His statement went like… ‘I’m very sorry for the pain I’ve caused blahblahblah.’ And then lashed out a bit at the band Coldplay and their use of the stadium’s cameras… that it was a private moment that shouldn’t have been made public.
People don’t usually say “I’m only sorry because I was caught” in an apology but here we are in 2025 when audacity is at an all-time high.

Gonna take a lot for me to leave the Quiet Corner and lakefront property life in CT, but the taxes and COL is only ratcheting up here. I don’t want to leave, but eventually may have to.
Visited East Tennessee, Knoxville area near the Smoky Mountains once and boy it is BEAUTIFUL there. Still four seasons but with a shorter duration of winter. People seemed very friendly… or at least friendlier than here in the northeast (which, frankly, isn’t difficult to do). Would absolutely need a pool and great air conditioning system down there for the summer (my least favorite season).

Probably… Grace Potter.
Healthy set of lungs on her, which you quickly realize listening to her tunes. She can really belt out the lyrics with power. Favorites are probably “The Lion, The Beast, The Beat” and “Tiny Light.”
Topless autographs video! The goods are hidden behind a laptop screen, as she’s signing vinyls with a number of assistants around. Was she really au naturale up there? I dunno, but she certainly does seem the type to do that and it WAS really hot & humid this week. 🥵https://www.facebook.com/share/v/1CSkm7bkS8/?mibextid=wwXIfr

Coincidence or Easter egg?
I’ve seen red mini helmets with recent player autographs for quite a while. They do all kinds of designs with the minis. In and of itself it doesn’t mean anything.-

Short video of it on the BB FB page. Says there’s 22,000 of these panels.

Don’t teams normally announce a date to unveil something like this? Haven’t heard anything from the Bills.
True. But it’s also something that no one from Bills marketing / PR has said that this is absolutely not happening. It’s been pretty widely reported by now, they would have shot it down if not correct. -
Fall by a mile. Cooler temps and low dew points / humidity. Humidity kills me. As others have said, crisp air, the changing leaves and their smell, soup weather, football.
I could pinpoint even more to mid-October.

Bowen Byram is re-upped for 2 years, $12.5M total, avoiding arbitration.
Can’t imagine he’s happy to be stuck in Buffalo but he’ll likely be trade bait this season or next off-season, then gets to be UFA in ‘27.

Saw this video yesterday - WKBW tour - at the end, the project guy says regarding people being impressed with the current state "Knowing what we know - this is like a 1 out of 10. Like it's cool, this stadium looks big, but you haven't seen anything yet. That's the excitement I get - this is like bare bones in terms of awe... Everything else that we're doing it's just going to really blow people away"
My takeaway from that is Mr. Polka saying that the stadium’s life is “30 to 50 years.”If the stadium life is 30 years I think most people would be 🤬. This stadium had better last 50 years at a MINIMUM.

That’s rough. I can’t imagine and hope to never have to deal with anything like that. As most here know, Jim Kelly’s son, Hunter, died of Krabbe Disease, which is inherited. I hope that this is not that or any other untreatable illness and that the child is fully healthy soon.
Krabbe’s is no longer untreatable if diagnosed in time.
Their charity, Hunter’s Hope, was/is active in promoting this testing to be required and for insurances to cover it. A couple-few years ago they did testimony in front of Congress to try to get a federal mandate but it did not get included. Currently, only 12 states require testing for it.

It would be great if they could wear those at some point this season too. The white 64-65 throwback didn’t get officially dropped, they just stopped wearing them a few years ago.
And just to note on the helmet announcement… because the regular jersey set is somewhat similar they may decide to simply wear the red helmet with them, rather than doing a full Kelly-era throwback set. The league announced this offseason that teams are allowed to have 3, or in a couple of possible cases, up to 4 different helmet shells / colors and that an alt helmet can now be paired with a primary jersey set. We’ll see if any of this comes to pass.-

Turning this to the Bills. Aren't they supposed to have some rivalry jersey thing this year along with the rest of the AFCE. What about the red helmet. Are they bringing that back for a game as well. The only thing posted on the Bills uniform site so far is the game against the Texans as they will wear white jerseys.
There’s been nothing in the rumor mill on uni sites about a red helmet alt, even tho the league is now allowing 3 or in some cases 4 helmet shells. Literally everyone wants it for a couple of games per year but the team just isn’t doing it.In the final year of Rich/Ralph/Highmark this is truly stupid and heartless.
47 minutes ago, Gregg said:The Redskins look without the logo on the helmet.
It’s what they should have done from the start.Only nitpick is that there should be a thin white border around the W on the helmet.
They have the yellow bordered with white down the helmet stripe, it needed to be done on the logo too for balance & consistency.

I was uneasy about McGovern’s shift to C (iirc from the press at the time he hadn’t played the position in a game since high school?) but his play showed just how much of a liability Morse was becoming. Amazing the difference when the interior of the line doesn’t get blown off the LOS and pushed backwards into the QB.

I have a whole closet of Buffalo Bills past players jerseys. I wear 'em all. They are Buffalo Bills jersey after all. And I paid good money for a lot of them so I get my money's worth. I root for the laundry, not the players.
That said,I do have a Josh Allen jersey.
Bingo. I believe that’s from a Seinfeld quote.I have one Kelly jersey from back in those days. My others, that I’ve sewn 🧵 myself, are with my last name. I’ll never get cut from the team, you know?

To salvage something out of it, I’d take a seam ripper to the BILLS wordmark. (I’ve never been a fan of those things anyway.)
It looks like there’s no NFL shield on the collar either? Can order a patch one on the eBay and iron on and sew.
I learned how to use the sewing machine during COVID times and have done customizing on a fair few Red Sox jerseys (ordered the name letters & numbers on eBay from a guy who uses the exact team font and I assume it’s done with a Cricut machine?), a Kelly era jersey whose vinyl numbers peeled, etc. I also do the odd repair to clothing, dog toys, and other items; hey it saves money.

Well… consolation is that if he does develop into a decent player history shows that the Sabres will trade him for some hot dog water, whereupon he has a relatively high chance to soon win a Stanley Cup.-
