  1. yeah, russia and france... theres no terrorism there now is there... but i think most terrorists are muslum cus they are often willing to die for what they believe in. no matter how f**ked up it is. most other people in other religions are only willing to kill for what they believe in.... i dont think that came out right.....
  2. http://www.cnn.com/2004/US/South/08/10/pipe.bombs/index.html
  3. i didnt want this to be political, but the first post that responded to my initial post, compared these pipe bombs to WMDs in Iraq. sorry it went off on a tangent after that... to get back to my main point. I was saying that cus he is white hes "just curious". but if he was of middle eastern background, he would be a terrorist. also, someone posted "if its at his house its no big deal, but if he was walking down the street with a bomb its a diffrent story..." they found this guy, cus he was in a hit and run accident, and he had 6 bombs in his car. also, there is a HUGE diffrence between M80s and a PIPE BOMB. one causes a large bang, the other sends metal shards outward in an attempt to harm as many people as possable. and even if your curious, why would you make 15 of them?? or be driving around with 6 in your car??
  4. and those poor starving ethiopians....
  5. well when the president tells me they have nukes, and all we find is pipe bombs, im alittle upset. but a highschool kid with 15 pipe bombs in his room, down the street form me, in NC, USA, it gets my attention. we all know a pipe bomb is not a nuke, but he was going to kill several students. what else could you call it.
  6. ok, a few weeks ago, a kid was arrested with 15 pipe bombs found in his room just 3 days befor the first day of school. (highschool kid). here in Apex, NC. they charged him with weapons of mass destruction. i think it was mentioned on this site..... but i live in apex, and im getting pissed. ok, its not that im mad over him having the bombs... but i am mad about all the dumb people saying "he was just curious". if you dont know, it was a white kid. now if his name was muhommed or some other arabic name, they would have the CIA and be interagating this guy for months. but cus hes just a white kid, he was just CURIOUS???? there are alot of people "supporting" this little terrorist!!!!!! he was going to blow up his school the first day of classes. and they want to just let him go. doest this seem strange to any of you??? sorry its OT
  7. last i looked it was following Fran's path. right to wilmington, NC. hell if it doest hit NC, i might get a few days off work. and monday is a holiday too...
  8. why should he give it back?? it was a signing bonus. he signed and played. he was there work horse for 2 years. just cus he retired, doesnt mean he shoudl give it all back. it just means the team wont pay him the rest of his money. i figure, if the team can cut you with no warning to avoid paying you a few mil in bonuses, than you can retire and leave when you want to. and there is no WAY IN HELL they will get his bonus money he got from the SAINTS!!!!!
  9. ooooo, PANTS.. i thaught you said panties...
  10. i think at 6pm EST. i saw yesterday they would be previewing teh bils training camp on sports center today...
  11. brown had a shot at KR, but screwed that all up. i would like to see peters on the practice squad though.
  12. i live in NC. and i know it will miss florida and come strait at me. its following Frans path. its fine with me, its set to hit sometime monday. i could use a few days off from work...
  13. i saw it. he made it look easy. they showed a slow motion replay. Brown didnt even slow down. but i would like to see if he could do that in the regular season. i dont think the starters really take the preseason seriously. kinda lacking in fundamentals. like how to tackle.
  14. the topic: "compare war time service" but your trying to compare what bush is doing now, to what Kerry did 30 years ago. diffrent times, and diffrent wars. to say ALL kerry did was drive a little boat in vietnam is just crazy. then to say.."but bush was in the national gaurd they both served their country". yes they both served their country, and the national gaurd is important, but i think being in a forien nation and getting shot at, and earning 3 purple hearts and a silver star, while Bush takes a few months RR, kinda tip the scales a little. ok, that said... i DO like how we invaded iraq, we thaught they had nukes (or going to get them), and i dont think you want to wait untill the missles are in the air to mobalize your forces. he acted on intel he had. we should be looking in to how we got that intel and where it came from, not the actions as a result of it. our military is over extended and more troops are needed in afganistan and Iraq. if those "piece first" countries wont send troops, than what good are they as allies??? our policies over there are not strict enouph for the job. any man standing on a US truck with a gun cheering cus he just killed an american should be shot on site. i dont see why we just take pictures and pull back??? we are trying to be "the nice little country who is there to help" that we wont do what is needed. drill some wells, build some schools, but negotiating with rebels is unacceptable, even if you say "the iraqi police made the negotiations", we were the ones there, we just didnt want to see a bunch of dead people on CNN. I DO NOT think that by electing Kerry, france and all those "piece first countries" (which i really really HATE!!!!) will not just jump up and say there our friends. i say to hell with them anyways. what was i talking about agian....
  15. Thomas played with a cast on. so can Lawyer. hell, after a few shots from teh doctors, he will be good to go. if not, Wire can come in for min.
  16. 1) hes not "slash" anymore, and will NOT play any position other than QB. 2) hes VARY inaccurate, but i would rather have him than zolman. 3) a 1 year contract is fine with me, and if he gets cut than hell just be happy to sign somewhere. dont know if these are good, or bad points..... but just to add to the conversation.
  17. if we had to just bring Wire back to SS. thats where he should be anyways.
  18. a first rounder for Carter.... lol i havent lauphed that hard in a while.
  19. early Sunday morning when their black 1992 Chevrolet Z-71 pickup hit a curb near a telephone pole. Brohm, partially outside the window at the time, was decapitated by a guide wire on the telephone pole, according to police, who recovered his head at the Rosen site. "Alcohol is believed to be a contributing factor," police said.
  20. http://story.news.yahoo.com/news?tmpl=stor...decapitation_dc just how drunk was this guy...
  21. The release of Douglas will save the Jaguars considerable money. Douglas would've earned a $3.345 million salary this season. His salary cap hit would've been $4.545 million but is now reduced to $1.2 million of prorated bonus amortization. The remainder of Douglas' bonus amortization following this season, $3.6 million, will be charged to the Jaguars' 2005 salary cap.
  22. i seem to remember us going in to last season with only 2 QBs, and morris was set to go in if both of them got hurt. so who will it be this year?? we have to have a guy who played QB in college. just wondering cus im bored....
  23. so lawyer has a broken arm. i heard somewhere he might be back for the regular season opener???? come on, 2 weeks for a broken arm. i did see thomas out there with a cast on pull a bo jackson after the TD ...nice... i would rather have wire in at SS than Puleliu (sp).
  24. well, whoever was at our Left OT, didnt play well at all. and i saw williams pushed back in to bledsoe a few times. and on one of the sacks, both OTs missed there man, and get bledsoe killed. i did see williams down field on that long run , but i think by then they had a few backup in.
