  1. What happens if EJ has a good game against the Jets this weekend? Does Whaley keep him and trade Tyrod? I think Doug is hoping EJ does good enough so that it justifies keeping him on the roster, thereby making Whaley look like he didn't waste a first round pick on him. Your thoughts?
  2. Oy! Rex is weak in the area of game management. Our defense has withered under him. If you compared him to every other HC in the league, how many would you rather have instead of him? Belichick? Reid? Payton? Think about it. There is probably only 6 or 7 head coaches I would not pick over Rex which means he is in the bottom quarter of coaches to me. That's not going to get you to the playoffs. Rex needs to go and he should take Russ, Doug, Rob, Dennis, and Tyrod with him.
  3. I wouldn't be lying if I said it wouldn't surprise me if we lost to the Browns. It would also be the cherry on the sundae of this season.
  4. I'm going. I live in SW Washington (about 3 hours away) so me and a co-worker (who is a Seahawks fan) are driving up there to watch the game. But first we're stopping to see the Jimi Hendrix memorial in Renton, WA and Bruce Lee's grave in Lakeview Cemetery.
  5. My prediction? 45-6 Pats with Dareus puking at halftime.
  6. I must admit, I feel like the Paytoilets will beat us 45-6 but I'm watching anyway. I'm sick of our team being Brady's B|tch. Release the Lorax and have him destroy Darth Brady.
  7. McCoy, Robey-Coleman, Felton (huge blocking for Shady), and The Lorax.
  8. He can tell him how to throw 5 INTs in a Super Bowl.
  9. I watched the entire game (even though I was gonna skip it, I work night shift) and would have to say my game balls go to the entire coaching staff, Tyrod Taylor, the O-line, the D-line, and lastly...Robert Woods. He had a hell of a game.
  10. I predicted the Pats winning 35-3. Man, was I wrong. I don't think I've seen the Bills more ready for a game since the AFC Championship in 1990 against Oakland. Very impressive win.
  11. The problem is not which QB the Pats are gonna start. The problem is which Tyrod Taylor is gonna show up. In case you haven't noticed, New England's defense is pretty damn good.
  12. I understand when people are saying take the points or you'll lose the momentum but a FG is not an automatic thing. Look at Carp: he missed another PAT. The Cardinals botched the snap on the FG try and it resulted in a 10 point swing.
  13. Our first points of the game came on our third possession. Our defense had already forced 3 & outs on Arizona's first two possessions and could be counted on to hold them if our offense failed to punch it in. Would you have gone for it on 4th & goal from the 1 and made a statement? Given the situation, absolutely go for it. What say you?
  14. We're gonna have our asses handed to us so many times this year, we're gonna have forearms like Popeye.
  15. This one's easy. My dad & I were at the '92 Wildcard game vs Houston, aka The Comeback. I'll never forget it. A close second would be the '90 home finale vs Miami. Kelly was out and Reich stepped up with a lot of help from Thurman to help win the East title. I saw one of the goal post uprights being tossed over the top of the visitor side upper deck. Crazy!
  16. I want some flapjacks!
  17. The Sabres ship is certainly righted. We are currently 2nd to last in the conference with a 14-16-4 record. That is awesome. Let's hope we get the same success with the Bills.
  18. None of the teams do. I honestly believe that if New England never had Tom Brady, the Bills may have went to the playoffs once, maybe twice in this millennium based on their drafting, coaches, and performance of the division opponents. This team has reeked for a while and for good reason.
  19. I have nothing to add. The previous comments pretty much sum up my feelings.
  20. I'm still twisted pissed about losing to Jacksonville. I think Houston beats us, Rex loses the teams' trust, and the fans lose their patience. I'd like us to win out, make the playoffs, and win the Super Bowl but I just don't see it happening this year or with this coaching staff.
