you should not project sacks or INTs. but he has done a very good job. i hope next season, when Spikes is back, we can cut Posey and move Crowell over to the other side. when he was drafted, the one thing everyone said about him was that he was a tackleing machine. im glad he has this oportunity to show what he can do.

I think JP gives us a good chance to win now.
ch19079 replied to Fan in San Diego's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
holcomb is playing well. and MUCH better than JP. how many yards a game did JP average? was it 80 or so. yeah. if we go with JP now, we are trashing our season. and with the pats lossing, its far from over. -
Holcomb has been playing well. much better than JP was. it would be stupid to start JP now. with the pats loosing, we are not out of it yet. and i will also say, !@#$ orton. he is below average at best. the only reason why people like this guy is because the guy who used to be their QB is also a BUM. why bench Holcomb when hes playing well?

Looking at schedule for Pats, Fins, Bills, Jets
ch19079 replied to PromoTheRobot's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
i think the Pats have it he easiest. the Bills have it the hardest. the fins are in the middle. -
Manning makes their 3rd WR look great. Harrison is a very good WR, doesnt talk trash, a real class act. but i hate to say it, but TO and or Moss are better. but i would take Harrison over eather of those 2 guys any day.

OL Shuffle - Big Mike in the Middle
ch19079 replied to nick in* england's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Peters has played well at OT. i dont think its as much a knock on williams as it is a good thing for peters. i would like to see our highest cap hit player play LOT insted of OG but whatever helps our O line. -
i liked him when he entered the draft. him and the other TE that came in at the same time. i was sad that neather find their way to the bills.
-
the colts should wear a sticker on thier helmets with Bruschi (We're not worthy!)'s number on it.
-
it looks very new. not bad though.
-
i think so. you are not paid when your suspended. but there is a limit on the number of game the team can suspend you for. you are paid when on the team but inactive. looks like they will keshawn his ass.
-
i dont know who said it... but: "I bet even the Buffalo Bills want him to have a great game today". and as it mentioned: "you have to get more than 2 yards on that play" (on 3rd and 1).

the only questionable call was a personal foul, late his out of bounds, call on miami on one of vicks runs. he was running out of bounds, but vick can do anything, so you have to finish the play. his toe had just hit the white when the fins player hit him. they called it a 15 yard penalty. at those speeds, at that time, there is no way a defender could have been able to see if he was out of bounds or not. if vick doesnt want to be hit, he should get out of bounds when he can.
-
i think the player he juked was Ty Law. i saw it live. it was amazing. LT is the best RB in the NFL. we are watching greatness. now it they would just start Rivers, i could really get in to that team.
-
i do think McNabb playing with that injury is not the smartest thing to do. TO can say whtever he wants. hes been doing that for years. the eagles knew that before they traded for him. you take the good with the bad. they just havent figured out what to say when he starts talking. you would think by now they would have a pre writen response...
-
a quote from the announcers. (from what i can remember) "i bet even the Buffalo Bills want him to have a great game today". i think that says it all. but if it doesnt, just before commercials they showed bruschi and played the "Hero" song. you would have thaught it was Pat Tillman reborn or something.

you just saved me a lot of typing. thank you. you are completly correct. and even funny.

i cant believe you even said that name. Melloy stays at SS. wire has shown he has no coverage skills.

McGahee's comeback more impressive that Tedy's
ch19079 replied to TC in St. Louis's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
ill also add, there is no such thing as a "little" brain aneurism. it is a serious health problem that could have killed him. -

ch19079 replied to TC in St. Louis's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
McGahee's injury was much harder to return from, IMO. but McGee was never in any real life threatening danger. a stroke can seriously hurt you, and can even kill you. but once treated, it should be easier to return to your normal life. -
Strange Penalty Call: Comitting an "unatural act"
ch19079 replied to The Dean's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
the defensive line tried to act as if they were jumping across the line, in order to get one of our O-Lineman to move, thus causing a false start. they made this illegal a few years ago. though i have never heard it refered to "unnatural acts". -
I have changed my mind about third down backs
ch19079 replied to Kelly the Dog's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
2nd and short is a passing down. if you dont complete the pass, its still 3rd and short. it gives you a chance to take a shot deep with out leaving you with a long 3rd down if you dont complete it. -
i would like to think we wouldnt do something so stupid.

Two comments about last night's coverage
ch19079 replied to smokinandjokin's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
they didnt throw a flag, because the "hero", missed the tackle. so he didnt get a tackle... but he got a "hit". -

ch19079 replied to smokinandjokin's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
did you see the ref, holding out his flag, dangling it over the spot where holcomb threw the ball away from. whats up with that. i can understand, standing there, to keep the spot. but to just dangle it there just looked stupid.
