  1. Indy is looking really good. If they stay healthy, they’ll be a tough out. Baltimore is legitimately looking at 1-5 as they have the Rams next week. Gonna be a tough year for the Jets. I still think KC wins the AFCW. Don’t trust the Chargers nor Denver. MIA struggling vs Carolina. With how bad LV, CLE and TN are, makes you question, Crosby, Garrett and Simmons wanting to stay with their teams and why those teams didn’t move them for additional assets.
  2. Hopefully the Bills O can light up the scoreboard taking pressure off the D!
  3. That really sucks about Strong! With Hairston and Strong out for probably the next month at minimum, our Secondary is super thin. Assuming with Logue and Ciarlo playing, that means no Oliver. With Dorian out and Milano not 100%, that means in Shaq and Bernard with a significant drop off behind them. It’s so frustrating how many assets we continue to spend on the D, with minimal impact players and constant injuries. If they can get the W against the Patriots, the game against ATL is looking more and more difficult.
  4. As I was watching last night games, I kept thinking could the Bills win against LA if they were in the same situation as San Fran with so many starters out. Saleh struggled as the HC of the Jets but has typically had a strong Defense. San Fran DL was disruptive and it’s something I keep hoping to see from our DL. I want to see our DL or D for that matter feast against inferior teams. I was surprised by how they kept the Rams offense in check for the most part. Big win for the Niners.
  5. Agree, I think we’ll see Hairston around mid November if all goes well. From the small sample of videos posted, no way is he close to being able to run with a WR and tackle RB’s.
  6. Agree. My point is for all the playing time he’s gotten, you’d like to see it show up on the stat sheet for our 2nd round pick. I’m certainly not anti-Sanders and rooting for him.
  7. I want that to be true but it’s certainly not showing up in the stats. He has one tackle for all the playing time he’s had thus far. Jordan Phillips, who was just called up and played in one game, has the same amount. Walker on the other hand has made a noticeable difference and impact with similar playing time.
  8. With how we draft in the 2nd round, I’d easily give up a 2nd knowing we’d have an absolute beast on the DL to pair up w Oliver, Bosa, Groot. Add in Hoecht along w Sanders and Walker developing.
  9. I’d run to the phone if we could get Jeffrey Simmons for a 2nd round pick!
  10. I believe so but I highly doubt the window opens in the next two weeks for Hairston. I don’t know details but obviously he had a pretty significant injury.
  11. Hoping at minimum Ed and Brown are back this week. Let Milano get fully healthy.
  12. Yes it’s still VERY early in the season and Baltimore is sitting at 1-3 with a ridiculous amount of injuries including Lamar who “may” miss 2-3 games. They have Houston who’s 1-3 as well this week fighting for survival and the Rams the following week. They seriously could be looking at missing the playoffs if they were to lose these next two games. That would forecast them around 9-8 or 10-7 barring a hot streak. Things could quickly unravel. With Indy, Jax, Pitt, Chargers, KC and Denver, they could seriously miss the playoffs!
  13. It will be interesting to see if Sanders snap counts go down once they have their full group (Jones, Ed, Oji, Walker) back.
  14. When Hoecht is back, I wonder if Solomon will be released?
  15. It’s early, but trading up for Sanders in the 2nd and then selecting Landon in the 3rd are not looking like good picks. Hopefully, a light bulb turns on for both soon.
  16. Interesting D stats thru 4 games: Top 3 leading tacklers are Benford, Bishop and Tre. That can’t be good. Zero INTS by our CB’s Walker having a very solid year thus far as a rookie. Sanders not so much. Daquon Jones and Bosa tied with two sacks each for the most sacks thus far. That equates to 8.5 sacks each for the year.
  17. Cam Lewis missed a wide open tackle on the 3rd and 7. Solomon whiffed on the next Rattler scramble. In the TD, Taron Johnson is in position and whiffed, Taylor Rapp then whiffs again and finally Tre was the last resort but was being blocked. Not sure what our LB’s were doing. Also, they are at the 18 yard line so why is our S playing 16 yards deep at the snap? That first drive highlighted how atrocious the tackling was. They could have /should have easily gotten off the field on 3rd and 7. What is extremely disappointing, is these are experienced players making crucial mistakes. I believe we could understand if our rookies were struggling. On Sunday, I saw way too many substitutions that resulted in the D not being set. In addition, New Orleans was purposely playing with pace offensively and yet we didn’t adjust. This resulted in multiple timeouts that were used by the defense.
  18. True, but we’re talking about Sanders, Walker and Bishop being the younger players. We have a plethra of experience players on D who have continued struggling with tackling and being out of position. Was really frustrating is this isn’t a new scheme so it’s concerning that’s it’s an ongoing problem with gap assignments, poor tackling with an ineffective pass rush. IMO, the Bills substitute defensively way too much on the DL and we rely too heavily on straight bull rushing which isn’t a strength for many on our DL.
  19. Two after last night! 😀
  20. Q2 focus moves to NE, ATL, Carolina and KC. Can they go 4-0? If so, they’ll need to get tighter on D as ATL and KC have formidable offenses. With the way our D has played and at times when our O can get stagnant, they can’t sleepwalk against NE or Carolina. Keep stacking wins and take care of business! A win against NE would move the Bills to 3-0 within the AFCE and dang near seal another AFCE title barring something bizarre happening. ATL on the road, who have an arsenal of offensive weapons with a mobile QB, won’t be easy! There will be plenty of BillsMafia at the game. Then on to Carolina, where the Bills can’t stumble where BillsMafia will be out in full force yet again. Lastly, we close out Q2 with KC at home. Nothing more needs to be said for this game! Getting to 4-0 in Q2, is certainly doable but won’t be easy. 2-2 would be disappointing. But to get to 4-0, tackling has to significantly improve on the D! LETS GO BUFFALO!
  21. Jets are fighting with TN for that spot!
  22. Heck of a catch by Wilson! Jets looking at 0-6 with a loss tonight as they have Dallas and Denver upcoming. Things could get ugly in New Jersey!
  23. They are certainly a passing offense. Do they even have a RB? All four of the teams tonight look unimpressive. Jets are gonna need to draft a QB and hope they hit.
