Literally the ONLY thing good about that is there’s no black outlines. Some people say they’re navy, but it’s black, just as the Cowboys have black outlines on their white jersey shoulder stripes… AND NOWHERE ELSE 🤯. But anyway, that’s my one major nit with our unis. The black outline is not needed in these days of HDTV and just looks so out of place to me. Look at how great the throwback unis are! No black required. Otherwise damn near perfect.

If Isaiah McKenzie hadn’t tried juking for a couple more yards for 5-7 seconds on the last play and instead went out of bounds, we would’ve been able to kick a FG. Instead we juuust ran out of time trying to clock the ball. I think it was that display of situational un-awareness on Dirty’s part that caused Dorsey to lose his sh— in the booth and smash things. He was pissed McKenzie didn’t just go OOB. Credit the close-mouthed / win as a team, lose as a team culture that this wasn’t mentioned in the pressers / media. But #6 definitely cost us that game.

I suppose all I can say is that in the physics theory of the multiverse, there is a version of earth where that happened or will happen. Although it’s possible that’s the same version of reality where Jessica Alba is in love with me.

It literally smelled like burning plastic and oil on Saturday morning here in NE CT, it faced by the afternoon. I had heard about smoke from the fires but wasn’t expecting it to smell that. When it happened a couple of years ago from more Western Canada it was like a straight campfire smell. This one now is just putrid and there is actual semi-thick smoke in the air. Map on teevee news showed WNY getting the worst of it (purple shades) today and tomorrow. Thankful to have a very good BlueAir air purifier for the house with HEPA & charcoal filters. I can cook fish in the kitchen and the smell is completely gone in 30-40 minutes, and it’s really helped with pollen allergies this spring.

Had a scare same as OP on the second day of spring semester classes at uni, freshman year. Appointment was three days later. I ended up taking a leave of absence for the semester because it really shook me up. It was / is huge so I had convinced myself it was Bad News, but yes, “just” a cyst so I guess one could say I have big balls.

Diggs’ 🤷‍♂️ display (understandable as it was) and quick French exit from the stadium after the Bengals loss combined with the aloof off-season stuff people have read into…. It’s not without precedent for an NFL WR to be a bit squirrelly, attitude-wise, but I just don’t like it happening here. It seems the buddy-buddy BFFs / bromance is over b/w Steph and Josh. Yeah, I do think it’s time for Josh to start getting into it with guys more when they eff up. And not just Diggs. I mean, Saffold deserved a 😡🤬ing a many points last year to let him know someone wasn’t going to accept him being a turnstile.

Sadly, it seems as if dressing like a bag lady / high-rise ‘mom jeans’ is the thing in recent years, and they’re just going higher. God I miss hip-huggers. Brittany W. always looked like she had on five pounds of make-up. I would bet that underneath all that, she’s maybe a 3. Josh seems to have graduated into dating gals who aren’t (at least primarily) interested in him for his 💰💰 cause they have their own.

That * who went and filed trademarks for like every name so the team would have to give him millions to acquire one? That is the cheapest, low-down 🍆 move. And IIRC, they all have to be shown being used for an actual thing to keep the trademark. If they do have to change (or even if the new owner just wants to change it to get a totally clean break from Snyder): 1) Red Wolves and work it out with Minnesota 🏀, altho I’m just 🤨because it’s a completely different sport, different region, and they are of major league status that they cannot be confused. How many other different-sport-same-name teams are there? Cardinals. Giants. Jets off the top of my head. Which is nothing to how every CFL team is some version of Rough Riders. 2) Washington Football Team and just keep the helmet logo as is, but change the unis back… because the redesign was complete 🗑️ with BFBS (black for blacks sake) all over for no reason. The Washington team needs to be maroon and yellow… that’s it.

Let me first say that I haven’t seen football video game graphics in a minute and WOW. Besides the scoreboard only showing a charging bill logo, put the brightness low and squint ever so slightly and it’s pretty believable… besides them having Milano being black. But damn. Who was simulating this for the Bills? Dick Jauron calling plays and a 4-year-old with the controller? Suddenly remembered we have Steph Diggs with 1 minute left to play.

Hoping he heals his ankle (was it?) 100% before he does anything. I had a “minimally displaced fracture” in my ankle in mid-November and x-rays were good in February, but the thing is still very sore after too much activity.

Minor nitpicks against the current unis. The biggest by far is the black outlines. There’s really NO need in the age of HDTV. The red jerseys do not have black outlines. Several teams have gotten rid of such dark outlines for the better. They appeared when the stadium exterior was painted black… crossing fingers 🤞that maybe when we move into the new stadium, that can be remedied. Awaiting an announcement for the red helmets. Now that we have 17 and likely to be 18 games in the next CBA, an additional set seems fine without diluting the primary. A few teams have yet to do reveals of uni sets that we’ve heard things about since the one-shell rule ended last June, but it was either too late to do something or the supply chain had issues. Seattle, LA Rams, Tampa Bay, Titans teased an Oilers throwback this past week. We’ll see if they fill these doldrums of the year b/w schedule release and training camp with some uni reveals.

Aaaand a commercial on our whole clock. What a surprise. This has never happened before.

Not technically a show, but a clip showing Mark Hamill Himself explaining the Force to the actor doing the motion capture stuff for the Jedi: Survivor video game. “You’re not playin’ baseball!” 😄😆 So great to see MH involved in SW in doing the Mandalorian cameos, etc. after he had vocalized frustrations with how Luke was used in the sequels. I think at one point it was being reported that he was ‘done with SW.’ Here’s hoping the new people in charge — Dave Filoni has complete creative control as of ~ last year — continue to include him and use Luke wisely. Seeing him in the announced post-sequel ‘Rey rebuilds the order’ movie would be fantastic to give him better plot & writing to work with, if only as a Force ghost.
