I love N'Keal!!!! Just because you or I feel he's worthy of being a Top 10 pick doesn't mean it will be. Reason? Most teams who are breaking in a new QB go through FA and later rounds of the draft to get their receivers. WRs for the most part take 2-3 years to fully understand the game and develop chemistry with their QB though there are exceptions. But those usually have seasoned vet QBs like Brees/Thomas, Big Ben/JJ, Ryan/Jones, Rivers/ Allen. Taking a WR at 9 when there so many other needs is not smart from a GM perspective. He may very well be a first rounder and even a Top 10 Target but I don't see it being Buffalo. It would be Sammy Watkins all over again and Sammy was a better prospect than any of the WRs in this draft.

Josh Jacobs- will be best RB in this draft class

I agree with you on this. I've seen a few of his highlights and though his skill set is obvious that OLine was opening up canyons to run through. A lesser back with more speed might have found the endzone on some of those runs. -
Greg Roman promoted to OC in Baltimore
billsbackto81 replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
If you're running a predominant run style offense which is the case in Baltimore than Roman is a great choice who is a very innovative mind in that respect. But... if you're saddling him with a QB lacking passing skills and IQ when it comes to reading defenses then you're basically doing the old wash, rinse and repeat cycle. -
Agreed. Every mock I've seen has him going to the Jets. I see us going DL unless a trade down is in play. I really see the Jets screwing us in the draft and FA. They have similar needs and more cap. McBeane really has to nail this off season.

I like Metcalf but not at 9. There is no WR in this draft that justifies a Top 10 selection.

I think you may be "just a little in love" with Kris Richard as a HC. -
Which prospect do you NOT want the Bills to draft?
billsbackto81 replied to LSHMEAB's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Any WR. As much as it being a position of need there is not one WR in this draft that justifies a #9 pick. OL or DL seems to be where the quality players are 1-15. -
AFC Wild Card: Colts at Texans 4:35 ESPN

Like the announcer said, his hand was on the ball when it crosses white. Nothing matters after that. -
I wasn't thrilled draft night considering Rosen was still on the board. Didn't watch any Wyoming football so I didn't know much about the kid. I could only go by his limited highlight reel and what all the pundits thought. At that point I had no choice but to trust McBeane since they get paid to know more than me. My thoughts on him have definitely changed and feel like many that his potential is sky high. Tremendous heart and athleticism. He may or may not be the answer but one thing is certain, we have exciting football back in Buffalo.

Shaq Lawson 5th year option on the table
billsbackto81 replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I like Shaq. Team guy with a solid work ethic. Doesn't seem the type to mail it in after getting paid. I see him progressively getting better. Maybe not elite level but pro bowl level no doubt. -
He's a step behind on every play. I can't remember the last time I saw a Bills QB expose and embarrass a player as much as Allen has to Kiko this season. You can actually see his frustration every time Josh gives him the "what's my name" treatment.

Correct, but the one thing they have in common is they were all unnecessary. I'm not one for dirty play but I'm glad to see it not taken lightly when it becomes excessive from other teams. -

I wonder if Tre White (Gronk), Aaron Williams (Landry)and Josh Allen (Everybody) share your sentiment? I agree with you, sort of, but I honestly feel this team has taken enough and refuses to continue to take this while officiating takes a blind eye approach. At least this hit was clean and legal though yes it was violent. -

Offensive Rookie of the Year
billsbackto81 replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
5-1 58% 1022 yds 6 TDS, 3 picks 170 yds passing per game behind a scheme designed to run and a stellar D. OROY? Uh.. nope Mayfield or Barkley will be the pick. -
The only way Sammy wins SB MVP is if he limps out on the field on his crutches to give Mahomes the Heinlich because he’s choking on his mouthpiece. And I’d rather see that than scum bucket team hoist another Lombardi.

Well done my good man. Well done.. -
So agree with this. A generational talent is like the opportunity of a lifetime. They usually come around once a week.
