For those saying that alternate jerseys are merely done as a “huge money grab”… that’s just preposterous. I don’t think there’s any fan who goes ‘Well now I have to buy this new jersey!’ to have a complete set of whatever. It’s not going to dramatically increase the net number of sales. Rather, it gives fans more of a choice on which design they want to get. What appeals visually / aesthetically, nostalgically, etc. Having more choice is a good thing for customers.

I'm not sure how much flexibility there is in this year's throw back and alternate uniform rules, but...
It would be AMAZING if the Bills could wear the standing buffalo throwbacks twice and the 90s throwbacks twice.
I'm fairly certain that the league only usually allows one official throwback jersey, but maybe they could be cool for once in their ***** lives and let the Bills use the 90s set as their "alternate" uni?
I dunno. I'm just sick of seeing the Bills not capitalize on the rabid hunger by the fan base to see the 90s throwbacks, and there will never be a more logical year to roll them out than the final year of this current stadium.
Agreed 100 percent.
The Giants were able to have two throwback unis last year — the ‘80s-early ‘90s GIANTS set that they classified as their color rush jerseys, and the 100 years set that looked like the Montreal Canadiens jersey and a red wing helmet design.
Bills have to ask and then follow through on whatever way to make it happen.

Haven’t seen it elsewhere. Reported on UniWatch.
- Teams will be allowed to wear alternate uniforms in 4 games, an addition of one.- Alt helmets can be used with regular / primary unis. I believe this would count as an alternate uni game.
- Hoping we FINALLY get the Kelly era throwbacks to wear for the final season in Rich/Ralph/Highmark. It would also be nice to see a use of the ‘64-5 standing red buffalo unis to mark this & bid goodbye to a stadium that has seen a lot of history. Hope this new policy change allows it to happen.

Sabres when they’re out of the playoffs and the games don’t matter = 💪 😤.
(Other than getting us a worse draft slot.) -
If the team doesn’t do this for the last season in Rich/Ralph/Highmark1.0, they are both heartless and stupid.

Nothing like being on the brink of elimination to start playing lights-out.

I've never noticed that little house on the stadium site before. Sick for tailgating
The white one in the first few seconds? Surprised that’s still there. Would’ve thought the acreage for landscaping / parking / etc. for the stadium included something that close.
Some of the other surrounding structure is temporary offices, but the planning did include a large building (black facade, light roof) as the electrical / wiring hub of sorts, which was built bigger than needed right now bc future upgrades will surely need more space.

Ty was my must resign offensive player. He just made way too many plays for him not be on this roster.
I dunno about Ty being an every down back, but in his role, he’s great. Not just made many plays. Made many CLUTCH plays.

#3 is pandoras box. They can't allow replay assist to retroactively apply a flag which I get but it also is what would make it the most effective. The next step is letting coaches challenge missed penalties. There is no way that Darnold play shouldn't be corrected when everyone knows what happened.
Well they tried this with Pass Interference review when it wasn’t called and the refs (no doubt with ref union urging) gave everyone a huge middle finger every time.
They WILL NOT relinquish any bit of control they have over the outcome of the game. And why is that…?

Not surprising, he was a pretty bad punter.
20th in gross average
27th in net average
T-16th most punts inside the 20
T-11th most touchbacks
Had a blocked punt returned for a TD that cost us a game.
Oh, and that was an IMPROVEMENT on his 2023 season.
Yep. I’m not sure what others are saying upthread that Martin was pretty good / had a good 2024.Was I watching the same games?
Martin’s motion was sloooowww, and it cost us the Rams game with the block & TD. There were a few others that were very nearly blocked too.
Only concern is the holding duties for Bass, but TBH a new guy might be an upgrade there too.

Did anyone watch Steve Tasker wipe some food off his seat last night and eat it?
What a ***** animal. LOL
Better than how the whole Sabres team ate 💩 out on the ice all night long.Adams had better be fired following the season. A mannequin would have done more. He talked this team & city down in the ‘no palm trees or sunshine’ presser which was just… unconscionable. But it all comes down to paying for players — I don’t know if it’s a directive from Terry P but payroll is near the floor, right? — and not keeping around dead weight. Several prospects in the pipeline that are still developing but for a few of them, it’s time to sh— or get off the pot. And, I hate to say it, but UPL hasn’t looked very good most of this year.

