  1. Catch me up here: how are we so sure there are no #1 receivers in this upcoming draft? And that the Bills wouldn’t take one if there were?
  2. There are plenty of posters here that defend the guy to the death. Which is a bit weird when he has shown flashes but hasn’t really proven anything yet. Again, if you haven’t seen or acknowledged these idiots you’re either oblivious or one of them. No time for homers and/or retards.
  3. Right because homer posts about Allen don’t exist here. Never have never will. I am not digging them up for you on Christmas Eve. Read em yourself. You’re obviously willfully ignorant and proud of it, for some reason. Christ
  4. Asking for proof after I responded to your one two-letter word response? Lol. Try taking your own advice slick then maybe I’ll elaborate for you.
  5. Nitpicky. You’re sour because the play went against us in this instance.
  6. A Whaley holdover? Wow. People will believe just about anything.
  7. Such an intelligent response. Sorry dickie did I trigger you?
  8. Trial by fire. I couldn’t care less that Edmunds was thrown in there this year and struggled. By the time he’s 23 he will be a seasoned middle linebacker and not even approaching his prime.
  9. He is throwing to trash at this point. And i will take Allen over Darnold every day of the week.
  10. Seriously? Come on John you’ve seen them. You’ve read their posts. You’re questioning my assertion of excuse making and then you follow it up with...more excuse making for this kid. This **** can’t write itself at this point. I hope for your sanity’s sake Allen works out.
  11. This is yet another variation of excuse making for our QB. And there’s truth to it but while pointing it out don’t minimize the large amount of work josh needs to do to be a great NFL quarterback. He isn’t.
  12. Hell yes there are a lot of positives from Allen. Way more than I thought there would be at this point in his career given where he’s from; the jump in talent level and all that. Only thing I am really saying is the hyperbolic positive stuff about Allen should calm down a bit. And, if it doesn’t, then people calling that stuff out as homerism and maybe a little premature should not be branded as trolls or haters. people on a mission to hate Josh Allen ignoring his progress and positives get no love from me though.
  13. This is perfectly reasonable and accurate. We need more takes like this.
  14. Maybe and if certain people want to be that enthusiastic that’s fine and they should be ready and willing to take some criticism from some more realistic people on here. I don’t even mind josh allen he’s blown away my expectations for him this year but I find myself defending his critics just because they’re getting killed here recently.
  15. I appreciate that and like I said I agree. I would shout down anyone saying Allen is a bust already as well - it’s way too early to tell. But you have seen the “allen is a 2019 mvp candidate” or the “allen/peterman=kelly/reich” threads...I know you have. I have too. And people in those threads trying to inject a little realism were called haters.
  16. There are those people out there sure but they get shouted down pretty consistently, as they should. But there’s also people saying he’s a future all-pro, a future pro bowler, the best QB we’ve had since Kelly. I know you know this and you’ve seen the same **** I have. It’s one thing to be excited (I am too!) it’s another thing to be delusional.
  17. It is true and you’re one of the biggest perpetrators of it. And you used to be a good poster. Oh well.
  18. I am hopeful for the kid too. Never said I wasn’t. I was only referring to the hyperbolic threads that get posted about this kid every time he throws for over 200 yards. I just assume to be measured and optimistic as opposed to a homer simpleton.
  19. Agree with you and I know anything less than universal praise will get you killed here.
  20. Another game, another loss until next season, when josh allen is a “2019 mvp candidate” or any other number of ridiculous threads about how Allen is the second coming. I’m guessing those people won’t be commenting.
  21. Absolutely we can upgrade. It’s a nice surprise is all. A guy that started out as a lineman, lost 70 pounds to change positions and still producing at his age is a dope story. And Lorax is always a great interview too. One of my favorites.
  22. Lorax playing as well as he has at 35 is a big plus too
  23. I don’t know if I agree with all that but addressing the question in your title: I feel real good about this season. Older players like Williams and Alexander that might have fell off are still playing well. Allen is light years ahead of where I’d thought he’d be. Shady dropping off sucks, but that may be a function of the line in front of him. Foster’s a gem. Zay started out okay at least. I’ve been a season ticket holder since ‘07 and I am very optimistic about next year.
