  1. This guy would break a rib if he sneezed. Darn shame, when healthy he's a great fit in the scheme.
  2. Darn it! And I has hoping for the second coming of Thurman Thomas in his first NFL action as rookie. Maybe he'll learn and impress by the season opener.
  3. You know what impression I got? This kid looks pretty good for a rookie in his first action against pro opposition.
  4. ? And you agree? I guess you may be right and perhaps Gettleman will end up looking like a genius.
  5. He had 6 catches his entire final season in college. He had 3 last night. Catches the ball better than many thought he would. Good in space and just fast enough. As mentioned, won't beat you to the edge but definitely a chain mover.
  6. As well they should be. Daniel Jones carved them up yesterday. I repeat, DANIEL JONES carved them up. Their offense is gonna be good but their D is far from solid, but them again it is preseason.
  7. He may not get the edge to the sideline on a sweep or pitch but he is fast enough to be a player. His game is all about being slippery between the tackles and using his vision and elusiveness to get chunks and move the chains. He's not a home run hitter. You're probably right. Would like to see him get more carries against the opposing teams second string.
  8. I noticed that as well. Very upright runner with the ball on his right pec and right hand firmly over it. No movement at all! No ball shift, no elbow swing, NOTHING! Just clamp it and go!
  9. He's not very fast but has excellent vision and catches the ball better than expected. Some guys just know how to avoid hits.
  10. The depth we have on the OL is great to see. I think the competition has done wonders for Dawkins' mindset. He was way too comfy last season just having the LT position just handed to him. Dawkins - Spain - Morse - Long - Ford - Nsekhe - Feliciano and Long is a pretty solid and versatile line up. Ducasse and Bodine don't seem to bring anything but stench to the table. Though Bodine at times was serviceable last season he is clearly on the outside looking in this year.
  11. Award winning commentary right there folks! ?
  12. I'm with you on that one. Curious to see how his elusiveness, which will have to overcome his average speed and how it translates to the pros.
  13. I think it's important in the sense that it would really send the Jets and their fan base into panic mode and increased pressure. To lose to a division rival in your opener that you feel you're superior to would be a big slap of reality.
  14. Off the top of your head can you think of any player that came out of retirement to play at an high effective level? Brett Farve does not count, he retired like every other month.
  15. Lol!! I saw some poor sap get spit on from above a while back. Bunch of AHoles... I went to a Jets and Giants game there the same year quite a few years back. The two are like night and day. Giants fans are generally older and more refined and don't mind holding a civil, banter filled conversation. Jets fans are just the worst.
  16. Is he $15 million better? How will his performance be effected without Dareus, Campbell, Jack, Smith and Ramsey? I'd think Shaq and Trent would probably put up better numbers as well in that line up. Apple's to Apple's you are correct, he is marginally better than Trent and markedly better than Shaq as a pass rusher.
  17. Ngakoue is not a 15+ Mil a year player. Very good player, not elite. I'd roll with a healthy Murphy and a contract motivated Shaq before I break the bank on a good to average player who was surrounded by several Pro Bowl/ Elite caliber players.
  18. You are responsible for everything that goes in your body as a pro athlete as it states under your league rules. Whether it's a PED or cannabis is irrelevant. It doesn't take much effort to inquire about a product or read a darn label. You're getting paid millions for Pete's sake. I do believe he didn't know, but it's still on him.
  19. Shades of Marcel Dareus. Sign the big contract followed by letting your team down with stupidity. Typical...
  20. Hate to say it but I agree. Thought the same when I saw it.
  21. If you say so dude. I never saw anything other than "mediocre" during his time with the Bills. Blame it on the QBs if you want but I for one am glad he's out. Often injured and never impactful.
  22. I’d assume he’ll be released before Game 1. He’s “back up” caliber at this point in his career.
  23. I'm also from Ct, born and raised among Jet, Giants, and not until 2001 Patriot fans. Now semi-retired and live among Jaguar fans. Ugh!!!! Die hard, true blue since 1981. Go Bills!!!!
