  1. He may have gotten a ring with GB but make no mistake, he will always be known as a Buffalo Bill. I even remember his press conference after that SB saying he wished the guys in Buffalo could experience this because they really deserve it. Class act!
  2. Tennessee was one game away and they didn't win their division. It's all about hitting the post season hot, firing on all cylinders and playing well. Something our boys did not do.
  3. I have 3 Jerseys in my closet. The greatest all time Bill (Bruce), Takeo and Eric. He sits at 2 behind Andre but can only imagine what he could've been with a better team. Eric had amazing seasons when Peerless was on the other side. When Price went to ATL and floundered tells you all you need to know. With a competent #2 on the other side Moulds was unstoppable. With Josh Reed and other cast offs? Not so much.
  4. The Bills are the ultimate Bend but not Break Defense. They may not be superlative in any one category but are incredibly efficient in all other defensive aspects, especially points allowed which is obviously the most important. Balt, Buffalo, Pitt and NE are the best in the AFC IMO.
  5. Hey dude! The 70's called looking for their haircut. ?
  6. Cribbs got me watching Bills football. 78 got me paying to see Bills football.
  7. 78 All time great that I still feel doesn't get the appreciation he deserves because he has no ring. I know it's been mentioned many times but imagine Bruce in a 4-3. OMFG!!! He'd be the unquestioned defensive GOAT. He'd have a season record of 30 sacks along with 250+ career.
  8. Well you know if they were able to beat the Pitt Steelers practice squad ?
  9. Can you name a roster during the drought that had as much as that one. Is it ideal? No, but compared to what followed the next 14 years it at least made Sundays watchable. We finally have a quality team but you're gonna act like we've been in contention the last 2 decades? As a Bills fan that 2003 roster was as good as it got up until now. The core of that team went 8-8, 6-10, and 9-7 from 02-04 in a division when the Pats were dominating. Go ahead and give me a better roster from then until last season.
  10. 2003 roster was pretty solid. Though we lost Price and drafted Josh Reed which was a step down, the rest was pretty talented. https://www.pro-football-reference.com/teams/buf/2003_roster.htm
  11. You can count his career sacks on half a middle finger.
  12. Agree. Unless Epenesa totally blows up training camp and becomes virtually unstoppable I don't see him starting over the vet Addison.
  13. Drew? Is that you? ?
  14. I've watched a lot of his highlights also. Old school power is the right term. I really hope he doesn't draw a lot of flags. This guy just engulfs QBs and a lot of times lands on them full body weight. He also tends to grab players and spin throw them HARD to the turf. Strong dude for sure.
  15. Sign me up! I'll take a JJ Watt without all the injuries.
  16. Not sure if he has the record but he did hold the most current consecutive streak from 50 plus. He actually has a better leg on FGs as opposed to kick offs. He was money in the Houston game.
  17. Just because it's his "long" doesn't mean it's the furthest he can kick.
  18. Miami has the look of paper champions this off season. In all seriousness they seem to be putting together a solid team both offensively and defensively. We're the better squad but they should not be taken lightly.
  19. Don't know about that. KC and Baltimore are still the front runners. Then you have Houston, Tennessee, Pitt ( BB's back), Indy will be tough and of course Buffalo. Bills can be as high as 3 or as low as 6 or 7. Then you have talented teams on paper that may finally turn it around like Cleveland, Denver and Miami. Nothing is given and much as I like JA and his heart and grit he's still lacking the polish of a franchise QB.
  20. What makes you think he would've given the Bills the same courtesy? All we can offer him is a ticket out of DC. We're not exactly in the SB conversation yet.
  21. If I were you I'd test my home and work area for toxic fumes. Taylor, Duggar and Chinn aren't generational talents. Shoot not even the best at their positions but you're picturing them in Gold jackets already. Espenesa is the 4th ranked DE by many and being acquired at 54 is great value.
  22. Never said nor dare compared him to my all time favorite Bill. Just threw out the measurables.
  23. Bruce was 6'4 @ 265 but played as heavy as 275. AJ goes 275
