  1. Yeah sure ace I missed the point. After yet another thread which starts out castigating “people” whining and criticizing Allen and/or Daboll and offering up yet another variation of “they have no help.” That excuse hasn’t been used constantly innumerable times here in response to anyone, ANYONE who dares to think Allen, despite his awesome potential, still has a lot to improve upon or that Daboll’s success has been uneven at best. I missed the point. Keep it up though with the short, dismissive of responses though. That’s all you have to offer here after all.
  2. And who’s attacking Daboll? The voices in your head? I am just saying try a little harder if you’re going to start a thread. The “they got no talent tho” line has been beaten into the frigging earth around here.
  3. Yes we really, really needed another excuse thread for Allen. Thanks for making this point for the 10,000th time.
  4. You going for the record of most threads clipped in one night? This is manic, unreasonable and unnecessary.
  5. I think the rule was you could not own a non-football franchise in a different market that also had an NFL team. Owner of the Rams was in that situation since he owned the Rams in St. Louis/LA but also owned a hockey team or something in Denver (which has the Broncos.) Same city was always okay, however. EDIT: From the NYT: "the owners extended by one year the deadline for Stan Kroenke, owner of the St. Louis Rams, to sell his stakes in the Denver Avalanche and the Denver Nuggets. When Kroenke bought a majority share of the Rams in 2010, he was given four years to sell his teams in Denver because they violated the league’s rules that prohibit owning teams in other cities where the N.F.L. also has a team." https://www.nytimes.com/2014/10/09/sports/football/kim-and-terry-pegula-approved-as-owners-of-buffalo-bills.html
  6. True and yet they got an undrafted guy that looks like he can play a little bit.
  7. Absolutely. That's what made tough wideouts like Andre Reed so much more valuable then (not that they aren't now, receivers are just protected wayyy more today.)
  8. Made the pro bowl last year as a special teamer as well. I would sign him in a heartbeat our ST sucks. bad.
  9. No I don’t think that’s it and I don’t think the new guy is a troll. I think you don’t think you have to defend your *ahem* “ideas” to a new poster so you are trying to dismiss him as a troll. That’s weak.
  10. Just asking: where did he say $80 mil needs to be spent on FA receivers? Seems like you missed a crucial word in there. Then again it’s borderline painful trying to make sense of anything you write.
  11. What do go by name recognition only? Fitzgerald is a HOF receiver he’s also old as dirt for a football player. And again no back, not even david johnson can do **** with that line in front of him. Please man. And Kirk aint that good. He’s dropping balls like Zay.
  12. It wasn’t their worst week this season but no, they did not play “good”.
  13. It’s funny cuz it’s true. What’s tanner gentry doing these days?
  14. So long as the OC recognizes and pushes this yes. Allen’s never going to be drew brees and that’s fiiiiine. Lot of ways to win. Lot of ways to score points.
  15. ^this is so measured and so on-point I can’t ? it enough.
  16. Absolutely. And don’t know, don’t care. When’s the last time we had a WR go back-to-back 100 yd games? Stevie?
  17. Whatever metric you use, it’s a dramatic turnaround for the guy. Looks like something has definitely clicked. I’ll never doubt another ‘bama guy again @Sky Diver
  18. Allen does this a lot and I love it. I will sacrifice stupid stats like completion % if we develop a vertical passing game that takes advantage of the kid’s arm.
  19. I can’t with good conscience call a hall of fame player like larry fitzgerald “awful” but yes, he’s a marginal guy at this point. Still better than what Allen has? Sure, but not by that much. And I like Kirk as well but like Gunner said he drops the ball A LOT. Again, similar to our situation. Which was my point.
  20. Not saying we weren’t? My point is they are playing through very similar situations. Allen has made more plays with what he’s got so far. Judging either this soon “lol wrong josh XD” is f-ing stupid. This thread is stupid. Those are terrible numbers for larry fitzgerald.
  21. I’d argue Arizona’s offensive line is one of the few in the league worse than ours. They were in panic mode in the preseason. Yes they have DJ but what is he going to do behind a paper thin line? Everything you said about Fitz and Kirk is 100% correct.
