There is a defensive stat out there that doesn't get tracked like INTs or pts/gm that I'd like to see followed (and I'm not talking about 3rd down defense); it's 3 and outs. How many times a D forces the O to go 1, 2, 3, punt.

It disgusts me to admit this but the highest paid player in the NFL today should be Tom Brady. The guy has been money the last 12+ years.

Call me crazy, but of the many things to look forward to this season, my pièce de résistance would be watching Jerome Felton and John Conner lead blocking on ST while Harvin is returning kickoffs. I hope we keep both fullbacks and they are both studs on O and ST.

As a sidenote: if our offense doesn't go 3 and out next season as a result of all the changes, that can only help what should be a great defense.

That's if Jimmy even makes it to week 2. The Cheats still have to host the Steelers in week 1; no easy feat.

I'm getting tired of reading about how Spikes is just a 'two-down LB', his pass coverage is a liability. I say bull butter! If he is so bad in pass coverage, then why do all of our opponents try running the ball when he's on the field? You'd think they would not only throw it everytime when he's playing but also throw it at the guy he is trying to cover. I believe if Rex is as good as his reputation on creating a D that enhances a player's skills and hides their weaknesses, then Spikes seems the obvious choice as MLB. Git'er done, Whaley.

Having Suh step on Brady's leg a few times might help.

I'm absolutely torn on this. I voted Kiko but know I will end up liking Shady on this team. Who knows? Spiller was probably looking to get paid what Shady is gonna get. Bottom line: the only way this is bad is if Shady flops and Kiko flips.

Here, here! Somebody with some sense. All the posters on here clamoring for Sanchez to be our QB remind me of the defenders of the oil refinery in The Road Warrior when they considered The Humungus' offer of "Give us the gasoline, and I spare your lives. Just walk away." to be believable & reasonable. Mark Sanchez is a washed-out, turnover machine. Keep him away from my Bills. Just sayin'.
