Agree, its a long season and would be great to get some more development of Juquan. -

I have already stated my opinion, you disagree fine. Bottom line: One game can make or break a Super Bowl run, mathematical fact. -

I disagree, you certainly can. Read what I wrote, trace it back. What if we lose home field advantage due to that loss, that could cost us a playoff game. -
Schedule makers did us no favors

I recall something similar to that and no I am not a conspiracy theorist but there was no love lost for Ralph and/or the organization was so inept they never had the balls to complain or realize it .The run versus the Pats was ridiculous, it was something like 7 out of 10 years running we got the Pats after the Bye week and what a shockers, when did that end? With the Pegulas. -
Off topic Alabama QBs
RoyBatty is alive replied to 78thealltimegreat's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Conceptually I would agree with that. The entire Purdue quarterback success I dont think has a unifying theme, it was just borderline random luck. Now I will take slight exception to that and that is recent Alabama QBs under Saban. I think they all get over drafted because the talent they play with versus other college QBs, it is almost impossible to assess fairly. That is why I always thought (and still do) Mack Jones is the most intriguing player from this years draft. It wouldn't shock me if he is a total bust or a rock star. I always wondered how he would perform when he doesnt have the best (on a relative basis) protection and receivers surrounding him, he sure looked good first two games but I think he was somewhat exposed in the last game, made some very un Belichek like decisions when under stress. -

I think it is enough time to evaluate Tua, here is mine. 1) He is small and gets hurts easily. 2) He doesn't have a strong arm and due to his stature, doubt he will develop one. 3) He has a very very low ceiling, imo he is a mediocre starting NFL QB. No wonder the Dolphins have been trying to get Deshaun Watson. Purdue historically has been a football factyr for decades. Off the top of my head Len Dawson, Griese, Everett, our own Kyle Orton -

I think you are dead right and if we dont win a Super Bowl and can trace it back to that Pitt loss, it will be another historically tragic loss to real Bills fans. -
Does Anyone watch ESPN morning shows anymore?

I saw a few clips of Greenberg here at TBD during pre-season going on and on about how great Zach Wilson was playing and he was to be the best rookie QB and how spectacular he was, blah blah blah. I wonder what he is saying now that blowhard. -

It is not nearly as bad as the "old days" when I swear they were punishing Ralph. Almost every year without fail we would get the Pats afterr their bye week. Another huge schedule issue was getting Pittsburgh for the first game. Big Ben was almost guaranteed to break down this year after a few games and sure enough he already has. -

Yep, that is the direction they decided to take. If i want to watch the news I will so I gradually tuned out/off ESPN and now I have little desire to switch it back on. -

I agree, let them spend as much as they can, A floor, sure but not much more than that unless unless he at leads gets to a championship game. And Ravens are lucky they were not embarrassed by the lowly Detroit Lions yesterday so lets see how Lamar does this year. And yes the Bills did the right thing signing J Allen, now we dont spend the entire seasons debating about his future.

Week 4: Texans at Bills
RoyBatty is alive replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I believe you but what "huge study" and how did this "huge study decided what was a trap game and what wasn't. Without a source or the actualk study imo your comments dont provide any evidence at all. As did the Texans including their best defender in Reid. -
Bill Belichick. Greatest fraud in NFL history.

I take great delight in watching Belichek's apparent demise in the midst of non -stop media fawning all over him. What is really great is watching his teams get called for a lot of penalties (deserved), a lot of fumbles and now rookie interceptions. What was great to see yesterday was the Saints blocking a Pats punt and Jameis Winston, throwinp up a total jump ball....in prior years that was an easy Pat int...yesterday it went for a TD. Belichek looks borderline morbidly obese and as always looks very unhappy. What he is is stil coaching is beyond me. He will not overcome the Belichek-Brady debate as to who created that dynasty, imo the ship has already sailed on that. Belichek looks like a fat flustered bitter old man. Try to accept reality Bill and retire. -
Maybe it should have been. We are talking about a very small sample size, versus Pitt and then a blowout to the Dolphins...hard to get a coherent "theme" from those two disparate games. One thing he has apparently learned to do is through the ball away, yes its hurt his completion percentage (oh God no, under 60% AGAIN) but it is a more mature, team productive policy, I dont like the high number of designed QB runs unless they are very yardage/time sensitive. I also wish we do more QB sneaks. The number on QB sneak injuries' is stunningly low and this is a big boy with a heart to get the first (thanksgiving versus Dallas).
