Overreaction Saturday…whatcha got after BUF/DET?
RoyBatty is alive replied to eball's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
So did Bojorquez versus the Pats but that was s coaching/execution error. The pats had overloaded one side well before the punt including no timeout out or adjustment by special teams "expert" Pat Demarco prior to the punt. -

Not for me. The 2 Bills playoff games with 6500? were a real relief. -
I remember well i said so at the BBMB and got blasted, the response was always well he made the play. No, he got lucky repeatedly and a lot of the credit goes to Mark Sanchez that he would just heave the ball downfield and Byrd played outfield effectively. Excellent observation.

TB got the Chiefs in at the right time with the D Line peaking and the Chiefs O Line a mess
-
I hope you are right but sad to say, great teams win close games, the NFL is about parity. The Chiefs owned the Bills in the championship game. The beat us at the line of scrimmage. Lets hope our O Line improves and we can actually run the ball and our D Line shows up with the additions, we revert back to a top 5 defense, then we can handle the chiefs.

2016 Bills Season Defining Moments
RoyBatty is alive replied to corta765's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
This was a Rex trademark on offense, when we moved the ball and had good momentum he would try and be the hero/genius with a trick play which 90% of the time failed miserably and ruined our momentum. This was another Rex trademark, either only 10 men on the field or rushing to get defenders in before the snap, constant problem on defense "Did the Bills defense only have 10 men on the field during Ajayi's backbreaking 57 run into Bills territory in OT? Yep. His other trademark was his laughable use of challenges, often challenges the wrong call or not challenge at all. I was through with Rex one year after he missed 2 easy challenges and then didnt challenge two other plays against KC which we lost but should have one. That was also when after being an NFL HC for what 7 years admitted he didnt know how replay system really worked. Pathetic. -
He also had more than he share of shanks, too many at the pro level and was a marginal holder. He reminded me a lot of Andre Roberts and why they didnt keep him, yes many times had had some great returns but he had his share of very poor return decisions and returns. I think OBD is looking for not only good players (that was good enough with what we had their first few years) but now consistently good players. And this lest two years are starting to really concentrate more on special teams, almost like a luxury compared to what they started out with.

Pat Mcafee Brandon Beane
RoyBatty is alive replied to jdonley1180's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I could see Beane as a very good golfer, not a long hitter but very consistent, very calm quiet, methodical, pretty much the direct opposite of Josh, hits the ball a mile and never stops trash talking. -

So what country club do they (Allen & Beane) belong to? -
Are there in and out burgers in Pennsylvania? Now locations can be found in 19 states, including five stores in Pennsylvania, as well as 11 other countries. The chain keeps its menu simple: burgers, fries, shakes and drinks. In-N-Out Burger opened its first store in 1948, which was the first drive-through hamburger stand in California.May 18, 2017

Makes total sense after that horrific injury, that has to be in the back of his mind every play. -
Best 4th string QB in NFL - Texans
RoyBatty is alive replied to CorkScrewHill's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Prove? I have a headache and blacked out, i might have had a concussion or the beginning of CTE. You think they are going to force the player to play, not a change in hell. I hear about it ad nauseam down here on the radio, two guys I would like to never hear about again: Deshaun Watson and Aaron Rodgers. -

What is your point? I hear McClain about every day including today. Let me put things into context. Your comment, " The crazy thing was when they were playing Watson at safety last week. Wouldn’t you want to make sure he doesn’t get injured? " Let me re-iterate, they were NOT playing him at safety, they had him stand there where the safety was supposed to be, there was zero change of him getting injured. Watson usually does next to nothing but stand around so they needed a warm body. If you want to make a big deal out of it , that is up to you. And read it again, they were " tried to end TC early altogether". Let me reiterate, they were trying to end access to the media to training camp, that is all. One day they allowed media access only to the first half hour, and that is when McClain got all emotional and complained to the NFL and the NFL said the media had to be allowed access for the entire practice. If you want to draw this wild conclusions, go ahead. -

Calm down. No they did not try to end TC early. And Watson did not "play" safety, they needed an extra body to stand in where the safety was supposed to be, there was zero chance of him getting hurt. One day the media was allowed only for the first hour of practice, then someone complained and the Texans were told by the league they had to allow the press access, that is the entire story. The Texans want to be Patriot South, why they hired Nick Caserio and they envision hiding from the media is one way to achieve it. You cant force someone to play, then he will suddenly will have a hurt ankle. He wlil never take a snap as a Texan again as long as that doofus Cal McNair owns the team.
