Fetes' Five Hot Takes for the 2021 NFL season

Overall true but if J Allen leads us in rushing it could actually be a very long season without material RB contributions. -
Steelers sign Melvin Ingram

Have to agree with you. No the Bills didnt trample or have their way with the Steelers till the int. We were fortunate to have played the 2020 version of Big Ben or I think we lose that game. And when we played them it was a sinking ship. That is not to say I am not nervous about the Steelers game, we get Big Ben when he will likely be at his best before the wear and tear on him this year. -
Bills Players-Fan Encounters Thread

I have had a lot. Two that stand out, JP Losman and and some other Bills in San Antonio at the Marriot before the game. JP could not have been nicer. Also talked to Lawyer Malloy, man had an incredibly deep and resonant voice, smart man. Meet Kelly twice, once in the French Quarter during Super Bowl weekend and when the Bills and EJ Manual were in Houston, the game where Manuel threw an 80 yards TD to JJ Watt, saw that play like it was in slow motion like watching a car wreck. Both Times Kelly was incredibly gracious. -
Steelers sign Melvin Ingram

Good points and maybe some insight as to why the signing. Bud Dupree is gone, maybe they wanted another attacker to maximize Watt on the other side. -
Bills player tested positive?

Ridiculous, absurd unnecessary distraction. keeps going like this all the hard work OBD has done in terms of image formation can dissolve away. One way to attention I guess. If I were Beane I would be mighty upset, call Beasley's agent already and lay it on the line, he can have free speech all he wants but his employer can also fire his ass. -

Steelers sign Melvin Ingram

The Steelers future is bleak, they could be at the back of their conference for a long time. The have no real heir for Big Ben and now they haVE to face Joe Burrow, Lamar Jackson and Baker Mayfield. all three up and coming potential superstars. -
Vic Carucci retiring from Buffalo News

Well deserved, at least he got to see the start of a great new era. Papers are dying regardless, I listen to him a lot on NFL network radio. -
Steelers sign Melvin Ingram
RoyBatty is alive replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
He threw it 68 times, he should get a lot of yards, he also had 4 ints. Big Ben can still have a good game once in a while but they will get more and more infrequent. -
Steelers sign Melvin Ingram

I think Pittsburgh and Big Ben are "in denial". He should have hung it up last year. So the Steelers now going to magically turn into a running first team? OK. I think the Steelers are fighting Cinci for the basement in their Conference. Too bad we have to see Ben in the first game of the season before he starts to slow/break down. -
Records are made to be broken - From JK to JA
RoyBatty is alive replied to BillsFan619's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
All the "old records" especially for QBs and WRs are almost meaningless they way the league has changed so much. Right about OJ and 2000 yards in 14 games, what a dynamic year that was. Those that didnt see it it is hard to imagine how electric he was, every snap you thought he could take it to the house and he receiving was also special. . First snap form scrimmage that year I will never forget, 80 yards TD run versus the Pats. -

Ehh, old, coming off a bad knee. Interested to see how much the Steelers paid him. We invested heavily with "edge rushers" and for the future. -
Top 10 Bills off-season storylines
RoyBatty is alive replied to Inigo Montoya's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
There is a reason organization hire consultants. They hire consultants because they have a certain expertise/experience. Furthermore the results on the consultants will be viewed as less opportunistic, Who know the real motive for hiring the consultants, maybe they did it just get keep the stadium dialogue alive and buoy fan hopes. Reviewing topics on TDB would result in incredibly skewed and unscientific/unreliable results. I dont think those posting on TBD represent that "average" BB fan. -
Are the Bills are a "regional" team?

So part of Wyoming now is Bills Country.
