The difference is materials and labor costs — 100% union will be mandated in anything NYS puts a dime into, and companies will / have to bid higher to cover the far higher taxes. You’re expecting them to just eat the tax differences? Everything is at a premium in NYS and the northeast. Not to mention that there’s always a certain level of graft / kickbacks factored into big projects like this in the area. That’s just the reality.

Seems like that will be coming next season, when they announced the one-shell rule will end after this year.

White socks, again. Not a fan of this trend. -
Josh Allen Mocks Coach McDermott in Fisher Price Commercial

If the kid wants to be Josh, he’s gotta swing his arms before a pass play 95% of the time. And then on every run, no arm swings. Has anybody mentioned this tell? -
The Washington game in week 3 for sure is gonna be tough. If Rivera doesn’t stay with Heinicke…. This kid showed a lot in the wild card vs Tampa last season and has looked just as good tonight.

I really have to wonder whether having Jerry Hughes on this team is worth it. After the incident with a ref calling him a “b-word” on the field and then Jerry aggressively confronting him in the tunnel, the refs absolutely HATE him and routinely ignore *blatant* holds and have been quick to throw unsportsmanlike 15-yarders against him. Given the investment in the DE spot, I have to wonder whether he’s helping anything being out there. For sure, it’ll be time to move on from him after his contract is up after this season.

The Penn State @ Wisconsin game this past weekend had U2’s “Where the Streets Have No Name” right before kickoff and I gotta say that 1:45 opening instrumental is a mighty good pump-up when at volume. It’s also become a Thing that UW plays “Jump Around” by House of Pain at the start of the 2nd half and everyone… jumps around. They explained some of the story around it that it started in ‘98 by being snuck onto the PA system and the school’s administration tried to end this tradition in 2003 (for fears of stadium damage) and it does register on their geology dept’s Richter scale. https://www.offtackleempire.com/2016/6/23/12007876/b1g-2016-wisconsin-traditions

Maybe have a neighborhood four-year-old set it up. 😋

TBH, there have been several times when during the play, Josh has pointed at an obvious penalty before taking the free shot downfield. But, yes, I don’t remember many times of him spending time arguing with refs to throw a flag. There was the ‘How many times we gotta score a touchdown’ comment on the hot mic last season vs. Denver when we had like five TD plays in a row called back.

Try a range extender. Our garage is kitty-corner across the street ~ 150 feet and it works awesome.

https://www.foxnews.com/sports/tom-brady-stands-defense-every-hard-hit-penalty I mean, this is spot-on and the league has bent over backwards trying to increase scoring by making so many rules against defense and in the name of protecting players, but it’s quite rich coming from a guy who has spent his career kvetching to the refs to throw a flag after every incomplete pass and has benefited from some seriously soft 15-yarders for so much as touching The Brady.
