  1. IMO McDermott is more like Marvin Lewis and Marty Schottenheimer. Good coaches that can only take their teams so far. He’s done a great job turning the franchise around but does anyone have any confidence in him to make the right decisions in a close game against a quality opponent? His list of ways to give away games compared to quality wins isn’t even close. The Baltimore playoff game is probably his best big game win and that was with a hurt Lamar during half the game. Does anyone see this team going 5-0 or 4-1 the rest of the season? They haven’t won more than two games in a row all season. They are just as likely to finish 8-9 as they are 10-7. Nice guy but his time has run its course.
  2. It’s been the one consistent reoccurring theme under McDermott since the Houston playoff loss. Nice guy but he’s had his time and he continues to squander the opportunities over and over again. I see zero growth and learning from him. It’s time for someone else. Otherwise I fear we’re looking at Marvin Lewis/Marty Schottenheimer led teams. Heck even Philly moved on from Andy Reid when he couldn’t get them over the hump.
  3. Yea that wasn’t pass interference! This is getting ridiculous. Call it both ways is all I ask!
  4. Not even a replay to see the phantom call?
  5. Good stop by the D, Shakir needs to quit dancing and get upfield on the punt returns. Okay Buffalo let’s go get another TD!
  6. Amazing the refs didn’t call a penalty the last two plays. TD BUFFALO!!!!
  7. That’s just an absolute horseshit call for holding!
  8. Nice now let’s get 7 Buffalo!!!!!!
  9. Ugh Josh had a wide open field to run on that short 3rd down throw.
  10. KC is 7-3 with two recent SB victories and a shoe in to win their division again.
  11. I love the Bills but this season has been one of my least enjoyable. During the drought your expectations were so low it felt different and didn’t matter as much. They are a team that can beat anyone when they are on. However, the ongoing lack of consistency, execution and self inflicted mistakes combined with bad coaching is so unacceptable and keeps reoccurring. Knowing how bad the losses to NYJ, NE and Denver were and now its a strong possibility they don’t even make the playoffs. I just feel numb and have no clue which team is going to show up.
  12. Bills blow an easy TD, now can’t get off the field on D. Philly driving for a likely TD.
  13. Yea discipline, poise and execution has been missing all season!
  14. That last series is a great example why this team is 6-5 and swimming uphill to make the playoffs.
  15. Barring a train wreck in Miami they’ll win the division and have a home playoff game. They took care of business against NYJ and NE while we couldn’t get out of our own way. Yes I’d love us to win out and beat MIA to win the division but we haven’t been consistent all year. Hoping we can win enough to get into the playoffs.
  16. Heck right now we’re fighting just to ensure we get the 7th seed!
  17. Isn’t it more KC jumped up to get him and surprised Buffalo so then Beane overreached to move up to get Elam?
  18. The formula is also greatly aided when the Bills protect the ball. Losses to NYJ, NE and Den are great examples! Make stupid turnovers and you lose to teams you have no business losing to and get your OC canned.
  19. I’d add yet another game where Von was a non factor. Honestly at this point he’s taking snaps from more productive players. He’s not close to ready and I’m not sure why they keep putting him out there.
  20. Gotta beat NE, Chargers and then at least get two more at the minimum out of Philly, KC, Dallas and Miami. Even at 10-7 I worry about us losing to tiebreakers. Lose to Philly and KC and the playoffs maybe unreachable with literally giving games away against NYJ, NE and Denver.
  21. Pitt, Houston and Cleveland have fairly easy schedules coming down the stretch.
  22. Losing to them last year should have given McDermott a blueprint opening night! The staff did nothing in the 2nd half to adjust to what they were doing.
  23. Nice win but still beyond bitter about the losses to NYJ, NE and Den. Makes me still want to vomit as the Bills literally gave those games away. Hopefully they can make a run but they are squarely behind the eight ball. Now let’s go beat Philly!
  24. I could certainly see the Bills drafting the punter from Iowa. (Tory Taylor) Outside of Morse who will likely retire, the OL is much better. RB will just be Cook remaining. IMO, WR, S, C are big positions of need. Depth at DE, DT, LB The coaching staff gets really intriguing. Does McDermott get fired. No way they run it back with him as the DC. Who are potential DC candidates? Who are potential candidates for the OC? Does McDermott let the coordinators put their own stamp on things? If McDermott is back he needs to be mentoring with proven successful head coaches. The most frustrating thing is we are seeing ZERO growth or accountability from him. That’s extremely troubling for anyone in a leadership position!
  25. With Dorsey relieved as the OC, Brady will now audition for the role, but barring this team valuing the ball I don’t anticipate much changing this season. It’s more likely they have a losing record than a winning record when the season concludes. McDermott and Beane will need to select an OC and DC which will be critical hires. McDermott is and should be on the hot seat. His teams under his leadership are outcoached, unprepared, undisciplined and continue to find new games to lose they have no busy losing. Big changes coming on D! YTD, Von has ONE tackle and an assist. Honestly, I don’t see why he’s even active on game days. Big cap hit if released but his game looks down. SECONDARY: Tre, Poyer and Hyde likely gone. That leaves Rapp, Benford, Douglas, Elam, Jackson and Johnson. Will need to add a safety. LB: Milano, Bernard and D Williams. Need to add LB depth DL: Gotta get DQ and AJE resigned. Ed, Groot and I’d resign L Joseph. Most likely moving on from Settle and Phillips. Punter: Martin probably won’t be back Offensively: Don’t expect Morse to be back. Will need a center. Most importantly will need to upgrade the WR with additional playmakers. Josh needs to spend the offseason working on fundamentals and improving his craft. Will be a defining offseason for Beane and McDermott. They squandered three seasons in a row now!
