  1. Good point. I looked up JuJu Schuster average yards per reception, he had averaged 13.9 his first three years, last year it plummeted to 8.6. So yes Big Ben throwing it quickly (and short). We are really going to be able to compress them offensively. Run, Run and short pass....punt.
  2. Looks to me like the Steelers are going to have a few rough years ahead of themselves All the teams in their conference look to have the future rock star franchise QBs, amazing the drop from being considered one of the best teams in the NFL a mere 10 months ago. Now they have an aged over the hell QB they have to replace. Put Ben's age in context, he is the same class from the one and only JP Losman. IMO they kept Ben one year too many, this will make it 2 too many. They missed a heck of a QB class.
  3. So Ben had little time to throw the ball last season and his O Line has major changes and arguably one of the worst lines in the NFL. Doesnt seem like Big Ben going to have much time to throw.
  4. We would have an incredible defense, could have stars at every level, D line, linebackers and secondary is packed with 3/4 of the legit top players . And Epenesa as well, he could have a breakout year
  5. I dont think he wants to disclose an exact number then people as in this forum (and the media) will start trying to name/ guess who the unvaccinated are.
  6. Dont worry, you will see plenty of Rousseau.
  7. This is a spot on great post with excellent points. I dont know Dabols real value BUT the current combination works incredibly well.
  8. Are you blessed......Did you really think they would force a Jets/Carolina game on you?
  9. Where are the moderators to shut down this idiotic thread
  10. I got A GOOD chuckle out of that and you are spot on. Keep in mind I wrote I dont like the Texans (long story starting with the playoff game and the incessant JJ Watt screaming in the stadium) And it is nice to not be nervous about it at all. I hope as well Tyrod does ok, I think Texan fans will be shocked at how effective he can be running the ball, always had a a nose for where the first down was. I also dislike Urban Meyers so a terrible game between the two represent no downside for me. Of course I will proabaly go watch the Bills game but wil hear incessantly about the Texans game. If I were a betting man I would take the 3.5 pts and bet Texans and go for the under, last i saw was 44. Rookie QB and the Texans non stop running, will be a low scoring game.
  11. Long but entertaining read. One thing that stuck out for me, "“I learned from Andy Reid that the No. 1 job of a head coach in press conferences is not to create distraction for his team". Isnt that something, and who did he follow, that blowhard Rex Ryan. I swear Rex would prepare for hours with some of his little "comedy skits" for some of those press conferences. Rex was a master at creating distractions for his team at press conferences.
  12. Living down in Houston I hear all the whining about the Texans. I despize the ownership and think if they can manage to lose to a rookie HC and rookie QB, they have an excellent shot at 0-17 which is pretty hard to do it. This game will be the best shot this year for the Texans to win. They lose this, likely be an underdog in every remaining game. Looking forward to how inept both teams are. I think Urban Meyers wont last more than 2 years, poor Trevor Lawrence.
  13. 237 and that is what he looks like to me. And who is "Cam"? Newton?
  14. Excellent, tremendous work. This is what I must wanted to know about, " but they ranked the Steelers O-line 31st which matches the eye test in my view.". I cant wait to see our pass rush, especially Greg Rousseau. I am in the camp that Big Ben is shot so to your point, he is going to have to get the ball off early avoid the rush. And with a suspect line running will be tough, yes they have Harris but it could be a great day for the Bills defense.
  15. Taron Johnson is a very smart football player as well so that comment means a lot. Taron studied the Ravens routes and read Lamar Jacksons eyes and pretty much knew where the ball was headed and he get that pick six which really sealed that game for the Bills. It would be very difficult to replace Beasley, he was spectacular in getting first downs, he and J Allen "communicate" wonderfully and his ball security was second to none.
  16. If you think my opinion is worthless, why waste your time responding and even engage me in dialogue.
  17. Do you even know what Opinion means. You can not prove any opinion right or wrong, correct or incorrect,....you can agree or disagree with it. In my opinion, you are beating a dead horse to multiple deaths.
  18. No I m not "wrong", that is my OPINION, got it? You state your opinion as if it is fact and then follow it up with a bunch of jumbled indecipherable stats as some kind of "proof".
  19. Did you read what I wrote. I explained it, do I have to do it again? Sometimes he ran up the score, sometimes he didnt, hardly an indication if the Bills are any good if you want to predict Belcihek's whims. Starting point of a conversation, sure, that is about it.
  20. That is like saying if team X rushes for over 200 yards they win 95% of the games. True but worthless. W/L records "predicted" 12 out of 14 playoff teams.
  21. Point differential is meaningless. Example, there were MANY Bills-Pats games that were numerically close BIUT the Pats dominated us and Belichek, the master egomaniac., for whatever reason often decided not to run up the score. When he feels slighted or embarrassed by the Bills or some dumb arse comment by a Bill, he would put the pedal down to the floor. Or when a game has long been decided and the winning team, plays soft defense, the much lauded "garbage points" can add up. Winning the point differential is like Rex declaring we won the pre-season.
  22. Some good ones already listed. will go with one as a kid. 1973. Patriots versus the Bills. First play from scrimmage OJ Simpsons runs for 80 yards and a TD. It was the start of the best year a running back ever had in the NFL leading to his 2003 yards.
  23. Maybe I got it wrong, I think you are righ,t where his helmet flew off. Yeah they flagged it, it was inevitable that was going to be flagged by he Rookie "deserved" it.
  24. "The quarterback messes up, doesn’t see the blitzer, or the line screws up. I don’t know what happened, the quarterback or the lineman on offense. The defensive player comes in and hits him hard and they throw a flag on the defense." This is almost exactly what happened to Boogie Basham versus the Bears, QB was inexperienced, never saw him coming.
