Given the options available, and the perceived strength of the upcoming WR draft class, I’m okay with rolling with our current WRs. They need to get Singletary more involved in the passing game ala James White. I’d look to add depth at WOLB or edge if I was Brandon Beane.
In all seriousness again I am also okay just riding these WRs. I’d much rather make a low key move for a depth LB behind Milano. Maurice didn’t look so hot Sunday, and Milano unfortunately has a history of injury. -

Sure I didn’t. The duke ballwashers had their schtick on full blast after his first game. Keep that head in the sand

I wish there was something more tangible. Sanu is one I would trade for, Sanders not so much, Nelson in Philly is a pass.
I can predict a board meltdown if drop machine Agholor ever found his way on this roster. Seriously he’d be drummed out of town so fast he wouldn’t have time to find housing.

Kidding of course. Seriously, an upgrade is always welcome, I don’t want to roll the dice on a banged up guy like Green unless the price is very, very low. From this and other reports, it probably won’t be.

Why do we need another WR anyways? I read here Duke Williams was our savior and all problems are solved after banishing Zay to the black hole? Must’ve missed a day.

Well it ain’t like NE has it much harder either. Bills and NE only have 2 non-common opponents all season. Safe to say they both have it pretty darn easy.

Nice move for them this season. Not sure how much longer Sanders’ has though. Obviously a move for this year

I think half the penalties were BS honestly. I didn’t see a lot of poor discipline by the BillsAt least one of those 1st half offensive holding penalties was a phantom call (the one on dawkins i believe.) either way though 9 is a bit much; you’d like to see that number lower.
The defense was softer up the middle today. Not sure why; miami’s O-line is pretty trash.
not saying anything about the offense. Too sensitive a subject for some. But you nailed it in your OP.

Watson will as well.

Sorry you can’t crusade about Allen without being smacked with facts ???.
I see youre crying about Allen in the defense thread too.
Take a deep breath, you’re doing it all wrong.
5-1 brings the tears ??????
all right then let me expound: Allen, again, looked excellent on intermediate routes and made clutch throws when needed. He looked very good on the designed runs even though i’d prefer Daboll not dial those up that much.he hasn’t completed a deep ball all year, and he’s so far off on all of them i doubt they even attempt many going forward. He took a sack in the 3rd where he held the ball for 8 seconds. His awareness is, lacking. But he still makes enough plays to win and has an all-world defense to bail him out most days so it’s all gravy. If you think this kid, as currently constructed, is going to win your team anything of substance, you’re mistaken.
that’s the last one for you btw. You’re a bully poster who needles anyone who slightly disagrees with you.

That game where he shows he is able to light up a defense with his arm? Where it looks like he can be a true franchise QB? Where he shows that even though he will make mistakes as young qb, he is capable of going up against a guy like Rodgers or Brees or Mahomes and keep up with them in a shootout? I'm talking about a game with 300+ yards and 3+ TDs....
Right now wins are all that matters. But I do care and I do want to see it, because to be able to compete in the playoffs we are going to need a QB that can win and take over a game with his arm.
Baker Mayfield had a 4TD game last year and has had several games with 300+ passing yards
Daniel Jones had 300+ yards in his first career start
Kyle Murray, a rookie on one of the worst teams in the NFL, has 3 300+ yard games in the first half of the year
Lamar Jackson went for 300+ and 5TDs against the Dolphins
Most thought this would be the week but it wasn't, so when? Next week is an even better opportunity. The Eagles have the worst secondary in the NFL, they get lit up every single week. They also have one of the best run defenses, which should force us to throw the ball. If Allen can't put up numbers against them it's hard to see when it will happen.
i am fairly confident he will never have “that game” because he’s nothing but an average NFL QB. He had one fantastic game late last year against a miami team that wasn’t trying and when given another opportunity today he played as an average QB will do.- 1

No doubt Allen can do better..........he really struggled in the first half. But from my perspective above on the 50 yard line it's been pretty concerning how little separation this WR corps gets and how relatively small they are as targets. They really have a lot on the inexperienced Allen's shoulders running a complicated offense let alone doing it without a stud WR. 5 years from now he might not need a true stud #1..........but right now it would be by far the best thing this team could do for itself.
Pfff. Excuses. WRs have been getting open regularly and repeatedly. A WR had FIVE YARDS of separation today and Allen overthrew him by another five. This idea that we’re running with XFL receivers and they suck needs to get put to bed. It’s BS. Josh is raw. He sucks at making reads. He can’t throw a deep ball to save his mother. Sick of people like you making excuses for this kid. He’ll get better, I am sure. He doesn’t need the constant scapegoating. Watch the f-ing tape

Allen, considering the level of opposition today, gets a D. Nice to have a guy with a rocket for a right arm and can’t hit the broad side of a barn from 30+ yards. Good win. Tre’s the MVP. Allen is frustrating as hell. Should have beat this miami team by 25.

The Monsters of the Midway or the 2000 Ravens and the Bills can not win every game 17-13?
Today we saw Miami almost beat them and if not for a bad Int at the goal line (and subsequent 98 yard drive) and a bad fumble the Bills again play to their competition.
This trying to control the clock and game between the 20's is a dangerous recipe and the Bills need to know how to score in the high 20's.
so we’re of the opinion now that the defense has to hold any and all teams to less than 14 points/game and if they don’t they suck?
how about asking the offense to put up anything close to what a “good” offense puts up regularly? Nah we’d have to talk about josh then...

Too many drops, too many penalties. Not a good game for him and it's starting to be trend. An easy TD and his big run are starting to be overshadowed by his mental mistakes.
Guy’s got like 12 catches vs 5 drops. He aint **** yet. He’s a rookie though let’s pump the brakes and see if he works it out

Well how many does Cover 1 think he’ll have? Six? I’ll be perfectly happy with 1. It’s not all about sacks.

I’ve been to many downtown stadiums. They all suck. No tailgating. No fun at all. The Bills would be making a huge mistake by putting the stadium in the heart of the city.
Nice LAMP.
i’ve tailgated in Pitt, Carolina and Cleveland (all downtown stadiums) and had fun at each. I like how you say you’ve been to “many” but give no examples. such low effort. Go watch college football or something- 1

Well Fridays are a little different format with their “football roundtable” stuff with a lot of in-studio guests. That may be why you haven’t heard callers today. Yes, unfortunately they still take callers mon-thurs for sure.
-
He had that one great year a few seasons back but unfortunately that seems like an outlier at this point. Maybe moving to another defense with better pieces around him can help some.

Real nice ship Gase is running down there.

As expected. Someone teach him how to catch punts please.

Fitz may have some of that moxie left in him still, but it really won’t matter Sunday. The surrounding cast is so terrible Buffalo’s going to grind them into dust.
The missing offensive weapon is TE

They also have Kroft.
if you want a real “burner” type pure pass-catching TE, well that’s something to wish for but it ain’t appearing this season.
You should go teach him how to hold on to the ball then.
