  1. what if i say , we need to draft V. Davis because he will be the best player available at our spot on draft day...?
  2. if you look at the teams ahead of us, IMO, only 2 have a shot at drafting Davis. RB-Bush OT-Ferguson QB- Leinart QB-Young OLB-Hawlk DE-Williams will all probubly go before davis.
  3. nice quote. but i dont know about the greatest movie ever made part...
  4. tripplett was the best move. i dont see how people can see Reed as a starter. i see us using a 4 wr set alot, with evans and davis on the outside, and parrish and reed in teh slot on each side.
  5. they might be good, but none look as dominant as davis. with such a high pick, we need a dominant guy.
  6. who says royal is going to be a starter? who said that by signing royal we wont sign davis? if davis left on the board with ngata i will be happy with either pick. that said, davis looks to be a beast. if hes there, we need to take a real long look at him. he could be a game changer. i dont see ngata beign a game changer.
  7. we are talking about the 2nd best kicker in the NFL. we should be mad that the bills didnt sign him. but i guess you all would rather see us punt from the 30 yard line.
  8. i think he actually went to the SB, and didnt simply watch it on tv. so the queston is, would you blow off jail time to go to the SB and watch a family member play in it? he had to expect some kind of punishment for not showing up to jail, but adding 4.5 YEARS to a 6 month sentence is crazy.
  9. i thaught the better player was ngata, and thats why he is said to be a top 10 pick.
  10. the simpsons changed TV. but the simpsons have been airing for so long that its just not that funny anymore. South Park and Family Guy are both much better than the simpsons.
  11. Steelers | Police and courts: T. Carter Wed, 22 Mar 2006 06:26:24 -0800 The Associated Press reports the brother of Pittsburgh Steelers S Tyrone Carter, Tank Carter, was sentenced five years in prison for driving with a revoked license. His original sentence was six months. Tank was scheduled to report to a Broward County, Fla. jail in January, but instead he watched the Steelers beat the Seattle Seahawks in Super Bowl XL. He reported for jail on Feb. 13. The judge did not like that and increased his sentence to five years. damn, so was it worth it? LOL
  12. no matter what happens, moulds has been a great player for the bills. and its sad to see him leave.
  13. at our position, we may be able to draft a seriously great player. the positon doesnt matter to me at our pick. we need a great player. if all the great prospects are gone, then we can think about trading down.
  14. anything can happen, but i do think its a long shot for a 3rd or 4th rounder to "replace moulds".
  15. he went from a bust to an ok backup. he has come a long way, but he still has a long way to go.
  16. why have transition tags at all if the NFL allows the second team to put clauses into the contract which makes it imposible for the original team to match the offer? its just stupid.
  17. thanks, i had forgotten the guys name. i cant believe the nfl allowed the deals to happen.
  18. i remember hearing something on espn about this. they refered to a bills restricted free agent (several years back) who signed an offer sheet that required him to be the highest paid player on the team. at the time kelly was the highest paid player on the bills. so if the bills wanted to match the offer they would have had to reduce kellys money. the bills wernt willing to do this, so the restricted FA went to the other team. the NFL later agreed that this was no longer allowed. so i am still trying to figure out how the NFL allowed this to happen to seattle.
  19. there is a good chance he will be our #1 QB at the start of the season. why would you even think about sending him to play in NFLE? the risk of him being injured is just to high.
  20. its still gunna cost them a lot even if they resturcture. if it was that easy to drop his cap hit, i would hope that we would do it. i see it far more likly that if a team is interested, they will wait untill we have cut him and then pick him up as a FA. why trade draft picks for a old WR who has a huge cap hit, when you can wait for the team to cut him and get him for less?
  21. seattle did get screwed in this. its all about how the contract was drawn up. they made it so there was no way seattle could match the offer. seattle would have had to garentee the entire 48 million (i think that was the final total), but the vikings would not have to garentee the 48 mil. i do believe this is in violation of the rules, and they got screwed. EDIT: the only good thing about this deal for seattle, is now they have a great (if hes back to 100%) LB.
  22. i think of peters as a huge surprise for us. a undrafted TE who has played very well at OT. we are lucky to have a good, cheap, athletic OT. i have read a few articals that describe our bad o-line by saying "the bills have resorted to using a undrafted TE as a OT". i feel these opinions are incorrect. I am very happy with peters at OT. gandy on the other hand.... gandy is an average OT. he usually gets called for atleast one holding call a game, and will get beat once or twice a game. i would like an upgrade here, but i dont think a draft pick will be able to start at OT in his first year.
  23. if we traded him the team we traded him to would have a huge cap hit. he wont be traded even though he can still be a #1 for a team. if we decide to let him go, we will cut him. i jsut hope we can keep him some how. i dont like the idea of evens being the #1 guy just yet.
