  1. Playoff football. I think Andy Reid who has had a lot more experience post season understood that better then the Bills. Remember the Bills-Washington Super Bowl, that was the reason why we lost, imo. They brutalized our receivers and we had no answer (except a penalty on Reed for losing his cool),
  2. I cant wait for Mac Jones to try to keep up has accuracy and throw into NFL sized windows as 300 lb man are about to crush hi,, then we wlil see what kind of great QB he is. Playing QB at Alabama is hardly a test of great skill, it was probably more difficult for him to get the starting job practicing versus Alabama defense then it was to play other teams. To me he is the most interesting rookie playing this year. If he is a total bust, I wont be shocked, he might even be be cached to be "great" if Bleichek can do the intermediate passes to TEs ad slot receivers.
  3. I read that list, for me it lost any credibility after the first 10, he claims Richard Sherman is the 11th best CB in the NFL, what a joke. Is this sarcasm or has Tua in fact looked "good to great"? I am firmly in the camp that Tua will be at best a mediocre NFL starting NFL qb.
  4. Thanks, have been listening to it the past hour. Informative, not a lot of useless babble and Joe is well spoken. Much better than trying to listen to the intermittent WGR crap, esp the Bulldog. Thanks.
  5. There is a lot of truth in that, maybe Breida can be the answer, I for one am an Antonio Williams supporter..
  6. "There is still a significant gap between he [Brown] and Dawkins, though." Well, when a team has a true Franchise LT, there is gonna be a big drop-off between the starter and a raw rookie. Agree 100%. Did he think a rookie picked late in RD3 after a few weeks of camp is going to match up to a vet like Dawkins?
  7. Bruce played in a different era. His then nose tackle Jeff Wright played at 274, How many 274 lb nose tackles are playin gin the nfl today?
  8. should have been much higher. How does he rank Jim Irsay near the top of the list.
  9. There are quality DEs of that weight in the NFL but it is small. Maybe one of the reasons why our run D is so dreadful, running teams can wear down guys that size.
  10. Greatest trade in NFL history was the haul the Cowboys got for a soon to be washed up Herschel Walker, helped set up the Cowboys dynasty.
  11. Why? Did the 2nd half kickoff in the Playoffs versus the Texans scar you that much?
  12. I have to research the Cassel game, he won and didnt throw a pass? He must have been replaced fairly early.
  13. Matt might be our winningest QB in Bills history, he is undefeated at 1-0.
  14. Johnson fits the physical mold quite often of what they are looking for, more athletically gifted but very raw (Edmunds, J Allen) that needs to gain experience & stronger, they love his long arms just like Rousseau
  15. I dont think so either but dont think they arent going to leverage this, I certainly would if I were them. Austin is UT country for NFL it is 70% Cowboy with a sprinkiling of Texan fans, Jerry Jones doesnt want a team so close.
  16. Makes the Austin threat much more legit.
  17. Almost inevitable after you two top picks are DEs and you bring in Obada. I think re our Rookie OLineman, i think they try and stash them on the practice squad. A vet CB or TE yes but ONLY if they are real rock stars that we can afford.
  18. I dont understand why Carolina gave up on Obada, his age? He looks like a steal.
  19. Squat. See how great a coach he is this year. Pats are going to be much better.
  20. Somebody has to go, yes I know is it uncomfortable and yes the vets wont be happy but they are also adult and understand this is a business. Now serious question, what would Bill Belichek do? I am NOT advocating to get ri of Hughes BUT if we can get a 2nd or a 3rd I would do that in a heartbeat. Around pick4 I lose interest.
  21. Fact is Jerry Hughes has been a great player for the Bills, also fact is he has had serious penalty issues, Has he matured to control his emotions on the field in the heat of the moment, i hope so. Also fact he is old now. Like to see how many snaps late in the game he has had this year versus year before. And your interjection of Allen to this is not additive at all to advance any meaningful discussion. Comparing Allen to Hughes is laughable, one is old and sorry, hate to be a bummer but his contract now is expensive compared to the 2 young DEs picked in the first two rounds. Gee why did that happen? We pay more Hughes this year then Greg Rous in the first 3 years. And "tearing down" is a pejorative statement to diminish my comments, fact is, if you can be intellectually honest he is old, and my comments about his contract are not about tearing him down, they are about the contract, get it, the distinction between player and contract?
