My Allen jersey is my slump buster. I’m also not a huge I’d consider maybe going Tasked full time and peppering in Allen?

Some years I do. Some I don’t. I am in tech sales and was recently part of some

large layoffs. Not a huge deal but there are some horror stories going on in tech right now about how difficult it is to find work. $100 for a new jersey can be done, it’s not the most responsible of decisions at the moment.

Ouch, sorry to hear. However, I've never been one to buy legit jerseys. Ive bought from China for years at $20 a jersey.

  2. I was watching the bears broadcast too on NFL+. I wasn't paying attention during the breaks so I didn't hear. Although, I don't think it's a surprise to anyone if this is true. Allen has been garbage against 2s, 3s, and players that will be on the couch with the rest of us soon. He had one good throw, the TD to Morris. Everything else was an overthrow or off target.

Beane needs to go shopping for a competent backup. Too bad Fitz isn't willing to play a year on the bench.

So do they still donate to charity for these or did they drop the charity part now?

Also are every other team's little people generic non specific players? They all have double 00 as their numbers except the Bills who have Allen, Knox, and Von Miller.

They must of only had certain players that signed with them on this. I saw Burrow & Chase, Mahommes & Kelce, Hurts & Brown, Dak & Parsons, Kittle & Deebo, Watt & Harris

Another interesting rule difference in the XFL is extra points. No more kicking for one. You have to score a TD from 2 yards out for 1 point, 5 yards for 2, or from 10 yards for 3.

So kicker is basically a wasted roster spot?

Yeah right; he's an ex-college football player who didn't have the skill to get to the next level.

Any idea how many classes he actually attended?  Any idea of his grades?  Did he graduate with a degree?

Ever listen to him speak in a live interaction setting where he is not delivering off-the-shelf phrases and prepared answers?

If you are suggesting he could have done anything with his intellect, I have to disagree with you.

And by the way, I don't particularly like McDermott as our coach or as an individual; he's totally NOT my kind of guy.

So there is probably some anti-McClappington stuff coming out in almost any of my posts concerning him.

    It's called bias.

    😂

Anyway, if you think the collective coaching body of the NFL is a bunch of really smart guys, you're mistaken.

This is one reason why BB reigns supreme over all of theme; he's actually smart.

McDaniel is an ex-college football player that couldn't make it at the next level. He's also considered to be the biggest nerd of these new football coaches that you speak of. Guess what? Kyle Shanahan and Mcvay both were as well.

Your view of McDermott is just biased with your dislike of his personality.

No it’s not. His 1st round picks are Tre White, Josh Allen, Tremaine Edmunds, Ed Oliver, Gregg Rousseau, Kaiir Elam.

All but Elam had major roles as rookies. Oliver lost his starting position to Jordan Phillips as the year went on but was still a major part of the defense. Phillips was just playing out of his mind that year.

So his history is 1/6 1st round picks not having a major role as a rookie. Elam probably doesn’t start much at all if it weren’t for injuries.

I didn't say 1st rd picks. I said rookies. Tre and Tremaine were the only ones in your list that was put in and a full time starter. And that's cause there wasn't another legitimate choice. Allen who was prematurely put in.

Oliver, Rousseau, Basham, Epenesa, and more were not full time starters. They were platoon players that had to earn more snaps as their rookie years went on.

McDermott is not starting Kincaid over Knox on day 1 barring injury. Kincaid will have to earn his playing time. That's just how McDermott coaches unless he has no choice.

Want some thoughts on projection of numbers on our number one pick. I am bullish on him for some obvious reasons, and admittedly some homerish reasons as well.

    750 yards

    8 touchdowns

Any one want to take an early June shot at this?

Idk... McDermott has a history of slow rolling rookies. I would hesitate to say he has more than 500 yds and a few TDs his rookie year. I don't expect Kincaid to have a meaningful impact this year.

    I hope I'm wrong, but that's Mcd's history.

Space eaters don't command the same salary as the guys with the numbers
