  1. This place is gonna go bat guano crazy if Peterman is the starter come season opener. It's too bad the kid couldn't come along slowly like the tail end of a blowout or maybe against a lesser team. Starting against San Diego for a debut was questionable and was considered insulting by many of their players with a healthy Tyrod available. DiMarco and Mills didn't do him any favors either. I don't think he's anywhere near as bad as the SD game but don't think he's franchise material either. Hopefully he can be the Reich to Allen's Kelly.
  2. Incomplete. As important as talented players would help, a competent OC can mask shortcomings and make even a mediocre O line look decent if the scheme compliments what he has and gets the ball out quickly. Kind of like what Chan did a couple years back. Dawkins, Groy and Miller should be fine. High hopes for Teller as well.
  3. Is that the game Kelly threw 3 INTs in the first half?
  4. I checked and you are correct on one. Hochuli did retire at the end of last season. Coleman unfortunately is still listed as active.
  5. That's too bad, he was a good one. If only Hochuli and Coleman would retire .
  6. One of my favorites in the late 90’s, even got his Away Jersey. Known by many as the best WR in the league nobody knows about.
  7. This is gonna be a long 6 weeks for sure.
  8. Nope. Dad's a Steelers fan. He's a bandwagoner who watched football mostly in the 70's. Kinda like the 18 year old Patriots fans of today, he didn't want to cheer for a loser franchise.
  9. If your name is Brady or Rodgers, sure. For a rookie QB many feel was over drafted and has accuracy issues? I can accept that all day.
  10. Whoa! Did he actually throw that ball without the WR being wide open, before he finished his route and where the WR was supposed to be? I can't for the life of me remember seeing that in the last 3 seasons.
  11. It's Pete Prisco so..............................................meh... He's more a Bills basher than supporter. Sure he's been more positive towards the club as of late but make no mistake, he's a Jacksonville fan and pumps up that team more than any other.
  12. Compared to what they gave Star, he's a steal. He's the type of back that's a good compliment to Shady and in goal line situations. He always killed the Bills when he played against them. Or would you rather have Tolbert back?
  13. Betcha he gets away with it due to botched specimen process.
  14. 1. Bills have 4 pro bowlers, White, McCoy, Edmunds and Hyde 2. Allen doesn't play until week 17 ala Pat Mahomes last year. 3. Bills become a Top 5 defensive unit.
  15. Agreed. RIP Mr. Clark, you provided a lasting memory for many fans, especially the ones that dislike the Cowboys. I always wondered exactly how high that ball was. ? Clark was 6'4" with a decent vertical and was fully extended and caught on the finger tips. Many thought Montana was throwing it away. 11-12ft maybe?
  16. "I don't personally look over my shoulder," Taylor said. "I can't control things that are out of my reach, out of my touch. I can control only the things that I do daily -- my preparation, my effort, my energy, my execution. But I can't walk around and lead in the way I'm supposed to if I'm worried or looking over my shoulder. ------------------------------------------------------- Actually Tyrod, your execution is the one thing you had no control over. McDermott, Beane and the Bills fan base were the axe bearers when your execution was carried out. You're a good dude and I wish you well in Cleveland if you can beat out Mayfield but the only part of your game I'll miss is the way you used to scramble and make something out of nothing. Let the Allen era begin! Go Bills!

  18. If they're gonna continue giving 10 mil a year contracts to players like Star I'd rather they just keep it and build through the draft. That's like buying a Hyundai for 85k. I'd like to see them make acquisitions at positions needed of course but let's be smart about it. This team is in a position they haven't seen in a long time. Willing ownership, competent coaching and front office, talented youth and possible franchise QB and soon to be major cap space. Hopefully they spend it on quality starters who can contribute and want to be here like Hyde and Poyer. I do like Star though. Good player who fits a need. And let's be honest, it was the worst kept secret we were signing him once FA started, but 10 mil per? He's a 7 mil player max. And yes, I am well aware that it's not my money. It's just sometimes I look at it from a GMs perspective instead of a fans.
  19. Me as well. I didn't receive the high level education those articulate fans over in the Bronx got.
  20. 1. Wallace 2. Boettger 3. Foster Although DB is the least needed of the these position groups Wallace according to camp reports has been turning heads with his knack for being around the ball. Great work ethic and very good footwork. Boettger was projected as a 5th-6th rounder before his Achilles injury. Solid athlete Foster has a good shot at making the team at a position of weakness. Like Wallace, that Alabama connection may play a role in familiarity.
  21. Best scenario for who? That's"worst case" scenario. Everybody is writing off this year as a building year with no shot at postseason play. KC had a competent playoff caliber QB above Mahomes, we have McCarron. If AJ plays well you ride with him and let Josh develop. If Josh wins the starting gig outright then cross your fingers.
  22. I caught that also. No, he is not in the HOF. I honestly don't think Gil researches or has anyone proof read his stuff anymore.
  23. Week 12 KC game was to me the turning point of the season. After getting humiliated against the Chargers in Week 11 they went into KC in a must win situation and dominated defensively against a fully armed KC team. That showed me a lot and reaffirmed my confidence in this regime. Honorable mention has to be the last week of the season. Beating Miami in a must win and wait game and then watching the Cincy/ Baltimore miracle which ended the drought was pretty special.
  24. Wow, gotta say it seemed better than that, especially against Buffalo. That being said, as much as I dislike the player I'd still take him over 35 of the names above his. Took me a sec, good one BB ?
  25. Great possession receiver and chain mover no doubt. But his diva attitude leaves little to desire. If he had TB, Big Ben or Rodgers slinging he would put up better #s than he's had, and even those are pretty impressive with a duck like Tannehill throwing. He lacks the vertical threat the true greats like Brown and Jones bring. Good receiver but nowhere near the best.
