Can Taven Bryan play QB?

Curry would be a tremendous addition. Exactly what we need up front. His pay day won’t be too big and will allow us to concentrate on DT and LB in the draft defensively
How do you know that?

I think we make a move with Indy. Browns will take a Qb and Giants will take Barkley. I just don't think there is a ton of top talent in the draft this year and it will motivate the Bills to make a trade. Not to mention what is looking to be a really weak class for qbs next year.
If they don't take a top QB this year, the fanbase will want to tank the season and hope that Jake Fromm declares.

I agree. I framed that statement specifically because there seem to be alot of people here that think we cant get players anywhere else but the draft and we should not move up for a legit QB because of that
What contract terms would you offer Curry, Star and Richardson? Moreover, if they were on the fence about signing, would you make an iron-clad GUARANTEE to them that you were going to trade up for Rosen, Darnold or Mayfield?

You really are a Troll arent you. To many tables???
If I'm going all in on a franchise QB, and I want to sign a DT with declining production, a WR who will want to be paid like a #2 and a DE who WON'T have Brandon Graham and Fletcher Cox commanding double teams to be "role players," then I would expect them to put up worthwhile production. Otherwise, it's just another failed, wasted free agent signing.

Maybe you should go read what McD said about this team and the preception they are further along than they really are. And rethink your Championship.
This Offseason is ALL about getting your future QB to build around.
So with the Capital it is going to take to make that happen you need Roll Players. And Vinny, Paul and Star both would be Role players now wouldnt they
If Curry is signed, how many sacks do you think he'll have? 10? 15? What about Star? Will he have 100 tackles for a loss and 10 sacks? Will Richardson become the AFC's next Antonio Brown in Daboll's offense?

Would we be allowed to sign him as a Role Player to help the DL if we move up in the draft??
Imagine Curry playing DE with Star "Declining Production Since 2014" Lotulelei at DT and Paul "Go from a Winner in Seattle to Buffalo" Richardson at WR. CHAMPIONSHIP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

There is much, much more to Mike White than your summarized sentence. It would behoove you to do a little background information on him....he’s a very intriguing prospect with a MLB quality fastball. I prefer Rudolph but I would take White with the Bills second 2nd rounder only because I don’t think he’ll last until the final pick of the 3rd round.
I do thank God you are not the one making decisions for this team.

“Team sources” also said that Cordy Glenn couldn’t play OT.
Teams throw out all sorts of misinformation about prospects.
To be clear, I am NOT saying that I know any scouts think of him as a 1st or 2nd round pick, but it would not surprise me given his arm, size and experience as a starter. Mike Mayock praises his knowledge of the game.
i would not use an anonymous quote posted on Walter Football as evidence of how the NFL views any player.
Whatever. I give up. SAVE US, MIKE WHITE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Again, projected by whom? Some NFL scouts may be a lot higher on White than the draft pundits. I am not saying that is necessarily the case, but it might very well be true.
" Team sources haven't been excited about him and say he is just a guy. They are grading White as a very late-rounder or undrafted free agent. They think he has good size and accuracy, sees the field pretty well, and is smart. They also believe, however, that his arm strength and below-average athleticism give him a ceiling as a third-string quarterback in the NFL."

Carson Wentz went to Freaking North Dakota State, Derek Carr went freaking Fresno State and Ben Roethlisberger is from freaking Miami of Ohio. Some small-school prospects do ok.
Hate to break it to you, but Wentz and Roethlisberger were projected to be high 1st round picks and Carr was projected to be a late 1st, early 2nd round pick. This Mike White is projected to be a mid to late rounder, at best, and possibly an undrafted free agent.
-
Is this what it's come down to with this fanbase? Are we so desperate for a QB that some nobody from freaking WESTERN KENTUCKY UNIVERSITY is seen as worth spending a 2nd round pick on?!?!!?!!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!!!!!?!? WHY!??!?!?!?! "Because Russell Wilson in the 3rd and Nick Foles in the 4th"!?!!??!!?!?!?!?!?!??!?!?!?!?!!?

If he's available in the 3rd or 4th round, sure.

