Anyone would be blind not to acknowledge what B.B. has accomplished. Maybe the greatest HC of all time ( personally I like Walsh) All I’m saying is that it wasn’t done overnight. He didn’t win his first SB til his 7th year of being a HC. McD in time may bear the same fruit. Maybe not. He’ll have 7-8 wins in his rookie season. He’s got a bunch of picks next draft and a good eye for talent.

Outside that one playoff season you’re hailing and praising a HC that averaged 6 wins in 5 seasons of coaching. You know what, Belichick is a genius. Not just a genius, he’s possibly a Jedi master. He has everyone believing that he came into this world with a Lombardi trophy in his hand.

Did you miss the part in the first sentence that states HC? Yeah he took them to the playoffs, in his 4th season. He averaged 6 wins a season the other 4. He went 5-11 his first year with the Pats and then got Brady. How about giving McD the same opportunity.

Belichick was 6-10 his first year as a HC. Didn’t accomplish much of anything until Brady and a little rule bending. How about we give McD a chance to get “HIS QB” before we pounce on a guy who’ll probably finish with more wins in his rookie campaign than B.B. and more than anyone gave him a chance to win with this mediocre roster.

True, Taylors running ability skews the numbers in a more positive light but still impressive nonetheless. Its the zone blocking scheme that has caused the issues in the run game. Have you seen the rest of their schedule? @ Minnesota, Saints, @ Arizona, Eagles, @ Seattle, @ Titans and SF Can easily lose 4 or 5 of those. Feel good story no doubt but lets not crown them just yet shall we.

In his first three professional seasons, Luck has led the Colts to three playoff appearances including two AFC South division titles in 2013 and 2014, also earning a Pro Bowl selection in each season. In the 2013–14 NFL playoffs, he led the Colts to the second largest playoff comeback in NFL history. If Luck was healthy and the Bills acquired him that would be awesome. He's the ideal QB for the system the coaching staff has such a passion to run. Timing, accuracy, vision and arm strength (when healthy). A first and a second would probably do it but I just don't think he'll ever be "right" again. Plus the Buffalo weather and winters would wreak havoc on his body and shoulder. Hard pass.

I thought of that as well. They can't afford to lose this game while in contention. Also allows them to see what Nate has before they go QB shopping next season.

Can't disagree with the explanation. It can turn either way, 7-9 or 10-6. No one expected the competent play we've had the chance to experience with the minimal talent on the roster and good things are on the horizon. I'd love to see a playoff berth but it won't kill me if it doesn't happen. This team is prepping for the future and it looks bright.
