His numbers are comparable to Zay Jones who signed a 3 yr/ 24 million dollar deal. As a GM I'd love for Gabe to take that deal. I'd doubt he would sign that considering a healthy season catching balls from JA17 could net him a much more lucrative deal. If he puts up a 1k season with more consistent hands he's looking at 15mil per. Beane can't do that. Agreed. It's not like his QB is Mac Jones or Baker Mayfield. If he bets on himself and stays healthy he's gonna cash in.

I would tend to agree, no proof no credibility. But, that Steelers/Seahawks SB is pretty head scratching. If there was one that was fixed that one would be my choice.

Building the most problematic NFL player 🤣

Or Vontaze Burfict. -
Don't know about 10 different QB's, but I do agree that Allen with that team hoists the Lombardi.
-
To see elite defensive players around the league heap such praise and admiration on JA17 is just freaking awesome. It really does go to show you that all the hate and jealousy thrown his way from rival fan bases and media pundits like Nick Wright is 100% envy. You're lying to yourself if you'd say outside of Mahomes you would want someone else to be your teams QB1. Josh is the real deal.
-
No, it's because he and his team had a dominant season and SB berth.
-
He's pretty much solidified the 3 spot so far. Josh is gonna make him a very rich man next year.
-
Outside of Mahomes, Josh is the only current QB that can carry an offense by himself.

What team has the best NFL message board in the world?

Finheaven.com is pretty good if you're a fan of comedy and fiction. 🤣 -
Is Matt Barkley a better fit than Kyle Allen in this offense?

Jessie Palmer once asked Tom Coughlin when he landed the role of the bachelor in The Bachelorette " that he wouldn't do it if Coughlin thought it would hurt the team. (Paraphrasing)Coughlin responded, son if our success is determined by whether you're on the team we're in a world of *****. 🤣 -

Well, they're both better than Skylar Thompson so we should have a chance if we get in the playoffs. 😏 -
Sack Exchange was a dirty bunch of SOBs. Wouldn't be surprised if they were juicing during that era.
-
Hopefully Steve gets in one day. Ashamed he's not in yet. As far as Thomas and Klecko? Meh. Thomas is more deserving but it goes to show if you cry long enough they'll eventually give in.

If you want to make the case that they now currently play us at a competitive level as a "closing the gap" scenario then yes, I can accept that. But I'm sure to them and us that's nothing more than a moral victory. I've mentioned before that I'd rather play them instead of the Jets. They were to me the toughest defense we played last year, and now they have a QB, albeit an aging one.
-
I see what you did there.👀

I guess it depends on ones own opinion of what constitutes "closing the gap" and whether you consider it relevant. Personally I don't care what kind of team they put together on paper or how their actual team has performed against other squads, with or without Tua. I can only go with the body of work I posted in the opening. Miami has not won a playoff game in over 20 years. 20! They are 2-9 since JA17. Their 2 wins were a game winning Charles Clay dropped TD pass and last years game in Hell from being 0-11. But because they barely beat us with no Tre, Hyde, Poyer in the game, starting Hamlin and Johnson 🤮. Morse getting injured with Quessenberry butchering every other snap they still only manage a 2 point victory though still thoroughly outplayed offensively. Then the WC game. I won't detail since I'm pretty sure you know what the team endured before the game. They may very well be better this year. Lord knows everybody thinks so. But until they actually sweep or put a good thumping on the Bills or maybe win a division title and a playoff game I say no. IMO they have not "closed the gap". Yet.

The first was a great movie but, like The Godfather I enjoyed the second one more. Of course it's JMHO...

Winston Churchill once said, "When it's too tough for them, it's just right for us." Or something like that. HBD Marv!

Why not the same breath? Achievement wise Miami hasn't won the division since 2008. They haven't won a playoff game in over 20 years. Bills have 3 straight afce titles and playoff appearances in 4 straight and have 4 wins in that span. Because of the recent body of work, let's say the last 5 seasons. Before beating an injury riddled team in 105 degree heat while still yielding 500 yards of offense and a moral victory loss with a backup QB they've lost 9 of 10 head2head match ups. Most of them in a throttling, behind the woodshed type fashion. Not saying they won't be a better team this year. Just saying once again, what have they proven?

What Would Happen if the Bills Cut Damar Hamlin? (Dan Patrick)

Is Jaquan Johnson still on the team? As long as he and Cam Lewis are gone I'll be ok.😋 -

I feel bad for what happened to the kid but this stuff (heart attacks) happen everyday to people, young and old and they are owed nothing. If he deserves it so be it. But I'm sure I'm not the only one here who was screaming at the TV whenever he was out of position or took a horrible angle to the ball carrier that ran by him. IMO he's not very good and is a liability when he's on the field. I wouldn't cut a potential difference maker (Morris, Isabella, Sternberger or take your pick) for a Safety I hope doesn't see the field. -
How Is Everyone Finding Updated Information?

Hate Twitter X lately. It's littered with delusional Dolphins fans talking about how elite Tua is.🤣 -
Gun to my head, I'm going with Dotson. I'd love to see someone like Spector make a push and show us something. Bernard seems more a Milano back up than a starting MLB. Wish Beane was more aggressive acquiring a veteran player in FA other than Klein which I kinda feel will be cut.
