  1. Yet another OP who flies in, throws **** against the wall and disappears from his thread, never to return. Love the influx of these geniuses around here.
  2. Cool...cool. You know you could’ve found your old thread about your draft preferences and just updated that one.
  3. Sure okay. Thanks for the anecdote about your buddy. Allen’s and Mahomes’ skillsets are exactly the same. ? seriously some people
  4. I’m sure he was. But their pedigree as far as baseball goes isn’t the same.
  5. I can see it. I hope Allen develops into something close to Mahomes; it’s impossible to know yet given their respective situations. But there definitely are surface-level similarities between the two. I don’t see Allen ever developing the unorthodox talents Mahomes seems to have, i.e. the dime passes from crazy arm angles, things like that. I think that comes from his baseball background that Allen just doesn’t have, and that’s OK.
  6. Right? It’s like they are actively pandering to this image that no one even cares about anymore since they are bailing to Vegas
  7. Yet another guy who starts a thread and never returns to it. Just what we needed.
  8. You’re supposed to, ya know, engage with the people kind enough to comment on your thread with the bad title bud. This isn’t your personal blog.
  9. I listened to it earlier but thanks for posting again...i agree he is steering the ship right it seems so far. Now let’s get an awesome draft and start translating the vibes into wins.
  10. God what a loser. Quick to call out a "putz" you've never met and people that had the gall to think he might be a good quarterback. Then proceed to gaslight when called out about it. Coward.
  11. Who "proclaimed" him better? Some posters here that had a different preference than you before last year's draft? Many, if not most of the posters here who preferred Rosen over Allen pre-draft last year (me included) have already changed our minds, if you've paid attention at all. You sound like a baby man. Every thread even tangentially related to Allen and/or Rosen and you bring this petty **** up. Maybe you take your own advice and go for a looooooong walk.
  12. I can agree with that, in general. I believe it was all the coach's decision to bench TT and throw him in there his rookie year though. As far as this season goes, I think it was Derek Anderson's indecision, in part, that led to us rolling into opening day with those particular guys. I think Beane (and maybe McDermott) were trying to get him in there and he was vacillating.
  13. you're really so bitter about that still that you come into this positive thread and show your *** and insult the kid who had a bad year with a horrible team around him and is now thrown into uncertainty, no fault of his own? I thought age was supposed to breed wisdom. Not in your case I guess.
  14. The Peterman **** is on McDermott, not Beane. As far as this thread is about Beane, I don't hold him at fault for that debacle.
  15. About time someone actually connected to the organization actually said it plainly like that. Honestly people pointing to the AB situation as modern proof of this notion can kick rocks. AB is a headcase, an anomaly. Personally I think Buffalo dispelled this notion that we're a wasteland that no one will come to was shot down with the Mario Williams signing years ago. Going out this year and getting the (arguably) best FA center in the game, along with another 8 guys should just reinforce that point. But national media, holed up in NYC, Bristol, or LA are encased in their bubbles and slow to learn.
  16. Maybe not - my experience, like I said, was limited and anecdotal. Also: I wouldn't trust I a thing Troy Vincent says or has said.
  17. well well...I'm sure this will soften the blow...
  18. You're taking a very strict cost/benefit analysis look here and I respect that and agree with your points about the phase-out of the kickoff. That said I still agree on scooping up the all-pro specialist, maybe just because I still have nightmares about the Bills' special teams play last season.
  19. Feliciano so nervous at presser...poor guy (not knocking him at all don't @ me)
