As far as "hate", that is still reserved for the Pats, especially if Belichek is still around. Jets are the Sisyphus of the NFL, they will suck for a long long time and every three or so years draft the next savior QB with a very high pick (Darnold and the new savior is Zach Wilson) then, like the mythological Sisyphus, spend the next few years trying to roll the boulder up the mountain only to have the weight come crashing down and roll over them. Zach Wilson will be another Jet ruined QB until he leaves. Then repeat the this process for decades.

If Edmunds had this ability we would be a #1 defense.

Texans: Dumbest Coaching Decision Ever?
RoyBatty is alive replied to BillsShredder83's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Here is another dumb Gregg Williams when he was NY Jet DC. They had a narrow lead at the end of the game and with only seconds remaining he decided to go cover zero and blitz the QB. And with time running out the QB subsequently completed a long TD pass with no safety help. I think Williams was fired a few days later. -

Haack is kicking really slow [Moderator Edited🤦♂️]

Why the Dolphins let him walk despite apparently good numbers. He is going to get another punt block that could cost us another game if he doesnt speed it up. -
Mahomes’ Brother Pours Water On Ravens Fans

Among 7oK many drunk fans, there is a small fraction that will mis-behave BUT in the cellphone world now, they get on TMZ. Not like the old days at the Rockpile. And yes, Buffalo Fans are not much better/not much worse than the average NFL fan. -
Dolphins similar to early 2010 Bills?
RoyBatty is alive replied to The Real Buffalo Joe's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
As I wrote, until yesterday AND as I wrote earlier today, Dolphins lucked out in that NE win. I agree, the team looks now in disarray. I also agree, I have NEVER been a fan with the Tua pick, he is too small too frail. How much of what you describe are GM or Owners decisions versus HC? I also wrote Flores could be on the hot seat by mid-season this year, -

NFL should NOT punish Patrick Mahomes based on his brothers punk reaction. How is he supposed to make him apologize? Actually if I were the raven fan I would file a civil lawsuit, you cant throw water (assuming it was water, but how is the "victim" to know that). And based on the Mahomes punk social media response, "he was thirsty" demonstrates deliberate intent. -

I was a Flores fan until yesterday. And no it is not all media hype, IF you recall he was handed a team in disarray, they traded away some solid talent (Laramie Tunsel, Minkah Fitzpatrick ) to build up picks and all assumed he was "tanking for Tua". Well he ended up winning what, 5 games when they werent "supposed" to win many and the next year just missed the payoffs. He first year results were, imo, spectacular,. -
Texans: Dumbest Coaching Decision Ever?

I can. David Culley is a solid Christian which is paramount to the Texans owner and GM. In Culley's defense I will give him credit for: 1) The players really like to play for him and Texans players and Staff now enjoy going to work(uinlike under Bill O Brien). 2) He did a great job versus the Jaguars and did recruit coaching talent -

Texans: Dumbest Coaching Decision Ever?

Yes I can. 1) Rex's game time decisions, multiple, in the Chiefs loss a few years ago when he challenged two plays he shouldn't have but didn't challenge the two he should have AND him not knowing and admitting how the instant replay system work. 2) Every major GM decision by Bill O Brien with the Texans including trading Deandre Hopkins for a washed up running back. -
Was he, game #2 for the rookie on one of the worst teams in the NFL and already booing him? "Smart fans", nothing like giving him a chance, way to ruin your franchise QB. So what do the Jets do again if they are at the bottom of the league, why even draft a promising young QB only to ruin him. They needed a veteran like Tyrod that can really win a game. Wonder if we will be seeing the great Mike White as NYJet QB this year. I feel bad for the kid BUT it does make me very happy after that arrogant loudmouth Mike Greenberg wasnt already appointing Wilson as rookie of the year before the season started.

Both parties involved in this were classless, not just Mahomes but you don't every touch or pour anything on another person. -
How Much Will Epenesa Get Fined?

Why not, goes along with the main theme of this thread. -
I think 9.5 is too much but I disagree on Heinicke. Yes he had good stats BUT watch the highlights, most of his passes were too high and many behind the receiver and he got away with at least one pass that should have been intercepted. The one receiver, Mclaurin seemed to jump for every ball, sometimes unnecessarily which doesnt help in the YAC department. I am happy for Heinicke in that win but he doesn't impress me at all, he looks like an NFL backup to me.

Flores is correct, the Dolphins did beat themselves with dropped passes, penalties and missed tackles. The Dolphins played the way the Bills played from 2001-McDermott. Abd the Dolphins were LUCKY to heave beat the Patriots week one, they were gifted the game with three NE turnovers. Never thought it would happen this year but I think Flores is going to be on the hot seat at this rate by mid-season. They are in tough shape right now and they are stuck with a small, often hurt QB.
