  1. HINT: You helped make my point. You don't have to be a good player to be a good coach, ie: Belichek. I never argued PAlmer is a good coach. I myself, like everyone on this board, have no clue what type of coach he is. Just because he is not coaching on a team at any level doesn't prove a damn thing. Maybe he enjoys running his own company, not spending 20 hrs a day coaching/preparing, etc... Hell, he probably makes more money coaching players in the off-season than he would as a QB coach for an NFL team.
  2. My guess is this won't happen right away, if it ever does. He's retiring to be able to spend time with his family. I would think that coaching is much more demanding of time than playing.
  3. So how was Belicheks pro football career as a player? Oh that's right he never played pro football cause he wasn't any good in college. Being a good player has nothing to do with coaching ability.
  4. That's exactly my point... or even Joe blow coach at UNLV, etc...
  5. The problem here is that the NCAA will most likely revoke these players eligibility. So it comes down to a major decision, college or this league that is brand new. More than likely the blue chips will continue to go to college and those that aren't picked up by colleges will try their luck in this league.
  6. If I was the guy who played the sounds at the stadium, I'd honk that damn thing all the time for people like you that complain about a damn sound effect.
  7. Pat's are infamous for screwing with the injury reports
  8. The patella is the knee cap, it has nothing to do with the LCL, MCL, or ACL. Although it can be dislocated, the more serious dislocation that I think you are referencing is the femur being dislocated from the tibia. This dislocation does involve those ligaments as they are what connect and stabilize these bones.
  9. I'm not saying the guy is outstanding, but overall he has been a solid receiver this season. He doesn't always have tons of yards, but has made some nice catches when we needed a play.
  10. Just like this board. Someone has a bad game and he sucks, then they have a good game and everyone loves him. Now he has a bad game and the board is bashing him again
  11. Had a bad game, but he's been solid overall this season
  12. I'd love to ask Kaepernick who had "priveledge" here.
  13. I've played WR (just high school) as well as outfield in softball. Not only do you not want to watch the ball the entire time, you don't put your hands/glove out to early either, as both will slow you down. Tracking a ball that's directly behind you and making that over the shoulder catch is one of the most difficult catches to make. This is because you can typically follow the ball until a certain point where it enters a blind spot, which is right before it hits your hands. The football helmet usually makes the blind spot even worse. So you have to have the timing to reach out at the perfect time to make the catch. Some people are naturally able to glance at the ball when its first thrown/hit and able to track it immediately. So the idea is, see the ball and make that determination immediately and get "on your horse" to the get to the spot. Foster ideally would have looked back after his break to see Josh throw it and then ran to the spot. As he got closer he could then look back to begin making his adjustment if he needs to slow or is able to run through it. On this pass I think it was a combo of an over throw and running with his head turned too long. He had his man beat from the break, so Josh could have thrown it a second earlier and it wouldn't of needed to be such a long throw. Or possibly put more air on the ball to allow the WR more adjustment time. Losman's bombs to Evans were a perfect example of putting plenty of air under them which allowed Lee to adjust and run through the catch.
  14. Just posing a question... what's morally worse? Brutally torturing and killing dogs for entertainment or what Hunt was caught doing?
  15. Should of made this a poll. I haven't been to that site since they removed the board. They shut that ***** down like Art Modell did the Browns.
  16. I'm guessing that was for a video game? Looks one of the dances from Fortnite where he's making the L on his forehead.
  17. Nah, I just care more about reaching the playoffs than justice served that won't affect us going forward
  18. Hopefully he gets his suspension relieved because we need the Jags to beat the Colts to help any sort of playoff chances.
  19. Its a common acronym that has been used by law enforcement for years If you pause the video around the 33 to 34 second mark you can see beer splashing out. edit - Actually I the video posted is too small. The one I posted in the thread yesterday is big enough to see it.
  20. Hockey is an entire different culture. I didn't grow up in a hockey town, but the whole reason people looked forward to go see the semi-pro team here was the fights. Its inherently part of the sport, especially when the refs dont break up a fight until it hits the ground.
  21. So if you're attacked and you fight back, you are guilty of assault???
  22. Was he meaning Bruce Jenner? Cause who the hell is Bruce Kardashian?
  23. Fournette got what he deserved for taunting the crowd. What I don't understand is how you argue that the fan should be arrested for assault, but Fournette shouldn't be for assaulting Shaq. I would argue that a bare handed punch can have far more consequences than a half-full beer (You can see it spalsh everywhere if you pause the video which proves it wasn't unopened and full).
