  1. When you worked in the front office for an NFL team, did you make any "head scratching moves," or did every move you made brilliant from a strategic and financial perspective?
  2. If Sammy was a Canadian, would he NEVER get hurt or miss a game due to injury?
  3. He might want a classier, more upscale fanbase to play in front of. Can't say I blame him.
  4. But what if he HAD said it. That was the question I asked.
  5. Just curious, if Kyle Williams had said this, would people still be mad?
  6. He's a WR and the fans want more of them brought in after losing out on Maclin. What people don't realize is that, even if you bring him into camp, on a vet minimum deal, and he performs well enough through the pre-season to the point where he earns a roster spot and, ultimately, he fails again like he has in the past, then it will be a complete waste of time.
  7. The $10 million was sarcasm, my friend. Might I suggest using the little gray cells before responding next time?
  8. You know what, for your sake, I hope they sign him. In fact, I hope they sign him to a 1 year, $10 million deal "prove it" deal and he catches every pass thrown his way in TC and he has 10 TD catches in preseason. Then, after making the roster (once Philly Brown and Andre Holmes have been cut), he goes into the regular season and begins dropping passes and contributes ZERO to the passing game. What then?
  9. Doesn't matter. He's a name that people know and happens to be a WR. Art Monk could announce that he's considering making a comeback and you'd have people on here saying: "Why not? Bring him in, it can't hurt. Competition brings out the best in everyone. If he can't handle it, cut him. No risk."
  10. Who are you cutting to make room for him? What terms do you offer him on a contract?
  11. You'd take a flier on someone who's been let go from 2 teams in the last 2 years? Why, because there's a chance he might be "humbled" by this and will go onto have a Hall of Fame career with the Bills?
  12. I knew it was only a matter of time until someone made a thread about this.
  13. Here. http://www.patriotsnflofficialonline.com/Mike-Gillislee-Jersey Wear it with pride on Sundays.
  14. If it's hard to argue against, my suggestion would be to put your money where your mouth is and go apply for a Front Office job someplace, whether with the Bills, or any other team, and show us how you would get the top free agents to sign.
  15. Drafting Jake Long was a "great move?" They took a left tackle when they could have taken Matt Ryan 1st overall, while still signing Pennington to back him up. How many Super Bowls did Long lead the Dolphins to? Why couldn't he stick with teams for more than a season or 2 after leaving the Dolphins?
  16. Agree. I'm also reminded of fans who look back at the 2011 draft and think that JJ Watt would have the same impact here that he's had in Houston. Yet, they overlook the fact that Watt's first defensive coordinator in Houston, Wade Phillips, actually knew how to coach a 3-4 defense and knew how to use him, on the way to becoming, arguably, the best defensive player in the NFL over the last 5 or 6 years. If the Bills did take Watt, he would have had GEORGE EDWARDS as his defensive coordinator. Would anyone trust Edwards with Watt, given how bad the defense was under him? I sure wouldn't.
  17. @ChrisBrownBills - Report: Per Schefter, #Bills owners Terry and Kim Pegula are growing frustrated with what they perceive as a "lack of suitable free agent signings" from GM Brandon Beane that could immensely improve the roster. Word going around is that the Pegulas will hire #TwoBillsDrive member @ScottLaw in a consulting role with the responsibility of convincing top free agents to sign. The report also states that @ScottLaw will have the authority to offer a contract that would supersede any offer that GM Beane or HC Sean McDermott originally presented. Stay tuned for further details. #Fans Know Football More than the Front Office
  18. I would think that, a couple years back, most Bills fans would have gladly sold off half the team, in order to tank the 2013 season so that they could take Clowney.
  19. Expectations that would be necessary to appease this fanbase? I'd say: 35 points scored by the first team offense each game, 7 sacks per game from the first team defense per game, 14 points scored by the backups, 5 sacks from the backups and at least 3 interceptions from the first and second team defenses. Anything less than that and the season will be lost and the front page will be overrun with 2018 mock drafts.
  20. "If he's medically cleared a year from now, let Kyle walk and sign Fairley. In hindsight, Nix should have taken Fairley 3rd overall back in 2011 instead of Lazy Dareus." - Typical TBD fan response.
