  1. Here's a question for you that might cheer us all up... What's it like to have a real QB on your team?
  2. I was employed as a DJ at Club Diamond Dust on SW corner of Genesee & Transit (now called Buffalo Scores) and decided to go to the game after it was blacked out. I went with my dad, one of the dancers from the club named Cheri (who was friends with Jeff Wright; he went to the club quite often), and her 12 yr old nephew. We almost left the game after the 3rd quarter pick-6 by Houston but decided to stay because by the time Cheri came back from her trip to the bathroom at halftime, we had just scored our second TD. What a f-ing game! Plus, we were sitting near the corner on the scoreboard end, visitor's side, where most of the action was happening.
  3. I don't care anymore. I'll watch them on draft day.
  4. You're talking about one player that was in on what, 30 plays a game? My wife actually watched today's game with me for a change and at halftime she asked me, "Why do their players look bigger than ours, on offense and defense?" From the mouth of babes...
  5. That was the worst game I've seen from you in many years. Good thing we were at home and had 10 days to prepare or it could've been worse. McDermott just had his post game press conference and he said "We need to hit the reset button." You think? Maybe hit the bottle, while you're at it. So things definitely need to change. For starters, start Peterman. Second, start playing a 4-3 defense because whatever they're putting out there now is not working. Lastly, go with a pass happy offense. The running game is not working and our receivers may actually be better than our RBs. You know, Shady and (gasp) Tolbert.
  6. This, please! I'm done with Tyrod, completely. If it wasn't for his scrambling, he would really suck. We aren't going to the playoffs this year if he keeps starting.
  7. I was at The Comeback game in Jan. 1993 with my dad and a stripper (I used to DJ at Club Diamond Dust and she was a Jeff Wright fan) and should pick this one as my favorite, but I'm going to pick the Miami game, week 16 in 1990 (https://www.pro-football-reference.com/boxscores/199012230buf.htm). Frank Reich was the starter, we won the AFC East after that game, and the crowd rushed the field and started tearing down the goal posts on the tunnel end, which is where I was seated. I'll never forget seeing one of the uprights make its way to the top of the visitor's side upper deck by the time I made it out to the parking lot. Pure insanity!
  8. This game made my eyes, stomach, and scrotum hurt. It was that bad. We haven't looked this bad on prime time since our last game on prime time.
  9. I'm guessing they want to give his knee some rest. We'll need him to be as healthy as possible for our playoff run.

  11. 4 receptions on 4 targets for 104 yards with a long of 43. I'd take that two more times this year.
  12. Everyone is missing the big picture here. Beane said no more moves today and yet he traded for a stud #1 WR. HE LIED TO US!
  13. Just for the record: I wish for Cordy Glenn to remain a Buffalo Bill and healthy. Neither one of those is up to me. If the Beane-meister feels he can make a big deal for him then so be it. I've been fine with most of the personnel moves so far so I'll keep trusting The Process®.
  14. Even if the Bills were interested in dealing Glenn and the Giants were willing to deal, I don't think it would get done before the deadline. With the trades Mr. Beane has pulled off so far, I think we would win either way. Glenn stays and starts or we gain additional draft capital and cap savings.
  15. This was posted from Mike Sando at ESPN. Sorry but it is an Insider article and requires membership. Timothy T. Ludwig-USA TODAY Sports 4hMike Sando Trades that should happen: Cordy Glenn to GiantsAcquiring Glenn would let the Giants move current left tackle Ereck Flowers to the right side, while the Bills might prefer the Giants as a trading partner due to New York's poor record this season. Your thoughts? Update: found it. https://www.usatoday.com/story/sports/nfl/2017/10/30/nfl-trade-deadline-players-teams-larry-fitzgerald-chiefs-cowboys-steelers/812211001/
  16. Chris Hogan set for MRI after exiting Patriots' win with shoulder injury http://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/21217762/chris-hogan-new-england-patriots-mri-shoulder
  17. I've been watching the Bills since 1988 and I've never seen the team react like that, not even during the Super Bowl years. Hell, I was at The Comeback in Jan 1993 and didn't see the team react like that. This camaraderie is at a whole new level and I love it!
  18. Dareus had his best season in 2014, not because of Marrone, but because a younger, healthier, more motivated (i.e., pre-outrageous contract) version of him was being used properly by DC Jim Schwartz. Good luck reproducing that in Jax. All he is gonna do is be a rotational player who winds up pissing off the other D-linemen with the same garbage. Just watch.
  19. My 2¢. Racism does/still exists in this country. There are people who overreact to it and others that are insensitive to it. White privilege also does/still exists in this country. Trying to explain white privilege to a white person is like trying to explain water to a fish. As far as protesting peacefully at the game, I have no problem with it. Nobody is getting hurt, nothing is getting vandalized, and attention is being brought to the protester's cause, which happens to be racial inequality in this country. If the players are discouraged from protesting 'at their job' or 'on working time', then I guess that makes every union strike wrong. This opinion was brought to you by a born and raised 'white guy'.
  20. We're done. If we can't win this game....
  21. We deserve to lose this game. Missed field goal is one thing; not kicking for 3 before halftime was horrible. No pass rush. We couldn't cover Mike Evans if he was sleeping. No playoffs. Again.
  22. Has Dareus done anything today?
