Is that what it's called when he uses his left hand? What a horrible person!
-
You mean: -- Has a ... good bubble and thick calves … ("A good bubble"? WTF? ) -- power through the jam or use his swim move … -- Can sink his hips -- decent job of finding the soft spot to settle when working in the zone … -- Creates a nice underneath target If you read with a dirty mind, yeah.... :w00t:

I guess they're just saving time and picking up the entire Hurricanes squad. Did Willis clue them in on some secret about these guys? <Breathe in> Relax. It's all right. TD has a plan. We weren't that far away before this, we won't be that far away after it. <Breathe out>
-
You'd think with thirty posts in an hour, he might have had more than one idea to share, but alas.... it just ranged from dark to bleak.
-
Mick, I don't think TD has the Rolaids out.
-
I actually wouldn't be unhappy if we pick up Alfred Fincher from my alma mater.... I think he can be had in the third if the Pats don't scoop him up at the end of this round as insurance for Bruschi. Mark my words, you probably haven't heard of him, but this kid will be good.

Does Cinci go for Munoz, just because?
-
I think it's something we'll be regretting. Oh well. Gotta look forward, not back.
-
Now we'll see if TD gets a chance at Nugent if the Jests don't snag him....
-
I would be. I honestly don't think the Bills are that far away. Getting a kicker who can make the ST even more special and who you can have confidence in, even past 50 yards, is better than picking a 'Best Player Available' who will be a backup for 3 years before he sniffs the field. As long as TD picks a T in the 3rd.
-
Pats will be picking LB or CB. Their DL is strong already.

Matt Millen needs to be hit with the clue stick. This three 1st round WRs in the past three drafts? He's ignored his defense. And his offense isn't that good w/ Harrington at the helm.

I can't take it...... ahhhhh

Deep breaths. And Ritalin. Lots of Ritalin. -
Carolina or KC, maybe all the way to GB (?) unless someone trades up. Wow. He should've stayed in school.
-
The few times I saw him last year, against BC and Rutgers especially, he didn't impress me.
-
Considering how his Chunky Soup butt was weazing and huffing on a potential tying drive in the SB, I wouldn't say they were all wrong. At least people have a new definition of "choker" to replace Thurman.
-
Well, how about "high effort" This description sounds a lot like his brother.....

Trading following years first rounder?
UConn James replied to brihs2005's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Agreed. But there's not very many players who'll go in the first that are worth giving up a 1st in next year's stronger draft. Not worth it in the contract to get 2nd round talent at a 1st rounder's price tag. If TD makes any trades, it will be calculated to get a certain player if he falls to a certain spot. -
Shaud Williams' Sirius radio interview
UConn James replied to brihs2005's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
And a late wake-up call to those athletes who always said "Who needs a degree?" and were pushed through by taking sociology 101, pool management, etc. I hope Shaud tears it up. The big knock was that he wasn't tall/big enough, which for a RB is much less of an issue than other positions. UDFAs go where there is an opportunity for them based on depth charts. Dorenbos came to Buffalo last year b/c there were no other LSs on the roster. It's not so much a thing of going to specific teams. -
To be fair, I'd say 98 percent of Americans think they know the words to the Anthem when probably only 50 percent do. The key it's sung in (the words were plopped into an old English drinking tune) doesn't help the flow. To say nothing of the nervous pressure singing before 20K+ people. Try it sometime and see how you do. It's for this reason I don't judge. But they should have gotten someone else to sing them in her stead.

With New Pope Comes New E-Mail Address
UConn James replied to Tux of Borg's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Somehow, this pope doesn't seem to me to be one who forwards jokes via email, but no matter. ---------- A new priest at his first mass was so nervous he could hardly speak. After mass he asked the Monsignor for some tips to stop his nervousness. The Monsignor replied, "When I am worried about getting nervous on the pulpit, I put a glass of vodka next to the water glass. If I start to get nervous, I take a sip." So the next Sunday he took the Monsignor's advice. At the beginning of the sermon, he got nervous and took a drink. He proceeded to talk up a storm. Upon his return to his office after mass, he found the following note on the door: 1. Sip the Vodka, don't gulp. 2. There are 10 commandments, not 12. 3. There are 12 disciples, not 10. 4. Jesus was consecrated, not constipated. 5. Jacob wagered his donkey, he did not bet his ass. 6. We do not refer to Jesus Christ as the late J.C. 7. The Father, Son, and Holy Ghost are not referred to as Daddy, Junior and the Spook. 8. David slew Goliath, he did not kick the sh-- out of him. 9. When David was hit by a rock and was knocked off his donkey, don't say he was stoned off his ass. 10. We do not refer to the cross as the Big T. 11. When Jesus broke the bread at the Last Supper he said, 'Take this and eat it for it is my body'. He did not say 'Eat me'. 12. The Virgin Mary is not called Mary with the Cherry. 13. The recommended grace before a meal is not Rub-A-Dub-Dub thanks for the grub, yeah God. 14. Next Sunday there will be a taffy pulling contest at St. Peter's, not a peter pulling contest at St. Taffy's. -

Curse of the Ralph as heard on 97 Rock
UConn James replied to Hammered a Lot's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I didn't mean to say that the Bills were in the first SB ever. Was referencing that they beat the Chiefs in '93 or '94 when Joe Montana finished up his career with them. The D knocked him out, literally, with a concussion. That was a great game if only b/c the "We're baa-aack!" chants. True enough. CWN can take care of it, maybe. -
Draft Special - ESPN - 3PM EST Today
UConn James replied to Mark VI's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Based on how long round 1 and 2 took last year, I'd guess around about 5 or 5:30. -
Curse of the Ralph as heard on 97 Rock
UConn James replied to Hammered a Lot's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Bills beat the Chiefs at Rich to reach the first SB vs. the Cowpukes. Were the NAs buried in the Sheldon plot slaves? This area of CT didn't have much African slavery back in the day, but there were a number of NA slaves who built many of the stone walls in town. Which is funny, in a way, b/c I do this now. Truly some dark days in this country's past. It'd be interesting to investigate this further; a cleansing ritual might be in order, if only to be sure sure.
