Unless they’re in my contacts (where it shows the name) hellllll no. Especially this time of year / election cycle. Getting a LOT from Red Cross too — used to give blood regularly, nearly two gallons over several years — but started a med last year that’s on their ineligible list. They blood banks are really low in recent months.

Apparently all construction was shut down yesterday because someone found what they thought was a “hate symbol”? It was subsequently reported in the story that it was in fact just an bonafide iron-working knot. A day of work lost because of a knot? Must’ve been a manager or visiting suit who noticed and complained. You can’t make this stuff up. 🤷‍♂️🙄

Guy called out for help and the bystanders…. take out their phones and film the dude getting bitten to death. This is yet another way to know that society is doomed.

Great, so we’ve got two sides here for the last several pages arguing whether OP could / should or could / should not allow or, what, be forced(?) into growing its businesses around the stadium. No one here’s gonna change their minds. It’s going to be up to land owners, businesspeople, and the OP P&Z… or if it gets to it, possibly the state using some sort of eminent domain since that Supreme Court ruling awhile back. Who knows. Money will have to grease the appropriate palms. What may be a more viable thing is that all manner of food trucks could come in if the Bills or property owners could / would allow that. Personally, I don’t think businesses will want to move in and it seems like they’re not wanted. Arguing this stuff is just moot.

Having just replaced the roof and installing a huge new video board over center ice, it’s going to be *a while* before there’s any talk of razing & replacing. Sounds like a multi-phase spaced out reno. If seating is that bad, I can see that being next.

I mean… if they’re going to penalize even when a dude avoids hitting the QB like this — which the league has *said* they want to do — then you may as well really lay into him. A sky booth ref with replay access should have the ability to overturn terrible calls like this. They were doing that last year but this went unchecked. Seems like they allow so many hits on Josh go unpunished but if we breathe on the other teams’ QB, we get the yellow. TBH I think this goes back to Jerry Hughes; the refs union hated JH with a passion and they’re still holding the grudge on McD for supporting him.
