Really? No Tre White, 3rd year player Dane Jackson (first full yr. as a starter), Rookie Elam and 6th Rd. Rookie Benford? Not addressing CB depth and going in last year with Wallace at CB2 really hurt once Tre went down. Maybe we'll be fine but I really wanted a vet brought in (Haden, Rhodes) as a security blanket. Of course, JMHO...

If the return was acceptable I'd have no problem trading Moss and keeping Duke Johnson. He's been solid and he's healthy and motivated now playing on a SB contender. Motor/ Cook and Johnson with JA17 sprinkled in is a pretty nice combo IMO. Miami will scoop Johnson up the moment he's cut. I expect it because they cut Michel today and their fans were pretty upset he wasn't retained. Plus he'll have Buffalo Intel going in a la Belicheck.

Whatever it is make sure you treat it with interferon. Just like everything else on that freaking awesome show!

Is it Lupus!!

I truly believe Elam was brought in for that very reason. I think our D will incorporate more man press coverage on certain down and distance situations to disrupt receivers like Tyreek Hill and throw off opposing offenses rythum and timing patterns.

Love "lil dirty" but with Crowder and Shakir on board it's not exactly a position that's lacking depth.

Anybody Concerned About Our Defensive Backfield?
billsbackto81 replied to Irv's topic in The Stadium Wall
Hyde and Poyer should be fine plus J.Johnson and D. Hamlin have looked solid. As far as CB I'm a little concerned, especially against higher end receiving corps. I would've like to see a vet like Haden or Rhodes brought in as a security blanket in the event the game is too big for Elam right away or if Jackson has a setback. Benford has been a pleasant surprise for a rookie. -

Teams are gonna be lining up for our cut players. -
Bengals. I'd like to go Ravens with a motivated Lamar but their front office hasn't done much to help their passing game.

NFL+ Streaming Service Launches today
billsbackto81 replied to DrDawkinstein's topic in The Stadium Wall
Some countries actually charge less for the Premium package. For example, if you sign up under Brazil's server the cost is $99. They all vary depending where they are but they all provide the same service. -
Was that Zach Moss run actually impressive?
billsbackto81 replied to transplantbillsfan's topic in The Stadium Wall
I also don't see Motor in the same like as if a Chubb, Henry or Taylor were FA's but if he puts out close to 1k rushing as you said some team will pay more than Buffalo is willing. I do think Cook can be a lead back in a 70/30 split with a RB2 but he has to prove he's more the a pass catching RB. -

This is true but it may work in this particular case. If Singletary has a good year he may price himself out of Buffalo. Cook will more than likely be in on passing downs and counter runs and misdirection. Moss is a short yardage guy that should see good push from an improved O line, especially on 3rd and short. If Cook can prove he can produce positive yards on run plays in particular between the tackles he will most likely be the feature back next year with Moss as RB2. -

If completely healthy, and it looks like he is, he's making the team. The Motor/Moss/Cook combo is a pretty nice young trio that each bring a specific skill set to the table.- 118 replies

NFL reffing focus (roughing the passer/illegal contact)
billsbackto81 replied to Watkins101's topic in The Stadium Wall
Was thinking the same thing. Tre is also a very physical and handsy CB. -
Roquan Smith has requested a trade
billsbackto81 replied to Dablitzkrieg's topic in The Stadium Wall
Smith is good but not as good as he thinks he his and thinks he's worth. He has his flaws just like Tremaine. If he's an upgrade over Edmunds it's not by much IMO. -
Moulds (away) Spikes (home) B. Smith (home)

WR is the last position I'm concerned with.

They were just talking about this on Schoop and Bulldog yesterday. Sal was saying how impressive the safety depth has looked which didn't bode well for a Poyer extension with others like Edmunds, Knox and Oliver in the wings. Good to know but I'd rather see Jordan ball out if it's to be his last year here.

That's kinda funny and kinda not but I'll allow it a give you a 😄

Where will Devin Singletary end up after this season?
billsbackto81 replied to Tipster19's topic in The Stadium Wall
RB is just not the premium position it was say 20-30 years ago. Outside of team chemistry you really don't lose much come time to replace one. Teams aren't breaking the bank for RBs. If a back isn't willing to stay on a deal that doesn't kill a teams payroll they just draft one . -
OT: Belichick says that Mac's improvement is "dramatic"
billsbackto81 replied to Success's topic in The Stadium Wall
Does he play defense? Chances are we aren't punting. Maybe. But it was more a great play by Hyde than bad throw from Mac. Algohlor had Levi absolutely 🔥roasted 🔥 on that play. If Hyde didn't play the angle perfectly that's a TD all day and we're cursing out Wallace instead.
