  1. I am not complaining and maybe I am one. Imo the NFL "abuses" cities/municipalities , extorts them to help fund stadiums that are extremely difficult to economically justify. I cant blame them, I would do the same thing because it works. Yes an obvious source of pride and will help out nearby restaurant bars hotels about 10 times a year.
  2. Justify, gee lets think, spend a few billion for a stadium for football team owned by uber rich individuals that is used what, 10 times a year. Source of pride, yes, "cash cow", lol.
  3. I am really getting tired of Aaron Rodgers and his shtick & arrogant little comments "those of us who played" as if he is one of the anointed ones..
  4. Humble huh, after all this time finally. I will admit that Ole Miss-Alabama game he won was a classic game.
  5. But which teams do you get rid of, too many legacy issues. They might axe Jax, two teams in LA is overkill. So how do they justify new billion $ stadiums?
  6. Try and listen to that Jim Gray - Brady - Fizgerald noise. How many time do we have to hear that Brady will play till he is dead.
  7. If we play them again this year it would be in the Playoffs and Henry will likely be worn down by that time. He has already had 209 touched in 7 games which is borderline unsustainable. At that rate for a full season it would be 448 touches.
  8. Eh, the big head things is getting boring already...yeah i got it the 5th time Eli, hilarious. It does bog down with some guests. I have had enough Brady exposure, I made a mistake listening to that crap with Jim Gray and Larry Fitzgerald. Brady is no longer insightful, it is the same over and over again. Brady is going to suffer from over-exposure, I guess he is compensating for his serfdom under Bill Belichek.
  9. Nope, not in today cyber world, they cat has been LONG out of the bag on that one. No way the NFL is putting that toothpaste back in the tube.
  10. The move of Williams and Brown has been an incredible improvement. Spencer Brown has fixed a massive issue on the O Line thus far. It may end up being one of the Bills best draft picks. A 3rd rounder playing like a 1st rounder.
  11. Great write up. I agree, i think the Titans was his worst showing but not the reason they lost.
  12. Thanks. The guy is good and has a nice presentation.
  13. This is a valid point but I still think he plays again....again assuming no conviction. If and it is a big IF what "his camp" is saying that if he settles he wants all the settlements to be public , that is pretty uncommon for the accuser wanting such disclosure. A veiled way of hinting he is not "as guilty" as many think.
  14. No offense to the OP but do we really need to be "lectured" abut how to treat celebrities'? Its called common sense and courtesy, writing a thread about it isn't going to have any real impact at all but i do appreciate the sentiment. J Allen loves the celebrity status and what it provides beyond just money, look at what Bills fans did for Oishei Hospital.
  15. No i dont care to share because I dont think you really care. You are probably just hoping i will write "the wrong thing " and then jump all over it, that is your typical mo.
  16. 1) Charges = not convictions. All but one want a settlement. 2) Vick admitted to strangling dogs with his own hands and he played again. Other heinous examples exist. 3) Watson is too rare a commodity, Unless D Watson is convicted in a court of law he will play again. 4) If the Dolphins or Panther were really morally abhorrent and against trading for Watson they would have made a big public statement "we will never trade for D Watson under those horrific allegations, blah blah blah" , which would have also provided the teams with a lot of praise.
  17. think if they had, a Jets high draft pick could up up being extremely valuable. I would have considered it for a first not they would offer that to any team much less a Division rival.
  18. Warring sucks. He was somewhat a joke in Houston, they used to call him "water polo boy". He is somewhat another potential "Bills project", he was "extremely raw" as a football player, looked more like an athletic model than football player. Put it this way, he was so bad the Texans cut him.
  19. Yeah no kidding, you dont hear much about the great Genius of Andy Reid this year do you?
  20. No. NFL is now too dynamic. Look at the Chiefs and the great Mahomes and the brilliant Andy Reid, they were going to win multiple SBs and now they likely wont make the playoffs. This year/era like the recent ones, teams will come and go in prominence quickly.
  21. Debatable but it was not a heart attack most of us are familiar with. He was hit so hard his aorta was severed from his heart so yes in fact he died of a heart attack but it wasn't a "heart attack" most of us are familiar with.
  22. No way, their backup is Logan Woodside!
