Another thing that I've learned watching 10 years of this stuff: Don't expect anything, b/c you're going to be disappointed. Have hopes, have dreams. But when the pick doesn't fall or the team just before us picks the guy you want, be peeved if you want for an hour or a day, but accept reality and move forward. B/c you can't do much about it. Same goes for the season....

Which means it attracts the riff-raff who, once they see a nice meadow to park their rusty cars in, decide to pitch a tent.

In the last week or so, I've noticed a lot of posters showing up and having 10, 20, 30 posts and they reason and spell like 3rd graders.... Could it be that the igmos over at the BB.com board are coming here to bog down the content? I wouldn't be surprised, if you've ever spent any time there. Anywho, having them go through registration just encourages these asshats to come back and cause trouble b/c they have that golden ticket that is a registration. Question: To offset this, might it be prudent to open it up to unregistered posting (only as responders) just for the weekend? or until Monday night? Encourage the hipsters to just do their schpiel and then move along.

Because the starting LT (or C if they switch Teague) doesn't appear to be on the roster. And the Shelton trade which looked like crapola before is dead (This is for the best, I'd say). Not saying he needs a blue chipper, but he does need to pick up a warm body, at least.

And the spike in registered users who will forever remain at "Posts: 1" just so they could chime in with "Yeah! What he said."

Hochstein at C and another rookie at T were starting in the Pats' second SB win.... I give TD a lot of latitude b/c he's the man w/ the plan. To me, these two picks don't sit right, as there are more important areas to plug w/ backups. Who knows, but he'd be wise to sift through the detritus and pick up a C and DT tomorrow.

I actually wouldn't be unhappy if we pick up Alfred Fincher from my alma mater.... I think he can be had in the third if the Pats don't scoop him up at the end of this round as insurance for Bruschi. Mark my words, you probably haven't heard of him, but this kid will be good.

I would be. I honestly don't think the Bills are that far away. Getting a kicker who can make the ST even more special and who you can have confidence in, even past 50 yards, is better than picking a 'Best Player Available' who will be a backup for 3 years before he sniffs the field. As long as TD picks a T in the 3rd.

Pats will be picking LB or CB. Their DL is strong already.
