  1. We have a winner. Good call Soda POP. Ramsey, Adams and I'm sure others as well are obviously peeved over comments Josh made when he was a teen. They are natural trash talkers and DBs so Josh makes the perfect target. With what we know about Jalen are you going to tell me he's never said anything stupid or offensive in his teen years? Notice that he made no comments about the other drafted QBs like Darnold, Rosen, Rudolph, and Fauk but glowed about Lamar Jackson. Calls Tyrod and under rated MVP caliber player,.. WHAT!!! That alone says all you need to know. How do you call someone trash who has yet to play a down or decent and when they have 2 rings (Ben and Eli) and give all the credit to their WRs? How in the world can you spew this nonsense when Bortles is your QB?
  2. Round 5 • Pick 29 (166) Teller has his limitations and put up some inconsistent film last year, but the 2016 version is starter-caliber in this league. He can have an immediate impact on the Bills' run game if he's needed in the lineup this season. --Mark Dulgerian Hope he works out. Kid was the 11th Guard taken. It would be a heck of a steal and one of the many spells Beane "The Witch" has cast on this team.
  3. From your lips to God's ears.
  4. https://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2018/08/14/if-khalil-mack-is-traded-packers-are-the-betting-favorites-to-land-him/ Followed by the Bills at 7-1. Let's continue to dream on fellas!
  5. 3 games.......... BUT! It should be reserved only for rookies, players with 3 years or less of service and newly acquired players like FAs who aren't familiar with their new team. Team vets with 4 or more years of service should be voluntary on their part.
  6. Well I guess their always healthy,.....until their not. Plenty of receivers have good track records health wise. KB and Zay and Coleman for that matter are not those guys. You're right though, it is kinda ironic.
  7. The difference in his decision making is also a factor. AJM and NP at this point are not as reckless with the football either. Whether that's a product of Josh trying to do too much to impress is unknown. Josh has that arm talent and WOW factor the others can't match but when it comes down to it, it should be the guy that gives the team the best chance to win. I believe that to be AJM because of his experience and better arm than NP. Josh still has a few games to change that view but I really think its between him and AJ. Nate to me just screams back up QB.
  8. Makes me sad to see Holmes as our #2 WR opposite KB.
  9. Good thing I didn't write anything too negative or he'd probably go on IR.
  10. On a separate note as far as training camp is concerned, I'm a little disappointed we haven't had a chance to see Trent Murphy really do anything. This is supposed to be our starting DE and he's been MIA with a groin injury and now is supposedly continuing to feel pain after practicing. This was one of the bigger acquisitions for us and we still don't know what we're getting. Shaq may be safe after all.
  11. Doubt he gets cut. KB and Zay have to prove they can stay healthy. Holmes is pedestrian at best as a wideout but has a special teams feather in his cap. Streeter, MEH. Reilly and Ray Ray have yet to play in an actual NFL game though I like them to contribute this season. I know analyst rankings don't mean too much but Coleman was ranked #2 on many lists behind Treadwell. To say he was over drafted is fair but its not like he was a 5th round prospect. He can play and maybe a change of scenery will prove the Bills right in risking a 2020 7th.
  12. Agreed but he sure looks a lot smaller on the screen.
  13. Arizona’s O line makes ours look like the Electric Company. Rosen was grabbing snaps from his shoelaces all night. Took a pretty good beating too. Bradford will be out by Week 2 if he starts. Also, I don’t know what the height and weight on Rosen are but man he looks small, really small. Good looking player when had time.
  14. Never throw punches at Mills. You'd be swinging at air . Everything gets by him!
  15. Don't know, I don't follow the Tide. Maybe for reasons I mentioned above. On his first deep run he had defender beat and caught it. Second deep ball he had his defender toasted. He's got ability, too bad he can't put it together. I wouldn't cut him just yet, he's shown more than Proehl and we're not exactly deep at the position.
  16. It's really too bad because he has shown the ability to create separation and get open. Unfortunately his lackluster effort, hands and not being where he's supposed to be may very well seal his fate.
  17. Not trying to take anything away from him but did you walk away thinking his play was much more superior to Josh or Peterman for that matter? He made short, precise throws but my God!, that ATL D was putrid. Every reception was mostly uncontested. Not a DB near the wideouts. His game did seem a bit more polished and I guess that's to be expected. Like you said, at least a couple years.
  18. I'm sorry, I missed the part in my post where I said I didn't want NP to win the starting job. I happen to like NP. We happen to have shared the same chiropractor here in St John's Florida when he went to Bartram. True story although not an impressive one. The chiro used to hype him up all the time to me when the Bills drafted him. If he wins it, great. All I'm saying is we've seen him with the better unit and he's performed admirably. Now how about affording the same courtesy to the guy they signed for 10 mil and the guy they traded up to get. Let him play with the 2nd and 3rd team and see if he plays with the same consistency. Like you say, if he continues to play well it makes the decision easier. It's not Josh I want to see with the 1s, it's AJM. I'd be fine with Josh sitting and coming in later or next year.
  19. 100 percent agree. We've already seen NP at his best with the 1s. Let's see AJM with the 1s and Josh with a better offensive unit out there.
  20. I think it's well known he was a devote follower of whatever religion he worshipped.
  21. Nondescript? You might want to check that 2003 Jets roster. Very good players both O and D. Chad was ok, but he'd be passable in todays league, not rip it up. He doesn't have the arm strength to keep Defenses and DB's honest in what is now a passing league. He'd need a serious run game to mask that arm.
  22. Why not? And if not, who goes? I still think AJM gives them the best chance to win now if they put Josh on the back burner. https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/P/PennCh01.htm Nothing spectacular either. But for a back up role, more than good enough.
  23. As good as NP looked last night I was still left with a ho-hum feeling. I can only hope Josh becomes a lot more relevant than Chad P. To me he was the definition of average, Career 66% / 102 TDs, 64 INTs/ 200 yds per game. Sound familiar? It should cause we just got rid of a guy just like him but with running ability. I do agree with you that if Nate can evolve into a CP type clone that would be perfect for our back up position but as a starter, no way. Chad was pretty decent but we didn't draft Josh 7th overall to be decent.
