  1. Wasn't "exposed" to them 25 years ago today like you are today with all the social media so apples and oranges, I wasn't aware if they were "jerks" or not. Jim Kelly snubbing people when he was on top of his game, yes I know and I bet if you ask him he probably wish he wasn't back then. If Kelly acted really like a jerk, like his punk Nephew Chad and I was aware of i, yes that would bother me. Doesnt matter, the milieu from 30 years ago is irrelevant. Point is we have a great player who is also, but almost everything I can see, is a great person, that is all the matters.. Why not just leave it at that.
  2. I as a die hard Bills fan would care very much. I am thrilled the Bills got a great players with a tremendous attitude, we are very lucky after wandering aimlessly in the dessert for years like the Israelites.
  3. I assume this is a joke. And yes Brady does look "bad" to me, he looks like he has pushed the envelope too hard, as if he has lost too ,much weight and been working out too much. I noticed it before i read those articles referenced. His body fat now is incredibly low. Look at his cheeks, and sunken in. Even Tom Brady and his avocado ice cream and no gluten cant beat father time.
  4. Brandon Cooks...so goes he so goes the Texans trying to cover the spread.
  5. I re-watched after I read your post and you are right, his footwork was terrible in that clip, looked like a high schooler.
  6. It has been on Texans fans for months, they already went through the denial, anger, depression and bargaining phases months ago...they are in the acceptance phase now.,
  7. Good for Allen throwing the ball at him ,I cant blame him at all. Note how Allen is the one that has to make the tackle.
  8. Great to see them having fun, real team building. Cant imagine interviewing the HC with some of our earlier regimes like Maronne or Jauron. Now interviewing Jauron would be real painful, Now Rex would be great but he would dominate and make sure he talked at least half of the time.
  9. Sure, are you tied in politically, dig time donor?
  10. First statement, no shock,....... second, i would be shocked if they approve a dome.
  11. You are correct OP. I live now in Houston and I can tell you the city went from rabid Texans fans selling out every game to them having to offer specials to get people in the stadium. The overall feeling on the Texans and its owner and organization is one of disgust and distrust. The level of apathy here, imo, especially for the ownership, is 10x worse than it ever was for ralph Wilson. That transition took about 1 1/2years.
  12. Two contracts are "in the works". A consulting firm and and effectively a law firm probably on retainer. That is a long long way from real contracts about actually building a stadium. Actually sign a contract to start moving earth and cutting steel before I get excited.
  13. What about Belickek's mullet headed sons, do they stay or ascend the coaching ranks?
  14. Yep, good way to generate book sales on the eve of the return of Brady to Foxborough.
  15. Kraft is 80 years old, is he going to re-tool the Pats at his age when he just wants to go to massage parlors and hang out in Aspen?
  16. Because the NFL has no balls and wont do anything until "forced" to
  17. i have been hearing that for 6 months on Houston radio
  18. I though Herbert would get it since it was versus one of the best teams in the NFL.
  19. Agree, its a long season and would be great to get some more development of Juquan.
  20. I have already stated my opinion, you disagree fine. Bottom line: One game can make or break a Super Bowl run, mathematical fact.
  21. I disagree, you certainly can. Read what I wrote, trace it back. What if we lose home field advantage due to that loss, that could cost us a playoff game.
  22. I recall something similar to that and no I am not a conspiracy theorist but there was no love lost for Ralph and/or the organization was so inept they never had the balls to complain or realize it .The run versus the Pats was ridiculous, it was something like 7 out of 10 years running we got the Pats after the Bye week and what a shockers, when did that end? With the Pegulas.
  23. Conceptually I would agree with that. The entire Purdue quarterback success I dont think has a unifying theme, it was just borderline random luck. Now I will take slight exception to that and that is recent Alabama QBs under Saban. I think they all get over drafted because the talent they play with versus other college QBs, it is almost impossible to assess fairly. That is why I always thought (and still do) Mack Jones is the most intriguing player from this years draft. It wouldn't shock me if he is a total bust or a rock star. I always wondered how he would perform when he doesnt have the best (on a relative basis) protection and receivers surrounding him, he sure looked good first two games but I think he was somewhat exposed in the last game, made some very un Belichek like decisions when under stress.
  24. I think it is enough time to evaluate Tua, here is mine. 1) He is small and gets hurts easily. 2) He doesn't have a strong arm and due to his stature, doubt he will develop one. 3) He has a very very low ceiling, imo he is a mediocre starting NFL QB. No wonder the Dolphins have been trying to get Deshaun Watson. Purdue historically has been a football factyr for decades. Off the top of my head Len Dawson, Griese, Everett, our own Kyle Orton