The thing is this started before the all star break, I think that 6 out of last 7 games as wins
This was quite a late all star break going by past years, when it has traditionally been in late January - very early Feb.Sabres have 26 games left of an 82-game season.

Wow. Heck of a comeback.
But as someone on the Sabres FB page wrote:

A place near me invented the sour cream base, red potato, bacon, broccoli pizza. That’s a favorite. They also have a California pizza with sun-dried tomatoes and artichoke hearts that is awesome. I’ve made pizzas at home since I was a teen. Usually would go with pepperoni, black olives and onion back in the day, but have been trying different things like the above inspirations in more recent years (I use ricotta as the base for the potato-bacon-broccoli one tho. It’s just better.)

“The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face” is one of THE most beautiful songs, ever.
If I were on a deserted island and had an iPod and solar charger with 5 songs, that would be one of them.

I mean… are they just gonna be back on Monday?
Because if so, they just got a long weekend out of sexual harassment and that gal should maybe look into legal options / HR.Are the guys like day laborers, tradesmen, union? Did the boss at the very least upbraid them?

to be fair, we’d open up cap space cutting him at this point in the contract.
I thought the dead cap hit was $8M last season iirc. It’s less for this year, but still not nothing. -
Yep. Bachelor here coming up on 45.
My two brothers’ marriages & their ends ain’t been the best example for me to want to do that to myself. I’m also on the autism spectrum and tried dating a few times but never really had a relationship. I don’t think I’m entirely Aro in the feels, but functionally I am.
In this day and age, marriage is just a piece of paper that allows someone to take 50-75% of your stuff when the odds are quite high that they’ll divorce you.

Esp. when releasing him would come with a cap hit / dead money.
If we can move on from Sam Martin, however, do it tout-suite. The punt block-TD cost us the Rams game and his slowness to kick very nearly resulted in more blocks.
A new punter would mean a new holder for Bass, too. Which to me wouldn’t be a bad thing, because WRT to Martin… slow is slow.

They did “Homeward Bound” and “Here Comes the Sun” and it was fantastic. All four of the Beatles coincidentally happened to be in NYC that night. This was the night that Lorne offered $1M if all four showed up to reunite and play. Only George came — a testament to his willingness to put aside whatever arguments and just play and be together. They didn’t need the money. Anyway, after George showed up, Lorne & Paul Simon did a short improv scene in the backstage where Paul acted as if he were upset that he was being upstaged. Funny stuff. I’m not sure if they knew each other prior, but they laughed and got along famously and Paul & George duetted together. It was a really beautiful moment of two giants sitting down and making music. Their harmonies / backgrounds are wonderful without having much or any prep time.On 2/16/2025 at 12:08 PM, Doc said:I remember seeing "Florence and the Machine" and thinking "who cancelled at the last minute?"
Was this the one with Jason Segal (? from How I Met Your Mother) as the host? Florence’s voice was pretty shaky to start on “Shake it Out” as it seems nerves got to her. Improved as she went on. But, I dunno. I liked how emulated the lyrics of the song, to keep on going through a rough patch. Downloaded it to my library and it was a bit anthemic for me through a rough patch of my own. -

The title of this thread seems wrong. All the events that were considered bullying all still happened. Nothing about the facts changed.
Martin is just trying to be a scam artist crypto bro, which requires you to have an “alpha male” persona. So he’s doing what he can to distance himself from the bullying event because it makes him look weak to that audience.
If Incognito told me he was going to kill me I might believe him, dude has more than one screw loose.
The article smacked of a guy who I wouldn’t trust as far as I could throw him. Started how many business partnerships that he left in very short order? He seems like a very confused personality. Paraphrasing… that his commodity is building relationships and confidence? Stay the hell away from JM having anything to do with your money.-

McAfee Defamation Allegations

If he did not even say her name and was not the first, there’s just not much of a case against PM. He mentioned, in passing (per the NYP clip) an already notable rumor, and therefore discussing something that has been news. There doesn’t seem to be any malice. And again, he didn’t say her name. That’s what social media has wrought on whatever we once thought of as privacy. Stuff bounces around and eventually can get amplified.
Of course, the lawyers don’t go after the person / people who actually started the rumor. They go after anyone who has big money and then tries to put all the blame on them. E$PN may do a settlement to just make it go away if the ask is reasonable, but I really don’t think in this day and age that the girl has much of a case against him.