With all the talent we traded last year, we better be moving up. I would certainly hope the reason we did those things was to assure we get the QB we want. I expect us to be drafting inside the top 5. I will be mad if we don’t actually.
-
If the Bills trade up into the top 4 for a QB, hopefully this DJ Chark will still be available in the 2nd round. Of course, that will depend on whether or not Beane gave up one of their 2018 2nd round picks to move up into the top 4.

Then we use NEXT YEAR'S DRAFT to gain more players, like I think the Process wants to play out.
You also don't include the emergence of skilled players, a la Eddie Yarborough.
Except in NEXT YEAR'S DRAFT, MAJBobby has us giving away a 1st AND a 2nd. Meaning, you have to sit there and wait until the 3rd round and hope and pray that a top player is still available by then.
Do you want to go through that? -
2 minutes ago, MAJBobby said:
Sure traded back
you wanted names I gave you names.
i can give three more as well because they are ROLE PLAYERS
If that's the way this plays out, where they give away the store for Rosen or Darnold, and those so-called "role players" are signed, this team will be lucky to get to .500 by the end of the season, let alone compete for another wild card spot.

WR- Paul Richardson
DT- Star Lotulelei
LB - Vander Esche from Boise in 3rd round
also the vets that hit the market in the post draft purge.
1.) WHY would Paul Richardson want to come here after spending his entire career playing for a winning team in Seattle?
2.) Lotulelei's production has been declining over the last few years and Kawaan Short has surpassed him as the best DT on that line. Would he come here simply because McDermott and Beane are here as well?
3.) In your proposed trade, you have us giving up our 2018 3rd. So, how could they draft Vander Esche in the 3rd? Did they trade MORE 2018 or 2019 picks to trade back into the 3rd?- 1

Sure want me to say the players. For the positions you listed??
Yes, please.

ROLE PLAYERS
like happens all over the league when you have elite QB play
And who might those role players be, exactly?
-
Just now, MAJBobby said:
Sure
i have Rosen and Darnold graded out the top two QBs in class and a drop from those two.
So if I would give up
2018 first
2018 first
2018 second
2018 3rd
2019 1st
2019 2nd
Glenn - or equivalent pick value (prolly another 2nd)
to get my 15 year QB which i think Rosen and Darnold are.
And just how do you expect to fill some of the gaping holes on this roster at WR, LB and DT in that scenario? By giving outrageous Malik Jackson-esque contracts to free agents for the next 2 years?

It’s ok to give up if you want. But I don’t really understand the premise. Why won’t the Bills be able to replace Kyle or Preston in FA and/or the draft? Did you know Jerel Worthy doesn’t play for the Bills?
Regarding Worthy, I wasn't aware that he was waived back in November. Then, it gets potentially worse, as you'd have Cedric Thornton as a possible starter next to Washington on the defensive line.

22 minutes ago, YoloinOhio said:
I’m confused by your delivery and overarching point. Why does the roster matter how it stands today on March 1st since it is not what it will be when the season begins, why does it have to look like the Rams or Eagles, and why can’t a playoff team decide to upgrade at QB by using extra resources that they purposefully acquired to do so?
I give up because I'm tired of arguing about this.
I hope the Bills trade up to #1 or #2 and they take either Rosen or Darnold. Then, we can watch as Preston Brown walks and Kyle retires and Beane is unable to get a decent LB and DT in free agency to replace them. Then, we can watch Rosen or Darnold throw 70 times a game because the defense, now consisting of a combination of Jerel Worthy and Adolphus Washington (or a lower tier, 2nd/3rd round DT) as your starting DTs and Matt Milano (or a lower tier 2nd/3rd round LB) as your starting MLB, will be getting gashed by the run over, and over, and over again.
Have fun, everyone!

With the 21st pick, in the 2018 NFL Draft, the Buffalo Bills select...Harrison Phillips. Defensive tackle, Stanford.
- Goodell
Um, this is interesting. I would have to think that the Bills could have gotten Harrison Phillips late in the 2nd or in the 3rd round.
- Mayock
Yeah, I don't get this either.
- LaCanfora
So, who plays QB? Another wasted, Whaley-type pick
- Howard Simon, Jeremy White, Mike Schopp, Jerry Sullivan
