The point is you can’t cherry pick stats and look credible. Josh Allen is improving, quite a bit actually. But being familiar with his fan club here you should know that any negative stats associated with the kid (the horrid comp%, the ttr, and all the missed reads, etc from the first season) are ignored or explained away. josh allen is good - way better than I’d thought he’d be, even last season. And he’s getting better by the week it seems. The cheerleading threads are tedious though. He’s not the strength of this team right now; the defense is.

This is excellent. And, by the way, there is next to nothing concrete in any of these forbes “valuations.” pretty sure Jeffery Epstein was listed as a forbes “billionaire” until he got caught up in certain things and the feds counted up his money and he had about half that.

Your #3 is important because it can never happen again. Motor getting 4 carries is a travesty. If Daboll and McD are going to gift Gore legacy touches Beane should just cut him too.

Why though? The offense wasn’t “wobbly” because of Singletary. It was wobbly because Gore is just a name at this point, Allen made some iffy decisions, Beasley dropped the ball, and Daboll forgot Singletary was on the team. All these things cannot be remedied by shelling out draft capital for the opportunity to bring in Gordon and then paying him $13 million a year. And Allen should be under pressure. To win in the NFL you need to be able to perform under pressure. He’s a grown up big boy quarterback, not a baby.

I think OP’s grade is pretty much spot on. I’d bump it up to a B personally; I think Allen bounced back excellently in the second half. Drops by beasley not his fault. John Brown an excellent weapon for Josh. Win’s a win.

Promo come on man. I am not hating (not in my eyes at least) but the all or nothing comment applies here because I know and I KNOW you know that allen criticism gets killed by his cheerleaders here (and there are several.)

I would! If I had a choice. We don’t. So I will support Allen until he flames out or leads us to the promised land. Either or. Not going to attribute every win (especially close ones) to Allen’s “dominance” though when he did nothing of the sort. Also, why isn’t there a “cut beasley” thread yet?
