  1. Do we really have to re-ignite the Cole Beasley-Vaccination flame again? got that right, enough already
  2. All rotational players limited contributions LG Forest Lamp RT Spencer Brown TE Hollister I like Antonio Williams at RB Jack Anderson :Practice Squad
  3. The Steelers future is bleak, they could be at the back of their conference for a long time. The have no real heir for Big Ben and now they haVE to face Joe Burrow, Lamar Jackson and Baker Mayfield. all three up and coming potential superstars.
  4. Hope he recovers quickly and I believe he was on a regular bicycle.
  5. Yea but is he a graduate of TE University like Knox is?
  6. Well deserved, at least he got to see the start of a great new era. Papers are dying regardless, I listen to him a lot on NFL network radio.
  7. How long before a poster suggests we trade Singletary to them.
  8. He threw it 68 times, he should get a lot of yards, he also had 4 ints. Big Ben can still have a good game once in a while but they will get more and more infrequent.
  9. I think Pittsburgh and Big Ben are "in denial". He should have hung it up last year. So the Steelers now going to magically turn into a running first team? OK. I think the Steelers are fighting Cinci for the basement in their Conference. Too bad we have to see Ben in the first game of the season before he starts to slow/break down.
  10. All the "old records" especially for QBs and WRs are almost meaningless they way the league has changed so much. Right about OJ and 2000 yards in 14 games, what a dynamic year that was. Those that didnt see it it is hard to imagine how electric he was, every snap you thought he could take it to the house and he receiving was also special. . First snap form scrimmage that year I will never forget, 80 yards TD run versus the Pats.
  11. Ehh, old, coming off a bad knee. Interested to see how much the Steelers paid him. We invested heavily with "edge rushers" and for the future.
  12. There is a reason organization hire consultants. They hire consultants because they have a certain expertise/experience. Furthermore the results on the consultants will be viewed as less opportunistic, Who know the real motive for hiring the consultants, maybe they did it just get keep the stadium dialogue alive and buoy fan hopes. Reviewing topics on TDB would result in incredibly skewed and unscientific/unreliable results. I dont think those posting on TBD represent that "average" BB fan.
  13. So part of Wyoming now is Bills Country.
  14. I would think Ontario is considered "Bills Country", at least judged by license plates at home games. Where is gets really iffy is when you get out to Rochester and east or down south toward Pennsylvania.
  15. Great list. I agree with everything except for #5. They have NOT decided to build a new stadium, they decided to invest some money to hire consultants to help them explore/market the idea. So they spend a few million bucks and then their consultants may not may not determine they can even get the right financial support. We are a long long was from a new stadium.
  16. I did and it (Wikipedia) said, "Dwayne Haskins Jr. is an American football quarterback for the Pittsburgh Steelers of the National Football League. He played college football at Ohio State University, where he threw 50 touchdowns in 2018, his lone starting season."
  17. Like Jemarcus Russel and Ryan Leaf. I have to give Haskins some credit apparently not hitting her back.
  18. I also tried to figure it out but have given up, not sure what the point is, poster is trying to prove an agenda which is fine.
  19. toof huh. Regardless, after he fails in Pittsburgh I think he is done as a legit NFL QB. And i say that thinking Big Been needs to wrap up his NFL career.
  20. Amazing the semantics one can get in this board. I used to run a lot and would often run through stress fractures, the pain was very tolerable. I dont know exactly what Beasley had but I can tell you from my experience, a stress fracture in the leg or at least mine was very tolerable, broken leg esp if it is displaced isnt and I have had that. Just like the overblown drama about Tiger Woods winning the US open on a "broken leg". I dont care about the semantics but most stress fractures are nothing like a "broken leg". And I dont know if Beasley had a stress fracture or not. As far as Cole Beasley, losing him would be a massive blow. He has great rapport with JA, is incredibly reliable at catching the ball, getting first down and not fumbling. The drop off between Beasley and McKenzie would be massive. As far as the vaccine debate, that has been beaten to death here ad nauseam.
  21. Learn to read, did I write jail time? I wrote he will get a "slap on the wrist". Lets see, drunk driving, hit and run, resisting arrest, officer and Sherman minor injuries.,,wont even go into the burglary domestic violence.
  22. non-story? Actually sadly it is. Just a non-story because he drove into a wall instead of killing someone. Yeah because of fame and $ he will get a slap on the wrist. What would happen if that were you or me?
  23. Really not sure how interesting this is. If that report is true, seems highly likely he was drunk driving, hit a wall, ruined the tires and limped to the nearest parking lot to try and hide. What he did trying to get in the house I would assume, again trying to hide/escape. So to me, on the face of it, drunk driving, hit and run. If that we me, I would lose my license and probably do a little jail time. My bet is this costs him a ton of legal $ and his celeb status, esp in Washington is also going to get him a slap on the hand. That is my guess. Yes his wife is correct, he didnt hurt anybody, he got luck real lucky,
  24. Excellent move, even if only a title change, OBD trying to reward success and keep as much continuity as possible.
