  1. Giants took Lawrence. Is he big enough for you? There's a reason DK is still not picked, he's not #9 worthy and I like him. Not at 9 though.
  2. Why do I get the feeling the Giants are going to take Metcalf to go with Jones to replace OBJ
  3. To be compared to Donald and John Randle can't be all that bad, right??
  4. What's wrong with Wilkins? He's an exceptional player from a Top conference with character and work ethic. I'm willing to over look the whole testicle grab thing.
  5. Dude! Not even close... He may not be All Pro but what he accomplishes with no help around him is quite impressive.
  6. I have a bad feeling about Sweat and M. Brown.
  7. This would be the most likely scenario. Compensation would be fairly steep though I don't think it would cost next year's 1st. Wouldn't mind Oliver and Fant either which may be more doable.
  8. Someone say Mega Hand! There is currently a post trending right now where this topic belongs.
  9. I understand your POV on this completely. But KC is on the cusp of competeting for a championship. They're striking while the iron is hot and their franchise QB is on a rookie contract. They don't have the time to take a chance on a diamond in the rough in the later rounds.
  10. 29 is more a primo 2nd than Top 10 1st rounder. Who would the Bills have drafted at 29 as good as Clark?
  11. If the bills had 29 they would have made the same deal.
  12. Close comparison. Size and speed are similar along with the ability to make difficult catches.
  13. If he and White are both there at 9 I'm taking Devin.
  14. I can't believe I've gotten this far without reading someone say "we only have two linebackers on the field anyway". It's a very big need indeed. We're an injury away from Schitts Creek. If we were in a better spot I guarantee we'd be taking Allen over any DT aside from Q. Williams. I'd be hard pressed to make a decision if Oliver, White and Hockenson where there at 9.
  15. Recent signings just push it farther down the list like O lineman and WR. Doesn't necessarily take the position off the table. It's still a need and allows McBeane to go BPA.
  16. Good post! I like Milano and Edmunds and they're an up and coming LB tandem but let's not confuse them for Willis and Bowman. If White is on the board at 9 with Oliver gone already he'd be a great pick and round out a very nice LB group. I know we play 2 LBs more times than not but if either go down with injury we have nothing as far as quality depth.
  17. They'd probably want Lawson over Murphy in trade which I would do also. Not bad but Metcalf at 9 is a very high risk/ high reward swing for the fences especially if Oliver, Wilkins or White are there as well. I like stock piling all the later picks for Henderson?
  18. Tempting. For Q? Gun to my head, yes. He's about as close as to a sure thing as it gets. I'd still hate it though!
  19. I really hope you guys aren't implying that we swap 9 for 3 and give up our 1st next year for Oliver. Really? I like him a lot, but not that much.
  20. I could live with it if it's a 4th or lower or any combo of the last 5 we have. We have too many needs still to give up a 3rd or better.
  21. I hate the idea of trading up for Oliver. If he's there at 9, awesome. If not then go BPA. Taylor, Wilkins, Hockenson or even Gary would be fine at 9.
  22. I'd hardly call a win at home against the Ravens an upset. No Flacco, Mosley, Suggs and a QB who IMO didn't impress and got exposed when it counted. We beat Tennessee last year and see no reason it can't happen again. Jets may come out tight in the opener due to unwarranted expectations. The rest I think is spot on.
  23. No, but IMO I don't think any RB in this draft is a slam dunk 1st rounder, and I love Sanders. If I was a super needy team and had to reach it'd be for Jacobs followed Sanders and Montgomery.
  24. Outside of hands the best attribute a WR can have is the ability to separate. Size and speed are nice but it's a lot easier for a QB to throw to guy that's open opposed to one who's fighting for a contested pass or jump ball. That being said, you're right we have enough little speedsters on the team. That's why I want Hockenson.
