My brother came over to watch the game. We’ve never won when I’ve watched a game with him. And despite acknowledging this jinx and with my and my WNY cousin’s (via text & video chat) prodding he wouldn’t leave.
The door is locked to him from now on during game time.

I checked on the Score app and the end of the 2nd period we were up 4-1.
That wasn’t safe enough, I guess. Le sighhhh.

With all the stuff happening with technology, all I want is an option to silence commentators and just hear the sounds of the field and stadium that they get from the small parabola dishes you sometimes see pointed at the field. They already to it for SAP Spanish; make an audio channel without voices. I hate having to listen to jabbering fools to tell me what I just saw and the information that is right there on the graphics.

I wish bc my area is must-carry for the Pats* for local broadcast of all three DMAs I get via antenna (Hartford, Providence, & Boston), and of course they have a 4 pm slot on CBS too. 😒

Wow. Northwestern U. (located in Chicago) is building a new stadium for what is the NYS & Erie County contribution for New Highmark.
I get that there’s a difference b/w college and the NFL but that difference amounts to almost three times the cost?

iirc, there was a big run by KC late, and a Chiefs OL push-blocked Bernard, Bernard fell back on the ground. Then when Bernard went to get back up and was on all-fours with face & body all turned downfield, the same OL jumped on Bernard from behind (literally from 6 o’clock) and pinned him to the ground. Wondering how that was not a block in the back?

To be fair, I would bet that an ownership directive hitched their wagon to DJ. Which is why the owner said Shoen/Daboll will be back next year.
Starting DeVitto means the tank is on for better draft position to take the next QB.-

I think people need to be careful with DBs in a Mcdermott Defense. He can get production out of most. Lots of zone play. I wouldn't overpay any DB as long as we have Mcdermott. It's the one advantage we get with a defensive coach. Spend the money on offense.
Somewhat agree.If refs are going to allow OLs to hold with impunity, why invest heavily on the DL as we have? We can’t get near the opposing QB even *blitzing* when playing actually good teams. But for CB/S that’s an area where you need to put your defensive resources for a couple-few talented guys.
McD can seemingly make chicken salad out of chicken 💩 in the secondary, which is where he started coaching in the league. But it would be nice to have some resources allocated there, which they have been doing.

If Kincaid can’t go, do we elevate Zach Davidson from the PS? Kid seemed to show some stuff in preseason, catching-wise, but McBeane went with Gilliam as the veteran.

I saved this a couple of days ago and darned if it isn’t absolutely applicable to this place and its forerunners (I’ve been on since the early days when it was linked with the Rochester D&C, iirc).

But, he was a guard, possibly the least well-known position. But, he never played a down in the NFL. But, it's the Bills. But, he was a great guy, not lawbreaking scum. But, it was Larry Felser who lobbied for years to get Shaw inducted, and he's not around anymore.
So I'm not holding my breath.
Also pretty weird that I haven’t seen anything about the Bills doing a memorial “66” helmet decal or patch somewhere on the uniforms.
Especially for a HOF player, most teams do that.

Getting a LOT from Red Cross too — used to give blood regularly, nearly two gallons over several years — but started a med last year that’s on their ineligible list. They blood banks are really low in recent months.

Apparently all construction was shut down yesterday because someone found what they thought was a “hate symbol”?
It was subsequently reported in the story that it was in fact just an bonafide iron-working knot.
A day of work lost because of a knot? Must’ve been a manager or visiting suit who noticed and complained. You can’t make this stuff up.
