  1. Watson also has (2) first rd. playoff exits, (should be 3?) and choked away a 24 point lead on the way to a 51-31 drubbing. He's a great regular season QB. You want to blame his playoff games on coaching or defensive short comings? Go ahead. You can use the same train of thought on Josh's playoff game as well. To me he's not elite, yet. He is uber talented but hasn't won anything but a game Buffalo choked away. And no, I don't dislike him. If he and Josh were in the same draft and both on the board I'd pick Watson without blinking. But for the forseeable future Josh is my guy!!
  2. Straight to the point! I dig it! Don't agree, but I dig it. ?
  3. Baker Mayfield has accomplished nothing in the same amount of time with significantly more talent. Darnold has accomplished less than nothing in the same amount of time. Jackson has an MVP to his name but also has (2) first rd. playoff exits with an uber talented roster. Watson also has (2) first rd. playoff exits, (should be 3?) and choked away a 24 point lead on the way to a 51-31 drubbing. Nobody is talking about these guys in a make or break scenario. Shoot, Watson will be one of the highest paid QBs pretty soon. I expect Josh to make a significant step forward with the talent surrounding him but in no way do I expect him to be shown the door if it doesn't happen. He's already accomplished more than the (2) "Pro ready" QBs drafted before him. Seems like everyone is so hell bent on seeing him fail to protect the consensus predraft opinion that he would never be an accurate and caliber franchise QB. Yet nobody is defecating on Lamar when many thought he was a RB/WR gadget player. What say you? Thoughts? In your opinion is it truly make or break for Josh this year?
  4. He did do fairly well in NE and got paid more than I expected he would. He did have a QB that was a little better than Darnold though. A little better...
  5. I've said this before and I'll say it again. If Shaq Lawson and Jordan Phillips can get 10 million per on the FA market then Matt Milano should get 10 mil per to stay in Buffalo. He is a more valuable piece to this defense than Phillips and Lawson ever were. Posters that are saying 7 and 8 per are delusional.
  6. This^^^. If Josh shows he's the "real deal" this season Edmunds will most likely get tagged. Milano has expressed love for Buffalo and will most likely accept a "fair" contract along the lines of Dion's. I see a 9-10 Mil per in his future. If Phillips and Lawson can draw 10 per from other teams then Milano certainly should as well.
  7. Fair deal. May look like a bargain if he continues to improve.
  8. Bass has to be lights out to beat out the vet. Hausch may have played poorly in some games last season and very well cost us the Browns game but he was money in the playoff game in Houston.
  9. Hopefully his footwork has gotten better. Beane drafted this guy as a future starting RT who can play Guard in a pinch, not the other way around. I like his attitude but it just tells me he's not the clear cut starter at either position.
  10. Greg Tompsett (@GregTompsett) Tweeted: That size isn’t supposed to move that way ????? #GoBills #BillsMafia Didn't want to start a thread for this so I thought I'd just put it here. Not sure if this was posted anywhere. Does he look impaired to you? ? Man, this kid can move for a man his size! So glad we got him when we did, but does anyone think Quinnen Williams would have been the pick if he were available at the time. It's early but Ed has proven to be the better DT thus far.
  11. Underwhelming career so far. And it's not like he didn't have any talent around him.
  12. I too have high expectations for Jefferson as I feel IMO he is really under rated. Overall solid player who makes everyone on the D-Line better.
  13. Beat me to it. Love Milano because he's a great zone/coverage LB. He's just not a Top 5 LB deserving of such a contract. He does deserve to be retained though. If he was more of a "thumper" and better tackler he'd get a lot more. Dawkins will command a nice contract because of position though he isn't a Top 5 LT. If Buffalo doesn't pay him some other team will. Very good LTs are obviously highly coveted.
  14. Agreed. I stopped paying attention to these opinionated polls and rankings a loooooong time ago. But, I'm sure it does bother the players. Especially the ones whose stats prove otherwise.
  15. 3D Chess at a Grandmaster level.
  16. Teams don't usually have 2 elite level CBs on a starting defense. Usually on most Top defenses you'll have an elite or pro bowl level CB on one side and a very good to above average CB on the other. Unfortunately the drop off after Tre is pretty significant. Fortunately our D is designed around players that excel in zone coverage that have good recognition, anticipation, and reaction. If Norman recaptures his form from his Carolina days we should be good. Wallace, Jackson and newly acquired King provide solid depth.
  17. Meh....Far from exciting, but for the right price I wouldn't mind it.
  18. Oh.... My bad.? I know Diggs isn't a slot guy. I just went there because by the OPs prediction we'd have a #1 WR whose posting identical numbers to our current slot WR.
  19. Oh, you mean the "we" part. ? Look Doc, we all in some form live somewhat vicariously through our favorite teams, athletes and whatever figures we choose to admire. Try not to be so literal ? I was also really pissed when "we" signed Star for 10 mil a year even though I was fully aware it wasn't my money.
  20. Probably would've went on IR after a nose swab test anyway.
  21. Minnesota didn't exactly give him to us for a box of kicking tees and a couple old Don Beebe jerseys.?
  22. So basically what you're saying is he's our new Cole Beasley? Beasley in 2019 67 rec 778 yds 6 TDs Can't believe we gave up a 1st rounder for another slot receiver.?
  23. This. Even with all their troubles they are far from the worse team in the league. Jets, Jags, Washington, Cincy, Giants are all inferior to the current NE roster. I'd put them in the 6-8 win category with Cleveland, Indy, SD, Raiders, Dolphins, and Bears. IMO 8 plus win teams are: SF, Sea, GB, NO, Hou, Baltimore, Pitt, Dallas, Chiefs, Tenn, Buffalo, Minn, The IDK teams are: Atl, Car, Arizona, Rams, Tampa, Eagles Dolphins have proven they can beat the Pats so maybe they should be the favorite, right?
  24. It would look more like him if they narrowed his head, it's too wide. And he's right, it needs a doorag.
