  1. One game can define a quarterback, it did for Tua A QB can define himself in one game like a super bowl or a national championship or the last game of the year to get into the playoffs which Tua failed. And he is injury prone and this is just in college; https://www.sbnation.com/nfl/2020/4/23/21223883/tua-tagovailoa-injuries-timeline-nfl-draft-2020-alabama-miami-dolphins
  2. Very logical actually, doesn't want to get cut and be "damaged goods". He might be out of the league son.
  3. He is requesting a trade because it is doubtful if he makes their 53 man roster this year, nothing to read into it about their QB situation.
  4. Amazing to me so many here have not eaten brisket, some dont even know what is it.
  5. Tua sucks. I saw him in a must win game versus the Bills where he choked and threw three interceptions in a 30 point blowout. You are right, he doesnt have a cannon arm nor can he stiff-arm LBs, Tua is small for an NFL QB and will be injury prone. You cant coach size and he will never have it. At best he has a very low ceiling as an NFL QB due to his physical limitations. Most of his wins last year were due to incredible defense and special teams play, he went along for the ride.
  6. Probably the worst Bills game I saw weather wise (besides as a kid in WNY going home with numb frozen feet) was in Denver on an alleged beautiful day, maybe it was 84 degrees but it was totally clear day and sitting in the sun at that altitude the UV really hits you hard. As for the Jags to Bills fans, this is going to be an interesting game for sure. Year 1 of Urban Meyer and Trevor Lawrence, Jags ever going to get a "home" crowd it could be this year.
  7. They look pretty good. I can easily recognize Haslett, Smerlas lost a lot of weight....had to look up Shane Nelson.
  8. It is a very reasonable assumption on his part. I Dont know how well he knows his partner, what percent of his net worth he risked but such an establishment is rife with unforeseen problems, pilfering, long hours. Maybe it is a non-event and wont cause any issues by the assumption is very realistic.
  9. Great look back. I forgot about the Bermuda Triangle, haven't heard that in decades applied to the Bills. So who deserves the great for the Sir Andrew Quote & the Bills, no not Thomas Moore, was it Knox or Levy. I always thought it was Levy.
  10. I agree but I would have to add in the Titans adding Julio, hoping the reign of Derrick Henry will soon end.
  11. He is betting on Tagovailoa to ascend is he and then claims the Dolphins have a higher ceiling? LOL. Well maybe all except the most important position , QB. Anyone that thinks Tua has a higher ceiling than J Allen is delusional. And three seasons predictions in the NFL are fairly worthless, you can easily go from one of the best to worst or vice versa trams in the NFL given three years,
  12. My Uncle got me a ticket to that game, one of the best games I ever saw. I will never forget it. I remember how Howard Cossell and the MNF announcers were in a box visible to the fans and so many drunks were giving him the finger but he didn't seem to care.
  13. oh aint that the truth, they would spend half a show on him easy I bet they worm their way into talking about former Cowboy Beasley and the Vaccine blah blah blah.
  14. I agree with both of your points. So half say they never watch it while the other half complain the Cowboys are on it, cant please anyone. Fact is Dallas is an excellent candidate. Jerry Jones is amusing all by himself and the Cowboys have a LOT of HATERS and a lot of FANS, probably no more polarizing team than the Cowboys.
  15. I keep reading how of tern Oliver was double teamed last year. Anyone have any real data on this, like what percent of the time he was doubl?. And when you say double i assume you mean legitimate double teamed, not one guy chipping him.
  16. You cant slip anything past "the writers", i guess their first clue was out drafting 2 DE in the first two rounds.
  17. I also think Diggs numbers will be down. Replicated that year will be very difficult and Allen will have more options as you note.
  18. Who knows about Beasley, he might be zero, if he doesnt play I think that changes the entire dynamic for the passing game. I hope Knox numbers increase (assuming no Ertz). Kroft, Brown Smith Roberts will all be zeros.
  19. For some reason that doesn't surprise me one bit.
  20. Great! Congrats to Jessica.
  21. As I said, this debate I have no interest. The real question for me is not who is to blame for starting a QB selected at #5 but who was to blame for Picking him at #5.
  22. The AFL really opened up the game, made it fun. NFL to me as a kid was boring as heck, three yards and a cloud of dust.
  23. WE will disagree and not going to debate every nuance of starting/not starting a QB that I think sucks, is not anything that interests me but I will say comparing starting Tua versus Peterman/Tyrod is absurd.
