Ditch RPO, More Play-Action, Run to the Right
UConn James replied to Back2Buff's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Josh does not sell the RPO handoff / mesh point well at ALL. Needs to work on making handoffs far less conspicuous. -
Yeah, but it’s us next week and he’ll run all over & through this D. So don’t laugh too hard.

Hey, Gostkowski missed a 44-yarder with :14 seconds left for a tie vs. Pitt. Robbie Gould missed a gimme vs. NE. Kicking has really suffered this season, even for solid vets, and it’s hard to really know why.

Daboll and the state of the Bills
UConn James replied to Buffalo Barbarian's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The jet sweep with McKenzie got absolutely blown up and murdered a drive. And... I’m not against them but you need to run it with someone else too. In the KC game with the weather I was screaming for some with McK and Diggs just as a way to actually get the ball in their hands but nothing; Josh was trying for dimes. Daboll’s creativity and any sense of balance just isn’t there. Need to do something different with each opponent and he doesn’t. -
It was all shoulder from Hyde and no launching, but it sounded & looked bad so the zebras threw yellow.

Why the defense got it's mojo back
UConn James replied to Buffalo716's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Bunch of terrible penalty calls against us today, from Tre getting a PI for touching his receiver’s hem; Hyde’s HUGE hit that was all shoulder & legit; their OL holding so many times. On the Hughes INT to end it, Jefferson? (#90, it was) managed to tip the ball even though his man had a COMPLETE FISTful of his jersey. Defenses aren’t being allowed to defend anymore. -

Trouble in Paradise! Diggs sulking on the final drive
UConn James replied to FireChans's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I’ve seen him many times this year just going through the motions / dogging it when he knows the ball isn’t coming his way. Moss did the same thing. It’s gonna be what it’s gonna be. 🤷🏻♂️ Still, yes, not a good look even if the game was essentially over. -
Zimmer has at least showed signs of life in his 2 games in the PS call-up and nearly had a forced fumble late. Other guys mailing it in, Hughes taking himself way wide out of the play 75 percent of the time, Murphy bending over for opponents’ OL in the first 5. Fight to stay on the train or get tossed off. Zimmer should get promoted to the 53, as he’s out of call-ups. Do eany-meany-minny-moe for who he replaces for all I care. DL has been 💩.

What a gutless gameplan vs the Chiefs
UConn James replied to Simon's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
This pass rush wouldn’t be able to get pressure if we blitzed 8 and Mahomes had a 3-second catatonic seizure. This was against their backups. The run D is just 🐎🔫-level bad. -

We could blitz 8 and Mahomes could freeze up for 3 seconds and we would STILL get no pressure. -

Am I the only one wanting an end-around / jet sweep from Diggs? Gotta get it in his hands and the rain is getting harder. -
A 52-yarder in the Buffalo cold rain? They should’ve just let Diggs try to run it after that soft catch or done a Hail Mary to the EZ and hope for a catch or PI.

Diggs should’ve just keep running after that last catch. -

Roberts has been snakebitten all night. Taking it out from the ez and not getting poop or bringing on penalties. Tipped ball for first INT. PR where he got owned by the first coverage guy. Now a fumble while again trying to be a hero when it’s SOOOO NOT his night. Failure in almost EVERY aspect of this team tonight. -

This has to be CBS’s D-team announcer pair. Terrible. -
That doesn’t qualify. That thing’s not going to pull in from 60 miles. Omnis designs sacrifice whatever is possible for distance in order to pull in from all directions. It’s more like if you’re in the middle spot between Hartford CT & Springfield MA, which are like 25 miles apart. Again, these types of antennas’ performance is extremely limited situationally, and they are generally poorly constructed. Don’t waste your 💸. 10/10 would NOT recommend.

Omnidirectionals in general are pretty useless except in small circumstances of being close by two cities / digital markets. See the reviews of AntennaMan on the YouTube. Don’t be fooled by ad copy propaganda. While it’s possible to bring in channels from long distances given the perfect alignment of tropospheric ducting (occurring at certain brief times of the year, and lasting for a few minutes to a few hours), getting steady teevee broadcast signals is limited to the curvature of the earth of about 60-65 miles. Do not waste money on this stuff. A well-rated “bow tie” or yagi antenna with a pre-amp if necessary, will be your best bet.

In String Theory physics, they theorize that there are 11 dimensions. And some think that there could be many more than 11. As you get up in number, there are dimensions that operate independently from space and time. Could it be a shadow of one of these dimensions or the multiverse or traces of / leftover electromagnetic energy? These are things to think about at 3 a.m. instead of sleeping.
-
With the antenna, what was your setup? Did you try adding a pre-amp?

Mine is more vivid details from dreams that literally came true months later, about environmental / physical features and things not in my control and far too random to be coincidence. As I was living it, I was like “Holy wow. I’ve seen this before!” Happened a few times. Freaky.

I have never seen a ghost, myself. So I’m firmly in the ‘maybe’ camp on whether they are real. My uncle, a post-WW2 vet, swears he saw one when he was installing phone lines in the late ‘70s iirc in the Mark Twain house in Hartford. This seems to be a reported thing with the ghost of a young woman in a flowing white dress. Mark Twain’s 24-year-old daughter died in the house from meningitis. And my dad says he met one in Colorado, where he was stationed at Ft. Carson for basic training and specialty school for helicopter maintenance/ supply & warehouse side. He was talking to a gal before his company shipped out to Vietnam, she said she had to go and asked if he would walk her home. On the way she said he would be all right during the war. He then went back to the party. A guy came up to him a bit later and said he’d seen him talking before he left. But... he wasn’t talking to anyone who was visible to this man. He then shared that there was a well-known ghost in the house and that this (getting a person to walk her there) basically was her MO. My dad was injured when a box fell on his foot and then with an eye condition and did his two years of draft duty but didn’t go to the war. There’s stuff that we don’t have explanations for, and whether that is energy that gets left behind or different dimensions or what-have-you....
