  1. His double fake on the infamous Kiko Alonso made my day.
  2. This play really changed the momentum, Bills were offensively wallowing just like they did versus Pittsburgh and this brought them back to life. I think this was the most important play of the game.
  3. Precisely. well articulated. Anyone can use 2020 hindsight and lament a bad or non-optimal pick.
  4. He really showed up yesterday, he was a huge factor. As for as 3-0 with him, coincidence.
  5. I wasnt aware of this. Maybe now some people can understand why McDermott went out of his way to say he was a good football player. I don't think getting benched against one of the worst teams in the NFL is going to do much good for his mental health.
  6. Do we have to keep lamenting who we didnt pick? I read this message board, what is wrong with Beasley, what is wrong with Rousseau, Ford is a bust. You would think the Bills lost by 40.
  7. Journeyman Justin McCray, not an upgrADE
  8. Good call. He was a consideration of mine. His best year was 5/6 years ago when they had to worry about JJ Watt in his prime. This year had one sack against Trevor Lawrence in his Lawrence's first game. I think Whitney is on the downslide now.
  9. I cant recall a more overmatched opponent in my the last 25 years as a Bills fans than the Texans. I can only identify 4 Texans that I think would be an upgrade over what we have starting. Tackle Laramie Tunsil Guard Max Sharping Cornerback#2 Vernon Hargreaves Punter Cameron Johnston There are other players like Justin Reid that come close but no way I would break up the Hyde-Poyer combination or Marcus Cannon at RT but that slot seems to be improving. And Brandon Cooks is a stud WR, shut him down and dont let the Texans run wild we should win easily... i wont even suggest replacing any Bills. Any given Sunday and the Texans are playing really hard for Culley. The Bill O Brien era was dreadful for players and staff alike and most of the Texans have bought in big time, so I still think the Texans can win, especially with the weather and our missing players.
  10. And his throwing passes away (lowering his % completion).
  11. I already responded and as I wrote "Why not just leave it at that".
  12. Actually my Avatar is now a much more reasonable resemblance to the current Brady.
  13. Wasn't "exposed" to them 25 years ago today like you are today with all the social media so apples and oranges, I wasn't aware if they were "jerks" or not. Jim Kelly snubbing people when he was on top of his game, yes I know and I bet if you ask him he probably wish he wasn't back then. If Kelly acted really like a jerk, like his punk Nephew Chad and I was aware of i, yes that would bother me. Doesnt matter, the milieu from 30 years ago is irrelevant. Point is we have a great player who is also, but almost everything I can see, is a great person, that is all the matters.. Why not just leave it at that.
  14. I as a die hard Bills fan would care very much. I am thrilled the Bills got a great players with a tremendous attitude, we are very lucky after wandering aimlessly in the dessert for years like the Israelites.
  15. I assume this is a joke. And yes Brady does look "bad" to me, he looks like he has pushed the envelope too hard, as if he has lost too ,much weight and been working out too much. I noticed it before i read those articles referenced. His body fat now is incredibly low. Look at his cheeks, and sunken in. Even Tom Brady and his avocado ice cream and no gluten cant beat father time.
  16. Brandon Cooks...so goes he so goes the Texans trying to cover the spread.
  17. I re-watched after I read your post and you are right, his footwork was terrible in that clip, looked like a high schooler.
  18. It has been on Texans fans for months, they already went through the denial, anger, depression and bargaining phases months ago...they are in the acceptance phase now.,
  19. Good for Allen throwing the ball at him ,I cant blame him at all. Note how Allen is the one that has to make the tackle.
  20. Great to see them having fun, real team building. Cant imagine interviewing the HC with some of our earlier regimes like Maronne or Jauron. Now interviewing Jauron would be real painful, Now Rex would be great but he would dominate and make sure he talked at least half of the time.
  21. Sure, are you tied in politically, dig time donor?
  22. First statement, no shock,....... second, i would be shocked if they approve a dome.
  23. You are correct OP. I live now in Houston and I can tell you the city went from rabid Texans fans selling out every game to them having to offer specials to get people in the stadium. The overall feeling on the Texans and its owner and organization is one of disgust and distrust. The level of apathy here, imo, especially for the ownership, is 10x worse than it ever was for ralph Wilson. That transition took about 1 1/2years.
  24. Two contracts are "in the works". A consulting firm and and effectively a law firm probably on retainer. That is a long long way from real contracts about actually building a stadium. Actually sign a contract to start moving earth and cutting steel before I get excited.
