  1. They're playing tantric football. Don't the touchdowns feel more euphoric than usual?😄
  2. They probably feel with all the new O linemen on the Jets their continuity won't be very good. I expect a lot of missed assignments. Addison, Oliver, Harrison, Jefferson are pretty stout.
  3. Allen is over rated by no one other than the Bills fan base. He's crapped on by every pundit, fan base, and sports network out there. Over rated: Milano. Excels in one area and that's coverage. Not great in run support, not a great tackler Honorable mention: Jerry Hughes (26.5 sacks the last 6 seasons from your top pass rusher) That's pretty bad! Under rated: That's a tough one. I'd say John Brown. He's never mentioned in top WR discussion but has proven to be quite the player when given the chance to be a focal point. Will likely take a step back this year cause of Diggs but still expect him to be near the 1k mark. Honorable mention: Micah Hyde. Leader of men, solid tackler, good hands, right place right time kinda player.
  4. Winner. My choice as well. I think Nsecke will be our swing tackle spelling Dawkins and Williams when needed. I really would like to see Ford develop into an RT as it was what he was drafted for. I saw a podcast with J. Sirles who knows Ford well and said he would be better suited at RT because it fits his skill set like footwork and quickness better. Feels he doesn't have the "point of attack" power needed like Feliciano. Unless there's a Q.Nelson on the board you don't draft Guards in the late 1st and early 2nd.
  5. Agree. From reports he was playing well in camp before the hamstring. He probably just needs a little time to heal fully. Hopefully he'll be good to go and rotate with Levi by Week 4.
  6. I expect them not to play down to their competition. For as long as I can remember even under McD the Bills always seem to keep it interesting even against lesser teams. There's no Mosely, Adams, Williamson, Mims, etc. etc. etc. Bills should win even when the Jets are at full strength. Tomorrow they better win by 17 easily. If McD starts nursing a 14 point lead I'm going to lose it!
  7. That's me right there man. Regardless of opponent and the state of our team. For the last 35 years my stomach is always flipping up to kick off. Personally I hate this game. It's a no win situation win or lose. If we win? Big deal! You beat a practice squad caliber dumpster fire of a team. If we lose? Make up your own demoralizing narrative and multiply by 10x. I'd rather play a contender. Where win or lose there's no negative other than a loss. No shame losing a game to KC, SF, NO or Sea especially if it's competitive. JMHO.
  8. To me that's the Jets biggest advantage. Can you imagine an O line with 5 new starters and rookie LT trying to communicate in a stadium of crazed fans like Bills Mafia on opening day? The Horror!
  9. It's not bud. 1. Elite (All Pro) 2. Above Average ( Pro Bowl ) 3. Average 4. Fair I like Wallace, he's a good player. But remember he's small IIRC 6ft 180lbs. If he goes down that side of the D becomes a liability. We can get away with it against the Jets but looking forward it may pose a problem against talented WRs. Tre can't cover all of them.
  10. Pro day? I don't put much stock in those as the numbers a lot of times are skewed in favor of the player. Yes he's fast but off the top of my head, T. Hill, J. Ross, M. Goodwin, J. Grant, Ma. Brown, W. Fuller, B. Cooks, P. Dorsett, Diggs? Plus "timed" speed doesn't always translate to game speed.
  11. C'mon man! He's fast but I can name at least 10 WRs that are faster and Perriman is coming off injury to boot. I'm one of the fans who think we are lacking at CB2. To me Levi is solid depth, average starter. Yes I understand we can't have an All Pro at every position but I thought we would have done better in the off season than Norman. True, any given Sunday but as far as underestimating? Remember who coaches this team. McD would prep our starters against a Pop Warner team.
  12. True. Not needed when your top WR is in the slot. I'm more concerned about Crowder than Perriman.
  13. That's a little harsh Gugny, he had his moments. Had a few mental lapses in concentration as most rookies do. McD is on track to be a very good HC as not many start their tenures with 2 playoff appearances in 3 years. Just as reference Bill Belicheck was 20/28 his first 3 years (No Playoffs) McD is 25/23 with 2 playoff appearances.
  14. The last 3 defenses are considerably better than KC's. Houston, we have a problem!
  15. I'll say this. I like Watson and think he's a very good QB but never considered him Elite like so many analysts and pundits. He's had 2 first round playoff exits and let's face it, it should've been 3. He then proceeded to blow a 24 point lead last season yet he received no flack about it. Josh loses his 1st playoff game after an 18 point lead and we can't stop hearing about it. So far he's 12/20 for 139, 0 TDs and 1 INT. in the 4th. That's elite QB play? At least he got his money out the way.
  16. IIRC The Cody Ford fine was originally 28k and then reduced to 4k. If that's so, Anderson was fined 18k less for an obvious dirty hit than Ford was initially for a questionable illegal block penalty. The massive fine reduction tells us that the NFL acknowledged the refs eff'd that call big time.
  17. Gotta feeling Gase and Darnold are gonna need Oda Mae Brown when this game is over. Wonder how many get the reference?🤔
  18. Ramsey also had LA behind the 8 ball. They traded future picks without securing a deal when they acquired him knowing full well they would have to make him the highest paid. They would've looked like idiots if they didn't retain him. And man did they pay! Buffalo still had an option year on Tre and the tag if things got difficult.
  19. Gotta tell ya. I know the Bills have made a move in Diggs to open up the passing game but I'm kinda old school. I want to see the offense attack the strength of the Jets defense. Run defense. I want to see Moss and Singletary utilized in the run game against their D to the point it demoralizes them. Screens, sweeps, off tackle, counters. Chunks after chunks of yardage pounding the rock into their front 7. And then when they cheat up the box to stop it, BANG!!! Diggs, Smoke or Sauce for the TD. It's just so fun watching an opposing D hang their heads down in a helpless state with no answers.
  20. Didn't see it bud. My bad I didn't read through. Hey, you know what they say about great minds, right? 👍
  21. Why not? It would be such a Jets thing to do 😆
  22. Gase,......Halftime of Week 1 Or Marrone,.... Week 4 after all the starters demand a trade.
  23. I think what makes it that much easier is the fact that they're a team that never really skimped on attaining talent in the hopes of putting together a quality roster. Over paying players to lure them to NY in the hopes of success. Leveon Bell, CJ Mosely, Anthony Barr (before he defected), Tremaine Johnson, etc. only to see it blow up in their faces ala Cleveland. I'm sure it burns them up watching a rival build slowly through competent drafting and "smart" FA signings that results in long term stability. In 3 years McD and Beane have stripped this team of malcontents and horrible signings and built a culture driven, goal oriented team of quality players. Off the top of my head. J.Allen, D.Singletary, D. Dawkins, T. Edmunds, M. Milano, T. White, E. Oliver, H. Phillips, L. Wallace, Z. Moss, C. Ford, S.Neal, T. Johnson (All contributors and drafted by the Buffalo Bills)
  24. I want a SB victory! As long as we're not losing the SB, I'll take it.
  25. Cordy Glenn? Oops nevermind.. 2nd rdr
