And what would the surprise be? The football world has already learned this year that he’s a lazy, entitled failson who’s destined to go 1-4 as a late season starter over the next two years then try to make the CFL
I think his game translates better for the CFL which is where I think he ends up if he can let his ego not over rule such a move.

This issue is not a joke, so for me I’ll wait until the facts come out. I table judgement on these matters as it could be true and that’s disgusting, or a $ grab by someone wanting to cash in like what happened to Araiza. I’m glad Araiza finally had a 2nd chance with KC. So my point is just let’s wait and we’ll find out if there is merit to the suit. We need him so a suspension would stink.
That is not the function of a message board, it is to make bold uneducated and ignorant declatory comments as soon as possible before someone else does. Just like alleged "journalism" now.

Also you need to find a lawyer to take a case like this on contingency (I am assuming) and it won’t be worth it to the lawyer unless the defendant has assets. So the “timing” is likely that. Civil suits are not cheap, no one is going to pursue one against someone with no money, most of the time.1)On the plaintiff side, It is trivial to find a lawyer on a contingency basis if the defendant has deep pockets which an NFL 1st rounder would have, issue is if you want good lawyer or not.
2) Civil lawsuits can be as inexpensive as you want them to be, especially if the layer is on contingency, next to nothing

This CANT be one of the factors in why the traded Jonnu Smith . Bizarre, seriously have to question the Dolphins GM.

I just spent 20 minutes looking at each figure and finally found Dion Dimucci.
Beyond that, I have little to no possibility of grasping much of this thread.

Yes, Dolphins drafted Fitzpatrick with 11th pick in 2018 and traded him to Steelers in 2019. It was different head coaches, but same GM, Chris Grier, who made those moves and this one. I’d be surprised if McDonald and Grier survive this season.
I agree on McDaniels surviving this year.
His unorthodox, goofy demeanor can be endearing when you are winning, when you are losing as in last year, it loses its appeal.
I think Grier is "safe" for another year as the NFL doesn't need to fire a minority GM.

WyoBillsFan. Yes. I do remember the blog. I hope she is doing well.
I started posting there when I was 15 so it had a big effect on me. I remember a guy named SaviorEdwards who was the biggest Trent Edwards glazer on the planet. He started a trend of posters like SaviorBrohm.
LOL, SaviorEdwards. that was a great poster.

There were a couple big posters from Wyoming. I wonder what they would’ve thought of Josh Allen.
Wasn't Wyoming a female?

I agree with everything you said- but rather than saying it’s a fair assessment, I’d throw in a fair assessment based on projections.
If Bosa stays healthy (BIG if) and the rookies can show they belong, I think we could be a top 5 DL.
Rousseau, Ed, Sanders, Bosa
Hoecht, Epenesa, Jackson, soloman
Daquan, Ogunjobi, Walker.
Not sure if there’s a defensive line in the NFL with that kind of depth.
Exactly, giving any "credit"to Bosa now is really a stretch, Von Miller 2.0 and pray I am wrong.

Disagreed The original BBMB was awesome. There were so many weird characters on there. Some were absolutely nuts, but that’s what gave it charm. Reminds me of the internet in its Wild West days before everything got washed down & sanitized. Even Chris Brown posted there. The community felt a lot closer and there a lot of fun contests. People lived & died w/ their player predictions.
It was hit and miss but I agree there were some extraordinary posters.
My favorite was McAddict.

Very good player but not a HOFer level. I never cared for the guy. He hated Buffalo because we didnt draft him in the 1st 3 rounds. No problem Gerry, we hated you too.
R.I.P.

Then you fire th GM,full stop, you don't rely on yourself and the marketing guy to take over the responsibility.
Pegula has a history of overruling his personnel people in both orgs.
He has a history of overruling his personnel people in both orgs does he.
Educate me, what is his history of "overruling Beane and McDemott. all I can think of he was a major supporter of drafting Allen, are you going to hold that against him?
Sorry this thread is absurd, starting in one direction and now just resorting to trashing the owner..

This poll is incomplete, where is the option for sweeping 2 out of 3 which I think is very realistic.
-
To think he needs a Lombardi to get in the HOF is ridiculous, just ask Jim Kelly.
I agree with Augie, just keep doing what you are doing for about 5 more years. He already has an MVP.

They are not property Roy, they are human beings with jobs…,
Cut the drama, yes I know they are human beings but to deny that they are de-facto "property" or assets is hopelessly naive.

R- Man, that is one of my cousin and I’s favorite movies. We recite lines all the time while kidding around on a weekend check in. That amongst the LW movies, Goodfellas, etc. I’m the one with secret love of Star Trek. I grew up watching that show in the 70’s on Ch. 29. If you are from Buffalo, you know Ch. 29.Channel 29, lol, was that a younger no network affiliation.

I didnt even realize Martin had been here three years. In the "old dreary days" I actively followed or punters, recall the quote of the years from Jauron?, "we punted well" or Bills fan extolling the great prowres of Brian Moorman our own Bills MVP.
Now with this offense, punting is about my last concern, biggest concern I have is our special teams coach and punted getting blocked due to mis assignments/alignments.

There's a balance between letting a guy understand the risks of activities, and bubble wrapping players. If we were the franchise that doesn't let our guys do anything fun during the offseason, we're a franchise no one wants to play for
Yes, that is EXACTLY what I was implying, I dont want our guys to have any fun during the offseason. Nevermind

You do know that stepping on someones foot, hard cuts and sudden stops in basketball are lot higher risk for a significant injury than just landing after a dunk right?
My point isn't that softball or golf is that dangerous, its that dunking isn't this inflated risk its being portrayed as
I am not going to beat this into the ground, as I wrote we will disagree.

I have family in the NFL world and let me tell you - playing basketball in a charity game is one of the safer things these guys do. There is a higher chance of an injury lifting weights than they do dunking a basketball.
These are testosterone fueled animals, they are crazy in the offseason. This stuff is much safer than letting these guys out on their own accord lol
Glad you have family in the NFL and yes I understand the dynamics. Robert Edwards career ended with a simple game of flag football, my point is these are million $ properties and I would strongly suggest toe Keon to safeguard his health.

A reach? A guy who plays basketball his whole life dunking isn't some high probability injury situation, the over reaction IMO is a bit of a reach. And guys have hurt their ankles rounding bases or chasing balls in softball plenty of times too. Also not a high probability for risk, but definitely not an absurd comparison either.
Point is - this wasn't that serious and nothing outside the ordinary of what professional athletes do in the offseason either. On the risk factor scale on what they could be doing, this was pretty low.
Did you watch the video of Keon playing basketball? Josh Allen does play basketball but comparing his play to Keon's, again as I have already stated is an absurd reach. And you comments that Allen could hurt his back on a swing or tear an ACL playing softball, all I can say is we are clearly not going to agree on this. No I dont want them in bubble wrap just use some common sense. This is why a lot of teams in their contracts explicitly detail what the players can not participate in.
