More and more I’m wanting them to stay at 12 and take Jackson. There’s no reason he can’t be as good of a QB as any of the other QBs in this draft.

Are we back to this crap again? How many times are people going to invoke Kelly, Marino and Montana's college completion percentages as justification for taking Allen?

What I believe: that Beane doesn’t feel he has spent enough time yet with the QBs
What i don’t believe: that he doesn’t know yet whether he needs to move up based on his QBs rankings as of today
So, do you think it's possible that Beane and Gettleman are discussing a framework for a deal and, once Beane has gone through pre-draft visits and pro-days, then they'll look to get a firm commitment to trade up to #2?

It’s obvious to me the Bills brass does not value the RT position or the Mike LB position. Trust the process!!

The latest tweet from this Zambito guy is: "Joshua. James. Rosen."
-
For what it's worth, Newhouse was a guard in college at TCU. Perhaps he's a better fit for that position than at RT and maybe that's why he's being brought in?
-
Would it make people happier if Beane traded for Zack Martin and Tyron Smith instead? I get that Newhouse isn't very good, but some of these posts make it sound like he's the worst RT in the history of the NFL.

For any coach/GM team to last in this league, they need a franchise QB pretty quickly after they arrive. It's not McCarron...
Sounds like T-Bomb voted "yes"!

Yes trolls coming out now....a whooping 6%....you must be proud
Got it......OP was likely a diehard Whaley supporter!
Not proud at all. It just shows how fickle this fanbase can be at times. Last week, when they got a 1st for Cordy, Beane's a genius. Today, when the Jets get the 3rd pick, he's "asleep at the wheel."

6% of voters say "Yes"??????

I don't think so as by not making it public the user feels free to vote without negative backlash. Having said that, my bet is that Dunkirk guy and SaviorPeterman.
Doc, can I borrow the DeLorean to go 25 minutes back in time to make the poll public?

Is there any way to make it a public poll so we can see who voted yes? ?
Do you know how to edit threads that you started?? If you can tell me, i'd gladly make it public.

2 people voted yes?????????

Yes, he should be fired before he's even had 1 freaking draft with the Bills.
Especially after breaking that 17 year playoff drought.
If he hasn't landed his franchise QB 6 weeks before his first ever draft with the Bills, he should absolutely be fired!
Heres a better poll - how long will Buffalo Bills detective last at TBD before he's banned for trolling?
Would you mind conveying this to ScottLaw, gobilz and Klaista2k and everyone else who feels that the season is now lost?

No....This was a measured move by the Colts to get a bunch of extra selections AND stay in the top 6. They will get a blue chip NON QB at 6. There is someone up there that they like and wanted to stick around for....that is the ONLY REASON to make this deal today....they simply were not going to consider anyone outside the top 10 as a trading partner....again that is the ONLY reason to go ahead do this now, not 40 days from now.
Thank you, jeff.

For the record, this thread is being made as a result of the anger that posters have been saying since this morning in the Jets trade thread. Therefore, if the season is now truly lost and we have no shot at Rosen or Darnold, I am asking the question.

This is what happens when you play games. If you like one of these QBs you go up ASAP. Now another team will move up to 2 and block us out and we are !@#$ed. There is no reason to sit around waiting to move up. All we get is left with whatever guys are left. Go up to 1 or 2 regardless of cost, or just forget qb. Good for the Jets. I hate the jets more then any other team but they will be rewarded for actually getting it.
