Family Section at the Stadium?
haroldwaide replied to Bills Fan in MD's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I've been in the family section for years. Nothing too over the top for the most part. Great atmosphere in 226 and great comraderie. You won't be disappointed. -
Nice. We are in 226 row 3.youre gonna love it.

Section 105 is the family zone. Sections 224 through 227 are alcohol free. I have seats in 226 and haven't had a whole lot of issues over the years.

Anyone get a stadium focused group invite.
haroldwaide replied to Hammered a Lot's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I had been invited, but things came up and I had to tell them I couldn't make it, but was still very interested. I hope there are more planned in the future. -
The GAME when you knew the Bills HC wasn't the guy!

The 6-3 loss to the browns did it for me. I remember telling my wife in the third quarter that there was more action in the stands then on the field. By the 4th quarter, I was openly chanting for DJ to get fired... -
Just got a stadium survey from the Bills

Let's assume Pegulas pony up $250 million. This amount is matched by the league per the current CBA. The last set of renovations cost $130 million. If we added that figure in (financed the same way as before) we can build a very nice stadium without socking it to the everyday fans, or taxpayers a whole lot. -
No way. I love that team. I almost bought stock last time it was offered, but it was before Ralph passed and there were rumors/whispers circulating in various places that a similar situation could happen with the Bills. I opted to take a wait and see approach because the Bills staying in Buffalo was my number one priority. Seeing a game in Green Bay is definitely on my bucket list, but right now it is cost prohibitive, if not just plain impossible to find 6 seats together for my family and I. Someday though...

I chose OP as well, but I opted for a new build with some minor infrastructure improvements to ease traffic congestion. Build near the existing site, then tear down what we have, and use that space for the amphitheater, stores, or whatever else you want to add for fan experience. I'm not an engineer, but I've noticed some cracks in the cement of NEF and that raises some questions about it's viability long term. -
Pegulas mentioned by name in Eric Reid story

Tyrod was traded because he sucked. Whale was fired for multiple, work related failures. When will it be safe in America to fire Simone simplt because they suck without having to worry about how it changes people's percepruons?? As for free agents, the only color most of them worry about is green, and we have plenty of that. I don't see comments by Simone who WALKED OUT on representing them having much if an impact, if any. -
No brainer here. Renewing all six of my seats as soon as I get the info.

Maybe the team should move out of Buffalo?
haroldwaide replied to Jobot's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The only thing worse then rooting for the Bills in a down year, is not having anyone to root for at all. -
I disagree. What Nate Peterman needs most is a one way ticket out of town. One bad game can happen to anybody. Even Kelly had them when he first came here. I'm just tired of waiting for the lights to come on when Nate hasn't paid the electric bill since he got here.

I wonder if we could see this at New Era someday
haroldwaide replied to Just Jack's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Honestly, I don't know where they would put the 'll let's at NEF. If/when a new stadium is built they should definitely plan for this. -

Spray paint a Bills logo on his front lawn... -
Do you think the Jills will ever come back?
haroldwaide replied to Another Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Yeah...somehow I don't think that would fit the family image the Bills, and the entire NFL, are trying to project... -

Honestly, I don't need cheer leaders, OR a drumline to enjoy the games at the stadium. Or most of the other stuff that passes for "in game entertainment" these days. When I first started going to games they didn't have the jumbotron. They had a scoreboard that showed game information and the occasional black and yellow replay. Fans had to pay attention or they would miss something so they were much more involved in the game. (and louder because of it). Maybe the NFL should think about the weekend teams wear their throwback jerseys REALLY being a throwback type game without all the extra in stadium nonsense. I'd love to see it happen.
