I'm worried more about the Jets than Miami. Legit QB though aging and a defense that caused us fits last year. Bills have yet to have issues moving the ball against Miami. Too soon wouldn't you say?
-
They will face these defenses: Bills 2x Jets 2x Pats 2x Eagles Ravens Dallas Giants are decent and the Chargers handed them an whipping last year as well. That's quite the gauntlet Tua has to go up against. I have nothing against the guy but I can't see him surviving the season without some type injury.

Do the numbers lie? Thoughts? Personally I'm growing tired of how their fans and the media keep hyping this team. Yes, they have a decent team on paper but what have they proven? Constantly being mentioned in the same breath as KC, Cincinnati and Buffalo. Now I do realize the final score is all that matters. But is it really that close when you look at the numbers? Week 3/ Miami 21 Bills 19 Total yards. Miami 212 Bills 497 Passing. Miami 171 Bills 382 Rushing. Miami 41 Bills 115 Avg play. Miami 5. Bills 6 3rd Downs. Miami 37% Bills 61% TOP. Miami 19:20 Bills 40:40 Wildcard Game/ Bills 34 Miami 31 Total yards. Miami 231 Bills 423 Passing. Miami 189 Bills 316 Rushing. Miami 42 Bills 107 Avg play. Miami 3 Bills 6 3rd Downs. Miami 25% Bills 56% TOP Miami 27:47 Bills 32:13 I'll spare you the details of all the injuries and misfortunes that fell upon our team last year. Buffalo has dominated this team more than any other. Statistically its not even close! I just don't get the hype.

Is the AFC East being overhyped this year?

Their O Line is still not very good except for a LT that's hurt just as much as Tua. I've been to many games at Giants Stadium for both Jets and Giants. I've found the Giants fan base quite knowledgeable and friendly. Jets fans? 😂😂😂 I'm surprised they're not 32nd. Bunch of brain dead sperm droppings. -

I'll allow it, but be careful counselor, you're playing a dangerous game here.

With all the new rules neutering the return game is it really that crucial? How many kick offs get returned? Pretty much need someone to fair catch on punts most times. Micah Hyde has sure hands. I'm just trying to look on the bright side😊

Along with Frank Lewis they were my favorites growing up as well. Hence my username 👍 -

There can only be one answer. The one that's open! -
Basically the same lateral move the Bills did with Dorsey. Making this move would imply both share the same schemes and philosophies, to an extent. This means familiarity and minimal learning curve for the players which is a big plus for a championship aspiring team. Contrary to some here IMO Dorsey did a decent job as a Rookie OC and I would expect Johnson to have similar results. Big year for Dorsey as it seems he will try to implement at times a more "Big Package" scheme😂 for a more competent run game and TE diverse offense. Plus keeping JA17 upright is also a focal point this year.

They have very good coaches as well. It's quite the embarrassment of riches. Hurts is an excellent QB and he compliments that roster very well. But, there are a few QBs in this league that would have done quite well with that line up, ours being one of them.

For those still upset we didn’t trade up for Jordan Addison…

Kids will be kids. Make no mistake, these young men are closer to being kids than mature men. No judgement here. I remember all the stupid things I did when I had a little money as a twenty- something, and it wasn't millions. Luckily he didn't hurt anyone and will learn from it,.....or not. -
Oh I definitely agree but I still want to win the division and I can the Jets and Miami winning 9-11 games if things go right for them.

I'd take 11 wins going into the post season healthy, strong and with momentum than 13 wins limping, injured and shrouded in tragedy.

Giants and Barkley do not reach an agreement on a new contract
billsbackto81 replied to Gregg's topic in The Stadium Wall
Meh. Who cares. I seriously doubt we'll ever see a RB break the 15 mil barrier again. It's a position that's just not revered anymore. Anyway. Jacobs > Barkley -
Probably player not in the Hall, but should be.

Hopkins released by Arizona (7/16: signed by Titans)

He obviously waited out to see if a contender would match or come close the current offers he had. Once he realized nobody was going to bite he took the bag in front of him. In NE he'd have to face 3 contenders with McNoodle throwing the ball against above average secondaries. At least in Tenn it might be interesting considering its a 2 horse race. Unfortunately for him Tennessee's horse is 2 steps away from the glue factory.
