33 No’s huh? Not what I expected. By almost any measure he’s playing better. Not sure what people were expecting.

Oliver may never live up to his pick status but not sure changing positions is the right move. Not everything that works in Madden works in real life. He's a rookie who hasn't done much (even though he does measure well in some advanced statistics.) Let him play out year 1 at least. No one else on the D Line is lighting panties on fire right now either, except Phillips.

Out of the ‘18 class, it’s pretty much Allen and Lamar out there winning games so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ not your 2 prototypical 300+ yard passers.
Glad I was pretty much dead wrong about Allen coming out Of the draft. This year I just wanted to see the mistakes/turnovers decrease and they have over the past 4 games so I am fresh out of complaints right now.

Because the Bills and Pats can't both win out.
We play them week 16.
That’s true. Don’t we have the easier schedule though?

If the bills win out, and the pats win out, then we still have 2 losses to their 1. So how do we control our own destiny? Don’t we need the pats to lose at least 1-2 more games to have a shot at the 1 seed? I’ll hang up and listen.

No one said or mentioned anything about head trauma causing it and who knows, maybe there are lawsuits coming. It's obvious Trent is working the system to get his checks after the team failed to trade him. We will see what develops. It may have ramifications across the league.
he’s probably less worried about the game checks and more worried about ensuring his contract year doesn’t get tolled, to be honest. To even attempt to paint this guy as greedy after what Washington and their staff put him through is straight garbage, sorry.
According to reports (which, admittedly, may be biased) this particular rare cancer was weeks away from reaching his brain. I support any and all efforts by Trent Williams to burn that franchise to the ground. Snyder and his operation are at this point actively harming the reputation of the NFL and he should be forced to sell.

I mean, why is DVOA “disgustingly accurate?” Apparently it’s not if it predicts the bills at 3-4 when, in real life, they’re 5-2. I am not anti-analyics. Far from it. But these numbers need to, at some point, be predictive and they dont seem to be. Call it an outlier maybe, but there’s only so many outliers until the model starts breaking down

How about beating the Patriots? Or winning a playoff game?
Sure that too. I just could care less about Whaley, Brandon, Rex, et al. They all failed. This guy’s still on the job so he’s still got a chance to succeed. So if he wants to throw a dig at those guys every once in a while it doesn’t bother me one bit.

Ok but it definitely sounds defensive. And some of those moves presumably were signed off on by his boss Terry. McD hasn't won anything yet - ANYTHING. He really should keep those thoughts to himself.
So until he wins the super bowl he should ignore and not comment on the past and speak exclusively in boring platitudes? Idk man that sounds boring...

Eh Baker’s going to continue to react that way, just how he is. For the record - it was a dumb question:
”So are you pleased with the result of that failed drive?”
that’s just needling the guy. Unprofessional
-
Can’t we all just applaud the guy for saying something both honest and interesting for once?

Wont they get a comp pick .. probably 3rd round if he walks ?Formula is more complicated that just that but it’s possible.

I don’t see the fit here, unless:
1) they feel like severely restricting Gore’s carries (highly unlikely) or
2) they still have very little trust in Singletary and would rather have him watch more, play less (stupid)

This offense needs to show some life some style points. I don't know if it's allen or dabol but this offense stinks it's needs to be able to score in the 20s consistently
Nah that was a total team failure yesterday. I can agree that we can’t realistically expect the defense to hold opponents to less than 20 points every week. The offense has to consistently score more points to keep us in most games going forward. But the defense deserves an equal amount of blame for yesterday. If they can’t shore up the run defense their problems will continue.

Oh yeah that’s the stuff.

All screens pretty much.
Yes. The longest throw I remember Wentz completing was the sideline throw to Alshon when he roasted Wallace. That’s about it.

That's USA Today's definition.
There's also stats that track air yards. Are we not allowed to use that?
Exactly. Fact is we don’t need to agree on a specific definition - we all see the games and know exactly the type of plays we’re talking about here. And Allen has been horrendous week in week out throwing downfield.

Nope cant be he has completed 10.

What are you people defining as the "Deep" Ball?
that’s “big play” passes, i.e. any pass resulting in a 25 yard or more gain. So a swing pass to singletary that goes for 30 yards would qualify. Not exactly what we’re talking about here. -

Me thinks I am.
How many do you see in a game?
Deep for our Offense I suppose(Sadly) is 20 yards.
Only one deep ball was attempted yesterday, and I suspect it was limited to one because of the 40+mph winds. Every other game Josh has attempted multiple deep balls a game and has yet to complete one this year. He overthrows open receivers on almost every attempt. How many more times a game do you want to see a wasted down trying to stretch one downfield?
sorry, the deep ball is not Allen’s strength right now. He is much more successful throwing intermediate routes to brown and beasley this year. That’s what he’s good at currently.

That's my analogy of Josh Allen. He arguably has one of the biggest arms in the league, but he rarely throws the deep ball.
We need to spread the WR's out and let JA THROW THE BALL!
AMIRIGHT ??
He never completes a deep ball. There have been attempts. So no, UNOTRITE

This team just does not get enough turnovers, where are strip sacks or fumbles? Starts with defensive cordinator Frazier, not enough blitzes or coaching our players to attack the football to force fumbles. Seems like our offence is always having to go the full length of field to score points.
One of the best ways to help a young QB is give him a short field
Offense also needs to score more points. Why does Josh Allen constantly need more “help?” Can he or will he ever help himself? More excuse making. Tre White saved the game last week with 2 turnovers.
-
Allen missed more than “a few” throws but, I agree with most here: the coaching today did him no favors. Allen did have some very tough yards scrambling today and was sliding. That’s improvement.

He appears to be a problem, he’s certainly not THE problem.

Not gonna comment on the girl’s looks as the resident Chuds have already done but she seems very misinformed, or perhaps just a hopeful Oakland fan.
