  1. Loved those Dennis Hopper Nike commercials. RIP Stanley.
  2. And there's the rub. You can have Larry Allen and Anthony Munoz on each side and it won't mean a lick if their on the sidelines watching. Football is not a sport of patience especially when a player has already made their money. You don't perform, you're out! Next man up.
  3. Browns are Home. Bills are on the road. 6 points sounds about right considering our QB situation on the road against a formidable D. I'd take the Bills and the under.
  4. Dawkins will be fine. Teller looks legit at Guard and Miller seems to be coming around nicely. Groy is serviceble but nothing special and RT is a dumpster fire. Mills, Ducasse and Bodine aren't even CFL worthy.
  5. Totally agree. Shaq’s played well and he’s not going anywhere with Murphy being MIA since he’s been acquired.
  6. Let’s remember that it is preseason and most of you know HCs and DCs usually keep their preferred schemes close to the vest and a lot of times just throw out vanilla packages. It is disturbing that they would get gashed like that even when using sub packages. I thought the tweets Talley and Bennett were exchanging during the game interesting, noticing how lost Edmunds look. What Talley said made so much sense especially since Tre is like 6’5” or something like that. Paraphrasing, The RB always lies to you but the O lineman will tell you the truth all day. Good stuff.
  7. Jeez, I should've put a comidic sarcasm emoji after that though I find it hard to believe that some would think that was serious.
  8. That’s because Baldy had the Full Frontal view showing how bad they were up close and personal. Defenders were past our O line before their hands got up. I have to believe this was by design. Maybe they wanted to see the QBs under duress and if they can take a hit or two or seven.
  9. At this point I'd bring back Richie's crazy arse back.
  10. I remember Jimbo throwing 3 picks in the first half of a MNF game against Cincy. Honestly the only throws that concern me about NP are the quick side line outs like some have mentioned. He just doesn't get it there as quick and elite and top DBs are gonna jump routes for INTs. He does pretty well other than that.
  11. No I'm not saying that, the record books are. I know how good they were dude. Gale Sayers, Bo Jackson and Billy Sims all are taking a back seat to Thurman because he stayed healthy and unfortunately they didn't. They were all immensely talented HOF caliber players, BUT!, There are no spots in the Hall of Fame for " if I didn't get hurt" players.
  12. IMPACT! Where's the impact? It's on the salary cap!? Really hope these guys hit the switch come season opener because without Star, Murphy and Edmunds playing to their potential its gonna be a long season.
  13. Finally! An acquisition post that makes sense and doesn't have Mack and Dez on it.? Matt Moore or Derek Anderson for that matter would be good insurance that won't embarrass. Hankins is a decent player that would fit well in the rotation and not place to much burden on Phillips. Bowman just from a mentorship stand point would do wonders for Edmunds.
  14. I went into the draft absolutely positive Roquan Smith was the #1 LB in the draft but I also thought Edmunds was not far behind him skill set wise. I know it's way too early to jump to conclusions but his play so far looks nothing like his college tape. What makes it worse is he pretty much was annoited the starting MLB when Goodell called his name draft night. His physical talent like Allen is undeniable but it really goes to show you there's more that goes into it besides natural abilities.
  15. Gotta tell you, I've mentioned many times to sit him a year and not ruin him like EJ. But man, this kid ain't EJ!
  16. That was a beautiful accurate throw. That kid sure can whip it.
  17. That's my point Shaw. Without KB out there at #one which of these WRs do you feel needs extra attention from the opposing Defense? Zay? We can only hope he's healthy and doesn't drop it. Coleman? I have hope he can be the deep threat we need. Kerley? Journeyman slot guy. There's nobody to keep the secondary honest.
  18. It starting to look like he'll only be useful as a pass rushing specialist, but that's not what his salary would indicate. OBD was wise to keep Shaq around.
  19. Can't help but think he's going to give it his best considering its a contract year for him.
  20. I wasn't upset. it was a great throw that truly shows off the kids strength and arm talent. Now that I think about it, it was 2nd and 10 down 11 points in the 4th with 1:45 on the clock so ill advised would be the wrong term. You gotta take chances at that point
  21. I guess it was perfect because Lee caught it. But,..... If rolling out and falling backwards throwing off your back foot constitutes "perfect", so be it.
  22. It was a great catch. Ill advised throw like the 4th down toss, but great catch nonetheless.
  23. ^^^^This... This group can only be thought as marginally acceptable if KB stays on the field. No other WR will draw the same attention and allow others to work freely due to their limitations. Pretty sure this will be one of the main position priorities next season in FA or the draft.
  24. Should of retained EJ Gaines. Most likely did not want to be here considering what he signed for with the Browns wasn't as much as most thought he'd get . I'm guessing also that maybe McBeane didn't want him back because of his injury history. Its a real slap in the face to choose the Browns over us. What they should have done is got a #2 (borderline #1)receiver. Now KB knees are barking again. Great, just great!
  25. You are correct, Jalen is a punk. But, I'm pretty sure he's not concerned and doesn't care about his grammar. He didn't exactly attend FSU on an academic scholarship working on his Masters in Language Arts.
